Lots of things wrong with the last half hour of the movie.. There were more men from the village, hiding in the woods, than there were bandits in the village.
It is indeed hard to get a group of singers who don't know English to sing the lyrics to "When Johnny Comes Marching Home", a Confederate song, especially when they're Yankees.
