They are young, they are exploring their options. It’s not wrong what they’re doing right yet because they are young. They’re trying to find their way and I will never ever judge them ever. More specifically, "faith" means belief. (I just clarify that detail for anyone who may need to "hear" it.)
I'm running into two groups of people whom are very resistant to the Gospel. The first group is friends/ acquaintances who are anti-religion; thus, they can't/ won't receive the news when I tell them Who Jesus is and what He did for everyone willing to believe on Him. They want to hold on to the idea that "Christianity" equals "churchianity;" they refuse to know that if ALL were to disappear overnight, what Jesus did for us still would stand.
Then there are friends/ acquaintances who proclaim themselves to be "Christian," but they seem more interested in wearing that label than truly believing in Jesus. I've neighbors, a married couple, who attend church weekly; they don't know what the Bible actually teaches. When I first mentioned to them that the Old Testament contains prophecies--meaning it foretold events that occurred later in time--the wife laughed the mention of "prophecy" and said, "Oh, you mean like Nostradamus?" My jaw just about hit the table.
I pray for people--of ALL backgrounds (and especially wayward "Christians")--to come to know the Truth of Word of the one, true, living God.

If you're reading this I pray you call on the only name that can truly save you and free you and that is Jesus Christ. You talk about an encounter with Jesus, but I’ve never had an encounter per say, I’ve always have known him. I have a memory of being 6 months old and knowing Jesus. And He’s always been there. I haven’t been there always…but I repented and I have a glorious relationship with Him every day…I’m suffering after having a stroke recently, but He’s sending what I call Angels, some in human form, some spiritual. Because I’m in great need. Praying endlessly I know soon what my future holds. But He’s definitely in that, He’s my present and my future! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
The fact you never had an encounter is even better! Blessed those who have not seen yet believe! Ive asked for serveral signs and wonders for me to believe. I have ocd so doubting and double checking just to be sure. I use to mock people like i for their faith now I know you guys are the lucky ones!

I remember the exact moment I realized, the more I chased happiness, the more elusive it became. And I thought to myself, "Maybe happiness isn't even the goal.". Almost immediately an answer came from (seemingly) nowhere. "Holiness is the goal." I was blown away because God was the furthest thing from my mind. Now I do my best to follow the example of Jesus and life is much better.
Wow. I think that’s something i’m learning. Its holiness and not happiness what a word. This has impacted me. I’m at a point where i feel God is starting to twist and turn and break me and it hurts and I don’t like the feeling at all but I want to be able to dance in heaven with my white garment and behold God’s glory. Thank you because i cried with all of this starting with your encounter. "Christians can't agree on their own religion, so what am I even supposed to be trying to believe?" My husband to me this morning... he's not wrong... I can see why that would be so off-putting. All I could say was that as soon as he decides he wants to know God with all his heart he'll start to find answers.
It’s not about religion. That doesn’t matter, God won’t come for all “Christian’s” or Catholics or whatever. He comes for the people who actually seek him and build a relationship with him. Follow God not a religion, most religions preach false doctrines anyway
The devil is in the church and he's causing division. There is true Christianity and false Christianity. The devil spends a lot of time attacking the church to get it to where it is today, which is apostate. Fake manuscripts, fake bibles, fake sermons, etc.
That's why it's best to follow God and not other Christians. Also, it's important to read the Bible for oneself, the Bible won't mislead us. You told him the right thing though, seeking God with all your heart is the key

I will pray for these two. I am so grateful to have found your channel and find someone who truly feels the same way and has had a truly miraculous, amazing encounter with the Lord. I respect these two for being so open to listening and chatting! I'm not in the church right now and I do pray I can find a good, genuine group to stay with. It just seems hard nowadays. Like you said, the church is full of people who don't believe and don't want to be there, not to mention so many other issues. It's heartbreaking.
