I am going on 56 yrs old first I heard the man was about 1981! Roberto,'s music has always been a go to songs never brings me down. Que siempre viva la Musica de Mr. Roberto Pulido y los Clasicos🍻🍻
I’d give anything to go back thirty years. 12 years old, backstage, looking up at these guys killing it onstage. That’s my pops jamming on the guitar. It still sounds just as sharp. Freakin awesome vid,. Thanks for sharing.
Will do, my friend…My father wept when we lost Leonel. Condolences to you & your family. So grateful to have known him, the memories, & for all the recordings he left us to enjoy. Que escuelota nos dejo.
@@elleon8170 Your dad, Leonel Pulido, was a good man and good friend. Met him as a fellow musician back in 1994. My wife and i took him out for breakfast at Denny's after a gig at Desperados in Arlington many years later. Leonel was a very humble man. He is missed so much by many that knew him. R.I.P. Leonel.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing this video. My dad was Leonel Pulido. Every so often I watch this concert because I remember being there with my dad. My whole family was there actually. I would give anything to see the, perform again. I also lost my mom Nievitas last year to the pandemic. Listening to my mom’s polka being played by my dad at the end of the concert is very emotional. I truly appreciate you posting this. Thank you so much on behalf of my family. Stay safe.
Leonel Pulido was an amazing guy and giant in the Tejano music scene. Loved his talent and his humble way of communicating with the public. He is missed. Condolences for your Mom's passing and prayers for your Family.
Leonardo Pulido, I'm sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of your dad back around the 1993-1996 time frame. He played the accordion with such ease and was such a professional. I'll try and post a pic of his autograph soon.
Leonardo Pulido, You're welcome. Your dad was a good man. I'm glad to meet him and play along side him a few times on sax when Flaco would invite me on stage. And so sorry for your mom also. I'm sure she was a good woman herself just like your dad was. May they R.I.P.🙏
Lionel was so smooth. Jesse on drums was always in that pocket. I miss this era of Los Classico’s, but they will always be one of my favorites. Remember being 7 yrs old just watching them from the side of the stage.
So strange, when we were growing up in the barking dog Barrios of Edinburg, we used to Call our buddy, 'Pulido,' instead of Roberto. I dont know why but later, the world was also calling him Pulido as well and thrn of course 'El Primo' kicked in. 'El Primo' came from his Nuevo Leon Roots. They all call each other 'Primo'.
