But what’s helped keep me afloat is making content for my loyal returning viewers instead of the algorithm, and offering value outside of RUclips that significantly supplements my income. To be honest, it wasn’t until I started my new channel last year that I was even able to look at RUclips ad revenue as a significant income source. For me, RUclips is just one piece of the business puzzle. I’ve just had a look at your Patreon, and I see the tiers only go up to $50. I would consider coming up with a business plan that offers value that you can charge more for. I’m not familiar enough with the specifics of your business to make suggestions on that, but I used to help coach people on their creative businesses, and I can tell just based on what I know about you that you could create something that allows a few very dedicated fans to support you in bigger ways! If that’s not something you’re interested in doing, I apologize for that unsolicited advice lol. I just really appreciate your work and hope you can find a sustainable way to keep doing what you love!

When you have a picnic, or organize your cottage, or feed Tibby and the birds...these videos are so gentle and endearing, and I never tire of them. I know you plan more holiday videos, but our family doesn't celebrate Halloween or Christmas, so I'm likely alone here, but I usually pass on those. I would hate to see you having to give up your channel, so I'm sitting here trying to think of ideas for you lol. I know, who am I to come up with content ideas? I have noticed that anti consumerism content is having a moment right now, and I myself seek it out because I'm tired of everything being about consumerism. I'm sick of the Amazon-ification of life. Anyway, I feel like that type of content seems adjacent to your current content and lifestyle in a way, and maybe you could lean into that a little. From thrifting to making things by hand or even old-fashioned money saving hacks. Like how people lived before capitalism touched every aspect of our lives. Anyway, just a thought. My friends I know this must have been a difficult video to make for so many reasons. The wildfires are heartbreaking(I used to live in La Mesa and have a dear friend still in the area who has experiences the fires first hand in the past so has been a very anxious time for her)! Having health issues are super challenging too, I can relate. I think the thing that touched my heart so much was how you have given so much time and energy through your videos that promote the slow living the world is craving, to the point that you two are not able to enjoy the slow living lifestyle in your lives. That hurts my heart. I’ve been with you guys for five years and the community you have built (as well as Jonas’ art and recipes) have added so much to my life. Hi Lindsay and Jonah. I have subscribed to your channel for a few years and I always hit the like button, but don’t always comment. In order to help you increase your watch hours, I have put your videos on “play all” on the TV in the living room, so anytime I am in there I can sit down and watch, but when I leave the room, I leave the video playing during the day.

I love your channel and hope you can continue. There are so many YT channels out there that it makes it hard for creators, and viewers as well, at least that is what I think. With me, there are a few channels that I follow consistently, and yours is one of them. Long videos are hard because who has the time? I usually will skip over those to catch the high points. Not talking about your channel here because you all do not post that often. Some people will post every day and it may be more than 30 minutes. I feel bad that I have to skip through them, but I do. I notice a lot of channels are doing the short versions sometimes, and whether that helps or not, I have no clue. I am so sad about the fires in CA, just horrible. I have always hated those Santa Ana winds and the damage they do, and they have fires every year, but to reach the city and burn all those homes is a new level of horror. Write a Cozy Cottage series featuring Tibby then can sell merch featuring Tibby & friends. Burnout happens at times especially with being creative . I know nothing about what it takes to have a RUclips channel, I can only imagine the work you both put into it. I watch several decorating channels and they do start decorating months ahead of the actual season. Maybe, you could record your holiday videos and then wait to release them at a later date. Example, record your Halloween video in October as usual, but wait to release it, in July. Who would know that it was recorded the previous year? I don’t know why, but other creators are complaining about the same things you are. Several are really having to struggle to keep their channels. Please remember, there will always be highs and lows in life and many dark tunnels to navigate but, there is always a light at the end and we just need to keep the faith. Just like when you thought your families would never meet and they finally did. If we have faith, anything is possible. I love your channel and all of your content, I sincerely hope things work out for you!

I love your channel and have several of your art prints and display at Halloween and Fall time. Went to visit Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown with a friend and thought of you two while walking the area and town. I do love when you feature cooking and baking. I think a shop that you owned in Tarrytown would be a great idea but I am sure upkeep would be alot.

I don’t tend to get anywhere near as many views as you guys, and I never get sponsored. But what’s helped keep me afloat is making content for my loyal returning viewers instead of the algorithm, and offering value outside of RUclips that significantly supplements my income. To be honest, it wasn’t until I started my new channel last year that I was even able to look at RUclips ad revenue as a significant income source. For me, RUclips is just one piece of the business puzzle.
I’ve just had a look at your Patreon, and I see the tiers only go up to $50. I would consider coming up with a business plan that offers value that you can charge more for. I’m not familiar enough with the specifics of your business to make suggestions on that, but I used to help coach people on their creative businesses, and I can tell just based on what I know about you that you could create something that allows a few very dedicated fans to support you in bigger ways!
If that’s not something you’re interested in doing, I apologize for that unsolicited advice lol. I just really appreciate your work and hope you can find a sustainable way to keep doing what you love!

