Also, this interview is such a testament to hard work and dedication. I'm a huge fan of Edgar's work and it's mainly because when you watch his films, you just know how much love and 110% of his work ethic is poured in. Awesome guy and really important life lessons in this interview.
My favorite director of all time right here. Imagine being in love with your work so much that you make it entertaining for others. Admiration for Wright is like breathing for me. I thoroughly enjoy his work and mind.
he looks so young for his age!!
I love how every directer working now always mentions Robert Rodriguez in one way or another
Its because tarantino him and robert have sort of like their group
RyanGiggsOBE i read his book on how he made his first film, fucking inspired the fuck out of me......... "Just do it "
I love how you just let the craftspeople have time to talk. It's so much more informative and insightful than your typical EPK interviews.
Another amazing interview DP/30! Thanks so much!!!
This is one of the best relatively new directors out there today, realy amazing the work he's been doing in the past years. Scott Pilgrim I dare to say is one of the best films I ever saw. His style has no competitors.
Informative and candid. What else could you ask for. Thanks!
9:45 in. I totally relate to his comment about learning so much about your film and why it didn't come out like you see it in your head. I had the same epiphany with my first film. Wesley Fletcher. On youtube.
he is so adorable yet i am angry at myself not noticing his tummy
Can't wait for Part 2. Don't know if you take suggestions, but an interview with Paul Brickman, the writer/director of Risky Business, would be very interesting. It's a big mystery to me why he never made another good movie.
Great interview
Very good to see the director and co-writer of the masterpiece Scott Pilgrim Vs The World. What The Flick gave his new movie a positive review.
I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!
Good Interview
So glad he done well remember him at Wells Blue school .
Can you please turn on auto-captions? I re-watched the film last night and this was one of the first interviews I was looking forward to seeing.
PART 2 please
Oh, look at his little tummy. He's so adorable.
Part 2 please
They zoomed in to cover his belly lol
90% of comments here are talking about his belly.
It's very good that the movies are not improvised. When you you do get a movie that is mostly improvised, you get shite like Ghostbusters 2016.
What is that word the interviewer uses at 9:53? "Eeling"? "Ealing"? What does it mean?
I think he says "ill experience" at that point.
Ealing refers to Ealing comedies from the '50s.
oh GOD he’s so fuckin cute🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
His comments about how he doesn't do improvisation are interesting. The Ant-Man movie that came out that he was attached to was all about improvisation.
Vincecouk He left that project bc of creative differences
Remember him carrying carma at school funny things u Remember .Good for him ❤
He should direct Kung Fu movies
the interviewer needs to let him finish a sentence, there was like 10 times when he just blatantly cut him off in a middle of a thought
I know what you mean but with Edgar "like, sort of like, it's funny like, sort of like, kinda like, barely like, sorta like", any interviewer need to edit him live once in a while, to get something concrete to show....
@@TEKRific Who would DARE cut off the great Edgar? 😂
Judd apetow ruined comedies by making his stand around and crack jokes observational humor movies. Ever since it's like they are all the same.
Definitely. American comedies are not visual enough superbad was good but that was 13 years ago
@@daftbanna7202 super bad was good. Another great comedy was tropic thunder.
dat belly
U and sharpy are a match made in hell
He's just trying to emulate his buddy Peter Jackson ):
It's looks like he's pregnant
Wrong about Melissa McCarthy. Just wrong.
He says "like" and "I mean" *way* too often, so much so that I had to stop watching. Never happened before. I respect him so much but fuck... that's bad!
Ha ha ha ha ha
Fresh faced wtf
Where's the beach laylow chair honey ...hmmm
What about giving a sandwich to the folk who died at 9/11 dude what about there lives 😮they don't need sandwiches anymore but it doesn't mean we don't still think about them
