    Hahaha love it mate,
    Possibly a little bronzy? Tail chafing up the leader.
    Would explain big powerful runs and headshakes.
    If it was a ray it was a bloody mega one hahahaha

    Fishing near misses that we don't think about! If skippy boy had flicked that knife at a tiny bit different angle, you could have worn it! 😬😬
    Ah well, not your time. 😅
    Big sambo. If it was a ray, must have been an eagle. Way too fast for a smooth, even on 15lb

      @@Saltfix I remember being out in South Australia and we could see the fish on the sounder but they wouldnt take. Caught a few and sent them down as live bait, triggered the fish into biting

    Hiya love your videos. Curious to know what you think of the Temu reel ? I've always assumed they are fake Shimano's ?

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  6 месяцев назад

      I think it’s pretty good . Gave it solid test on a really big fish in an up coming video and it didn’t skip a beat . Drag stayed smooth.
      I’ll do a review vid on it soon as I get to use it a bit more

    For burley we usually go to the bakers and get the old bread and fill the pot with it and few caps of tuna or mullet oil and other old bait we have

      Perfect for snap and the odd sambo or king

    G’day mate ! Iv been watching you for I don’t know how long now and every time I hear your anchor deployed to start fishing I cringe ! The anchor chain rattling over the roller is so dam noisy you wonder why it takes so long for you to get your first bite! I was the same until my friend put me onto the anchor sock ! It doesn’t just stop 99% of chain noises but it protects your boat from being scratched by the chain! I love your channel and I only wish to help out! Keep them coming I’ll be watching 👍🇦🇺🍻

      My mate takes me fishing on his boat, and I am not allowed to speak and he will blow his stack if the lead drops onto the bait board too hard . He swears by full silence / stealth. Always seem to catch more fish on his boat and the hits are more aggressive...

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes I had a anchor sock on when I first got the winch on. it lasted about 3 months before it got ripped up and started to foul the winch up so I had to cut it off.
      But you are right its pretty noisy without it.