I literally just found you guys leading up to the 2024 holiday season, and I have to say that I love your videos so much! I would hate to see you having to give up your channel, so I'm sitting here trying to think of ideas for you lol. I know, who am I to come up with content ideas? I have noticed that anti consumerism content is having a moment right now, and I myself seek it out because I'm tired of everything being about consumerism. I'm sick of the Amazon-ification of life. Anyway, I feel like that type of content seems adjacent to your current content and lifestyle in a way, and maybe you could lean into that a little. From thrifting to making things by hand or even old-fashioned money saving hacks. Like how people lived before capitalism touched every aspect of our lives. Anyway, just a thought. My friends I know this must have been a difficult video to make for so many reasons. The wildfires are heartbreaking(I used to live in La Mesa and have a dear friend still in the area who has experiences the fires first hand in the past so has been a very anxious time for her)! Having health issues are super challenging too, I can relate. I think the thing that touched my heart so much was how you have given so much time and energy through your videos that promote the slow living the world is craving, to the point that you two are not able to enjoy the slow living lifestyle in your lives. That hurts my heart. I’ve been with you guys for five years and the community you have built (as well as Jonas’ art and recipes) have added so much to my life. You have some of the most professionally designed videos. I have always appreciated how beautiful your dresses are and the nature scenes, Jonas's artwork, etc. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort in your work. It's relaxing to watch. And I have needed this more this year than previous ones. I would love to see more travel videos. More Sweden especially. And traditional Swedish baking. Cooking videos always do well. Do you do RUclips shorts? Those always get my attention and I actually subscribe to many of their channels by watching the shorts. Keep going. I hope you find a solution to your back pain Lindsay. The children's book I can't wait for. I have many great neices and nephews. Ages one to three years. I'm always trying to find nice books to give them. So many have awful artwork in them nowadays. The algorithms are a cruel part of this business and seem to force so many into working insane amounts of hours , trying to stay on top. Honestly, this video only popped up when I went to subscribers link and you were still live. I heard Jonas suggestion to let us keep you company while you clean. This is something I do and also when I go to sleep with a playlist running to help my favorite creators. I will add you to that line-up as well. In order to help you increase your watch hours, I have put your videos on “play all” on the TV in the living room, so anytime I am in there I can sit down and watch, but when I leave the room, I leave the video playing during the day.

I love your channel and hope you can continue. There are so many YT channels out there that it makes it hard for creators, and viewers as well, at least that is what I think. With me, there are a few channels that I follow consistently, and yours is one of them. Long videos are hard because who has the time? I usually will skip over those to catch the high points. Not talking about your channel here because you all do not post that often. Some people will post every day and it may be more than 30 minutes. I feel bad that I have to skip through them, but I do. I notice a lot of channels are doing the short versions sometimes, and whether that helps or not, I have no clue. I am so sad about the fires in CA, just horrible. I have always hated those Santa Ana winds and the damage they do, and they have fires every year, but to reach the city and burn all those homes is a new level of horror. Please don't stop your videos. They are inspiring and so fun!! I certainly think you could write a book and it would be loved! I love children's books!! Blessings to you both in 2025!

Like a video just of Jonas baking one dish from start to finish,sharing Swedish customs and decor, or Lindsey showing how she puts her vintage outfits together or themes with outfits and props for your charming videos. Write a Cozy Cottage series featuring Tibby then can sell merch featuring Tibby & friends. Burnout happens at times especially with being creative . We need you and your charming selves to continue to bring light, joy and beauty into the YT world.❤

I know nothing about what it takes to have a RUclips channel, I can only imagine the work you both put into it. I watch several decorating channels and they do start decorating months ahead of the actual season. Maybe, you could record your holiday videos and then wait to release them at a later date. Example, record your Halloween video in October as usual, but wait to release it, in July. Who would know that it was recorded the previous year? I don’t know why, but other creators are complaining about the same things you are. Several are really having to struggle to keep their channels. Please remember, there will always be highs and lows in life and many dark tunnels to navigate but, there is always a light at the end and we just need to keep the faith. Just like when you thought your families would never meet and they finally did. If we have faith, anything is possible. I love your channel and all of your content, I sincerely hope things work out for you!

I love your channel and have several of your art prints and display at Halloween and Fall time. Went to visit Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown with a friend and thought of you two while walking the area and town. I do love when you feature cooking and baking. I think a shop that you owned in Tarrytown would be a great idea but I am sure upkeep would be alot.
