    Nice video bro! QUESTION, I have a canon 80D but I would like to know if I Can work with a 18-135 lens on that L, please let me know 🙌

      I wouldn't know since I've not owned an 18-135 before. You just got try it out if you already have the lens, camera and gimbal.

    did you have to buy an L bracket to put your camera into vertical position or are you using the same quick release plate that zhiyun has provided? I just ordered this and I'm curious. Thank you!

    • @iamdaneke
      @iamdaneke Год назад +4

      The version of Weebill S I got doesn't come with an L bracket, so I had to get one from a store.
      The L bracket will help you mount vertically and in a situation where you have DSLR, you might find the weight to fall backwards, that's when you need a countrt-weight as shown on the video.
      What camera do you intend to pair the Weebill S with? Please consider subscribing to the channel.

      @@iamdaneke i have the canon sl2 that im trying to connect with the gimbal vertically, do you think it’ll be fine?

    • @iamdaneke
      @iamdaneke Год назад

      @@ShotBySukh I can't say for sure about the SL2 since I have not used that camera body before.
      What you can do is get an L bracket to be able to mount it vertically. And if you find it challenging to balance properly, then you would have to add a counter weight, just as I did with that Canon 80D.
      Another thing you should know is that I later upgraded to an EOS R, and still use a counter weight any time I want to mount the camera vertically.
      Good luck!

    Hi! Can you tell which one L bracket did you buy? It will be really helpful 😊✨

    • @iamdaneke
      @iamdaneke Год назад +1

      The L bracket I bought is unbranded. Any "good" L bracket should work as long as it can allow you mount your camera vertically.

      @@ejiakorgreat2341 What you can do is to add any attachment to the front that can work as counter-balance. When you add a counter balance, you will be able to push the camera forward so that the top won't be touching the pan axis handle.

    I have the weebill s and a canon sl3, I always use the 50mm but I need to shoot vertically. I bought an "L" shoe but I can't stabilize it... I saw in some tutorials that I needed to buy that cage that goes around the camera but still nothing... do you think I'll need the counterweight like you or I don't know how to balance? hahahahaha

    • @iamdaneke
      @iamdaneke 2 года назад +1

      I don't know about the "cage that goes around the camera", but if you already have an L shape and the camera is falling towards backwards (towards you) when you place it on the gimbal, then you need a counter weight to be added in front.
      I hope this helps, but if you provide me with enough information about your situation, maybe I will be able to provide a more tailored-to-you suggestion.

      It is situation such as this that I made this video for. Please look around for something you could use as a counter weight. You can also check equipment stores.
      Good luck!

    • @iamdaneke
      @iamdaneke Год назад

      You should be able to get it from the people that sell photography equipment. Just ask them for an "L mount bracket".
      You can also look it up on Amazon. I don't have a purchase link yet, unfortunately.

    • @iamdaneke
      @iamdaneke Год назад

      No, I can't say for sure since I don't have a weebill 3.
      But you can give it a try to see.
      Point of note is also that the camera body and the lens you have will also affect the balancing.
      If you have any other question, feel free to let me know.
