Thanks for all these great videos! I'm learning a lot here and I really appreciate it! Of course, my scythe game group doesn't appreciate me spending my time studying your videos, but what can I say... I love Scythe!
Great video!! Actually one of the best to learn from. I like those tutorials even better than normal game streams. Would be great if You could do a 3-minute tutorial for every combination. Thanks again for the content.
You know what is even better about third strategy? You can park your speed mech in the west forest and swim (triple move you have) worker to polania or saxony village, if unocupied(togawa village also an option). Avoiding early exposure and conflict.
Great strat. Thanks a lot. I think you can maximize the coin gain by 1. You upraded bolster over 2 coins, but you dont actually bolster until you upgrade again (cheapening enlist again). So on that one upgrade without move you could gain 2 coins instead of one.
00:16:50 “go ahead and dismiss this encounter” What does that even mean?!? Question from a beginner who just used the mechless strategy to beat his wife and three kids (roar!!!), what possible advantage is there to NOT taking the encounter - at least gain 2 metal & 1 popularity?
Didn't have time to watch this until now, but - First, great video and I love this format even more than usual. The comments were fun! Secondly, in the mechless strategy you upgrade bolster, but don't actually use it before the next upgrade. And for this next upgrade you use gain coin instead of move as TRA. So basically, if you reverse the order (ie upgrade gain first, then bolster) you end up with one coin more I suppose?
Hi, I just replayed your game against the Automa (Saxony), but I lost. My Encounter Cards were of no use, and I lost the (only) battle from the Automa (against my Character), so he gained the 6th star. He ended up with 85 points, and I with 74 points. Nevertheless a very interesting strategy with very efficient use of resources. I've only played the game a dozen times, and I have still a lot to learn. I will check out your videos to increase my abilities. Thanks
That was great. Sharing strata for bad combos is actually more helpful than the better ones. Are you saying you never go left, even with rus and no Albion? Also, it's way better when you dismiss the encounter so you can play a purer version of the combo.
I mean, go left if you HAVE to. I just feel like swinging for the fences and establishing early board presence gives you a better shot than turtling at the left village.
I just had a multiplayer game as Nordic Agricultural with Albion, Rusviet, and Saxony. ...I couldn't go for the farms due to rus and albion attacks. I eventually built a mine on my mountain and didn't realize that saxony could attack it. I was so board with the game I just quit after getting attacked through my own mine. None of the players cared about popularity either. Difficult to build mechs with Trade/iron card not giving money and no access to farms for the 3 gold on agriculture. I don't mind losing but it was just so boring.
0:40 : Mechless strategy
9:10 : Tunnel village
15:42 : Right village
18:56 : Encounter village
Thanks for all these great videos! I'm learning a lot here and I really appreciate it!

It is incredible to see how many different strategies you can go for with only one combination. Thanks for these great videos!

I think you are right.
Yey thanks man !
If you're going to the right tunnel, at least you're not going to the wrong tunnel. ;)
Haha

Didn’t take the encounter just to show the strategy isn’t encounter dependent. :)
@@FOMOF Roger, keep it generalizable. Solid. This channel gives me the edge vs. my three incorrigible sons and cunning wife.

That’s correct. Thanks for watching.
Oh nice it is cool to see what was assumed to be a last resort strategy working out really well.
thanks for strats a great help please make more like this

But it also depends what you are playing against. If there are other weaker combos at the table, that may affect your decision.
Hi Fomof how you doing? Mr Brazil here! In this video you can even ended one round earlier!! 17 rounds!! Wooowww
Doing well man. Thanks for watching!
cool!

How come you made the monument before the mill?
Hmm, I guess it doesn’t really matter, except that I like to get a building out on that farm quickly in case someone bumps those workers later.

Other players can’t use your Mine by the way. Saxony would need riverwalk.
@@FOMOF oh ok, it's the riverwalk that lets them attack.
On your last strategy you say it's the best but don't you run out of money?
