I apologize for contributing to the annoyance. Besides my minimal dirt bike experience and sitting on my dad’s “Harley” (it’s an Aprila Scarabeo), I have little biking experience.
I’m interested in purchasing my first bike, and while I am certainly more interested in a cruiser/adventure, I find myself looking back into Sport bikes for my desired use. Personally, I’d like a bike that is comfortable to use for more than an hour and a half, is loud enough for cars to hear me (but also not be an annoyance) for safety reasons, it doesn’t shake or excessively vibrate when I’ll occasionally take it on the highway, is Japanese, and can handle/overtake at speeds upwards of 80mph. My concern is that once my riding capabilities are good, I’ll find myself bored with a 300-400cc piece of metal that struggles to ride smoothly at 70mph .
    I’ve been looking at:
    Ninja 400
    MT 09/07
    SV 650
But my cousin got a CBR650R as his first and he LOVES it. Would love to hear your input on this

@@Slindyy it’s really hard to say I’m far from a expert but in my opinion it’s better to go cheap used small bike first and then it will give you some wiggle room when you upgrade. That being said everyone is different but going to big to fast will slow down your learning. I had a z400 it was fun but I ride a 450 dirt bike so I was looking for a little more. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
