It has never been fair, i came to US since 2013 with my family from Saudi Arabia and then they left usa while i stayed on F-1 student visa, then graduated 4 years after then found my man to get married to, and oh boy my husband had to pay almost 3800 dollars just to get green card without a lawyer since logic works when it comes to proving how much you love your spouse, and I am gay, which i thought it’s going to be unacceptable, but yeah nothing beats the stress of waiting for almost 2 years wondering if i will get deported for waiting on the green card process, thank goodness i have the green card and will get naturalized next year
Those people can get their green card, nothing changes lol , it really does not affect the people who entered legally. The people who would be impacted by this would still have to pay fees, the only exemption they have is that they do not have to leave the country to adjust their status. For example you were a minor that was brought to the US, was caught in transit and was given a deportation order but remained in the country (a child cannot make these decisions). Now as an adult if you marry a US citizen and let’s say have kids, you will HAVE to leave the country and risk the 10 year ban back into the US. This fixes that problem.
@@Gayhappyyeah imagine not having the luxury to come here and stay here with a visa or any legal help. Yeah if I was from a 3rd world county, starving, witnessing horrible crimes or even being a victim, I too would go where the grass is greener on the other side for better opportunities at whatever cost as long as I’m not harming others.
I applied for my child when I was a green card holder . She was 18yrs old . Case Was approved when she was 20yrs and now doumentarily qualified at NVC . Been waiting for over a year for interview date and now she is 21 . I just became a citizen . Will upgrading my case at NVC help expedite and does her turning 21 affect case filed as a child ?
I'm not an Atty but if you enter and overstay, that means you are inspected and you can adjust your status here even without this Parole in the U.S. married to a citizen
Hi I’m daca and I have had it for 12 years. My mom is a citizen now as of 2022, can she petition me without me leaving under this new rule? Please help

@@SanDiegoImmigrationlawyer I can’t afford to pay you to give me consolation. I figured this would be an easy question to answer online. No I don’t have a petition signed for me prior to 2001, no I’m not married. No I don’t have a criminal record

Imagine the ones who tried to enter this country legally, pay tons of fees, had to go to a process and interviews etc.... How fair this system is?

It's crazy
This doesn’t effect the once that came here legally …. It doesn’t take anything from them.

Good morning how about the spouses of us citizens outside the united state if this law passed
Yes exactly what about those of us that have been waiting and paying to have their spouses come in legally. 😡
Sorry. You have to be in the USA.
That’s a smart move. Give them green cards so they can pay taxes legally and add to our economy

Are the adopted son of us citizen meaning F1 family preference category part of this new process?
Another program that leaves my family and millions behind. However, it's the absolutely right thing to do!
