To note about the games history… firstly it’s cool you looked into the past games! But they are all stand alone games. The only thing they really share are our main characters Nikki and momo. We may occasionally get a cameo from some past npc’s but it’s hard to say. None of the npcs have appeared in 3D really, even in the previous 3D game.
no, you can't get duplicates till you got all parts, if you keep reading it tells you that, and that is for the alternate colors. both 4 and 5 star are like that. And you can use the parts you got, that screen is just to show haow many parts you have/is missing.

I won't discuss how much money a ten pull is because I have no idea, I'm very bad at numbers. But what I can say for certain is that you're not correct about the five star pulls. You get each piece of the outfit once, no duplicates until you have completed it (then you can pull again if you want a second outfit). I haven't played many gacha games, only genshin, but I'd say infinity nikki is very kind to us in that regard, and you can even select which piece you want so you get it guaranteed after 5 failed attempts. Diamonds are everywhere in the game atm so it all looks very doable.
i played a lot of gachas, and even genshin, you are on point, is about equivalent to get the character if you lose 50/50, about 140~180, both the flutter storm and crystal poems i got all parts at about 140~150ish, from the beggin up to this point i spent 0 dollars in the game, completed all main story and all Soverign battle[even if not getting perfect score, you only need normal score], it is really F2P friendly.
