I'm glad you gave them this chance! I started watching you for you Periphery videos, but I'm delighted to see you've looked at Don broco because they're one of my favourite bands of all time for reasons I can't really put into words. I guess I just resonate with their willingness to be silly but also deeply profound. they're also extremely fun to see live. if you ever check them out again I think you'd like Easter Sunday, Tightrope, Further, Anaheim and How Are You Done With Existing?, since these songs are more on their serious side and you seem to like the sort of epic/emotional sound based on what I've seen so far
What a wonderful way to wake up this morning. I had a feeling this one would grab you. Very glad to see you enjoyed it. The lyrics to this song are quite profound, especially given their usual goofy tone. I can't promise this will make you a fan of all their work (maybe it will.. who knows?), but this track really was something special. This also makes me so much more excited to hear your thoughts on The Dear Hunter. The two groups are vastly different, but there's a few things you said in here that make me feel like you will reeeeally get into their particular brand of musical magic. Loved the video! Looking forward to the next.
I think you were hearing a glockenspiel, not a xylophone (and pretty sure that's what I saw in the clip). Much more ringing as it's made from metal bars (xylophone wood of course). Cool feature is that you can mute it with a pedal. It's also played with a harder mallet than what you use on a xylophone. Basically all the fantasy stuff you hear from television and film, (ex. Harry Potter) being one of those instances. It's a beautiful percussion instrument!
The instrument is / are called crotales - not sure if it's a generic name or specific to that particular style (and too lazy to put it through a search engine). Rather surprised to find I liked this one - not sure why I'm surprised: I've liked most of the stuff you've reacted to!
Ah, thanks for this knowledge Alan! Much appreciated. Cool to hear our tastes are fairly aligned thus far. Fortunately I haven’t yet reacted to a song and thought “nope this was awful” but I’m sure that day will come lol. There are a couple songs in the next few days that I’ve had very mixed feelings on, as I recall. Even they have had some positive moments though.
Please react to The Warning, 3 sisters from Monterrey Mexico. A new breed of Rock. From there new EP: Evolve ruclips.net/video/3_RB0tRI624/видео.html; Martirio (in Spanish)ruclips.net/video/KRA3nMzF31M/видео.html
I do have a reaction to Evolve already on my channel actually! Have a look in my videos to find it. Also got a reaction to Dust To Dust coming up in a few days.
I' m looking forward to Dust to Dust! You react to many bands that I like, Nightwish, Epica and Lovebites. Try "Swan Song" WITH the Chopin prelude. You will be blown away by Miyako on Grand Piano!!

Cheers Craig! This was a great song.
Nice review mate!, this song is especially good from the lads, but goes to another level with the orchestra.
Used to be one of my favorite bands, but they went downhill so hard. Albums 'Automatic' and 'Technology' are soooo good.
This was enjoyable. I might look into them more.
buy amazing things...you won't be disappointed!

Thanks Leon!
If you haven't yet I recommend checking out they're song Bruce Willis the music video is great too haha
I'm thinking the ending is like the beginning, it was paired xylophone and harpsichord
