      Me too, so I got two (not at same time; I got an RT in manual first then to the Scat Pack in manual) of them before actually owning a Mustang.

    I know this video is now a year old but great real world review. I daily drive my Challenger and I love it. I’ve had a few Mustangs, a Camaro, a Crossfire and a few imports. They are all great in their own way. But I’m now a Mopar (FCA) fan. It just never gets old!

    Cost of entry and ownership (gas & insurance) between the Scat Pack and the R/T is what has me liking the R/T more. Of course if I had the money I’d love a Scat Pack or any Hellcat variant, but that’s not my priority at this point in my life.
    Love what you’ve done with the R/T and I’m looking forward to your future mods and changes.

    I went from a 2010 v6 camaro to a 14 challenger rt. My first test drive, I was shocked that it wasn’t much faster than my camaro but I still got it. I got a muffler & resonator delete and it really wakes up that Hemi. Once in drive thru there was a ‘18 rt challenger & he had a muffler/resonator delete & it’s a difference on the active exhaust models, sounds a lot better than mine did. My ‘14 model only had 7k miles a year ago, inferno orange color. Up to the ‘14 models, you’re able to swap out the factory radio(which is sh!t). So I’ve added a tv, 12” solobaric sub, window tint all around, black hood wrap. The r/t is a great daily driver with ok power. Problem is now EVERYBODY has one(most are v6) & the amount of black challengers I see is ridiculous

    I could listen to that Hemi all day!

    If anyone is wanting “handling” like canyon carving stuff get the V6 GT ... Charger or Challenger... not that people buy these cars for that, but they are amazing at it. Especially the AWD ... the GTs have sport suspension, paddle shifters and super light weight front end , at about 200 pounds (lighter you feel it)

    5.1 at 7:40!!! That’s very very healthy for a 5.7. Love your chally!

    Great Video. Thanks! I had a 2015 Camaro 1LE and was super fun, (summer only tires) but wanted something that I could use as a daily driver. Just sold it. I checked out the Challengers and decided on the RT with the manual tranny. For me just enough power. The Scat Pack reminded me of my Camaro. Hard to keep the wheels from spining..FUN yes, but not for everyday use??? Seemed like the 6.2L just wanted to go fast and living in the city no real opportunity to really enjoy that engine. Waiting for the RT to be build....I will keep you posted. Again. Thanks for your videos. Helped me make my decision a bit easier.

    Glad to see it still puts a smile on your face when you start the video. Looking for one after my 300S comes off lease in 3 months. Use to live in Buffalo so it is fun trying to figure out where you are driving. Thanks for the videos.

    Cool I also went from a v6 Camaro to a challenger rt. Got a 2019 cause I like the new srt style hood scoop and bottom lip they come with now. Plenty of power for me and love the sound of the active exhaust. Would recommend as a starting point v8 since they're generally more affordable.

      justin chavez yes is yours that color, because I don’t know if it came like this from the factory, but In the son my back bumper is almost a blackish green color. I’ve heard painting cars in different areas are harder , but i wonder if my car was in an accident

    • @djz3bra
      @djz3bra 4 года назад +1

      OmegaGreed if you have cloth seats then it isn’t an rt plus.. but you have the upgraded infotainment center so it’s definitely not a base model. The base models are still just as badass, my cousin had one and he has a scat now and honestly for that type of car personally I don’t think trim really matters that much.

    • @davebuilds7261
      @davebuilds7261 2 года назад +1

      @@djz3bra I agree. And personally I think it’s nice that’s the interiors on all models are pretty similar, so you still get that feel.
