I just could not stop myself from writing this, I am not Persian but we share our history which started 2500 years ago. Yes I did not understand a single word of this song but it does not matter I think music is all about feelings and passion and after listening to this song tears are at the corner of my eyes that's the power of music and I hope someday music will overpower all the hate politics of the so called world leaders and there will not be any barriers between two people from two different side of world or type, colours, ethnicity, religious belief or sexual orientation of people and we all live happily. In general it is hell to live in Iran if one's a homosexual because it is banned both culturally and religiously. but in bigger cities like Tehran the younger generations are more open to the idea. you see our religious regime even bans using the word homosexuality in public media let alone discussing it but if the time comes and the media starts talking about it, it won't take long for homosexuality to transfer from a taboo to a natural normal thing. I'm a gay Iranian Canadian man who has full support of my family and relatives even when I came out about my sexuality. Other Iranian families need to take a note from my family and relatives and start accepting their loved ones back with total support, for blood is thicker then water, and families need to stick together in support of each other. In general it is hell to live in Iran if one's a homosexual because it is banned both culturally and religiously. but in bigger cities like Tehran the younger generations are more open to the idea. you see our religious regime even bans using the word homosexuality in public media let alone discussing it but if the time comes and the media starts talking about it, it won't take long for homosexuality to transfer from a taboo to a natural normal thing. I'm a gay Iranian Canadian man who has full support of my family and relatives even when I came out about my sexuality. Other Iranian families need to take a note from my family and relatives and start accepting their loved ones back with total support, for blood is thicker then water, and families need to stick together in support of each other. I'm so blessed and thankful for the support I have from my parents, siblings, cousins and uncles and aunts.
