This show is amazing! Check out the setlist... not one or two rarities, half the show is made of songs that were rarely played! Kurt must have decided that they were going to change things up a little bit before the show... after all, they were playing in Seattle and I'm sure many of the audience members had already heard them play the regular songs... for whatever reason, they came out and played a Nirvana bootleggers dream. This show contains as many or more rarities than any other.
The show starts out with an early version of Aneurysm with alternate lyrics. "Verse Chorus Verse" (labeled as Token Eastern Song) is momentarily interrupted by a guy talking, but it's still the second best recording of the song. Before "Sliver" someone in charge of the club announce that it is 2:00 and all the alcohol has to disappear... 2:00 A.M! Krist thanks everyone for staying instead of slipping out to the 7-11 to buy beer. Probably the band was at it's happiest at this time. They truly sound like they're having a good time, they had the freedom to come up with a bizarre setlist on a whim... it just sounds like they were having a blast.
This disc is one of three discs in "A Season In Hell" part 1, however it is packaged seperately from the other two, so there's a slim chance you can pick it up by itself.
Overall this is an excellent audience recording. Some people might argue that I've graded this disc too highly. This one of Nirvana's greatest recordings... even if it isn't soundboard. If you're buying something for sound quality, get Roma... if you want an once in a lifetime show and don't mind an audience recording, this is one of the best available.
This was Dave Grohl's 9th show with Nirvana. The early Nevermind songs and the Bleach-era songs with Dave's power are the highlight of the show.

Nirvana's live preformences are phenomenal
Arguably one of Nirvana's all time best shows especially since it's early on and the set list is friggin' killer. Thanks for posting.
Theres more to this concert if you havent seen it yet. Search nirvana live at the off ramp. They play Dumb, something in the way and radio friendly unit shifter for the first time. Awesome recording and probably my favorite bootleg.
This is an incomplete version of the off ramp show.
They played Here She Comes Now, damn this is really rare
This is one fantastic show! The early version of Aneursym as the opening song!!, that took some "guts" as Grohl was a new member for what?..about a month or so?...WOW.
More than six years after you released this on YT, and it's only today YT decided to suggest it to me. People who saw this live were so lucky. I had the chance to saw them for the In Utero tour but still, this one is awesome to hear. And the recording quality! Don't forget we're in 1990 and you can listen to this as if you were there. Thanks for sharing this gem.
same goes double for me and it's 2021..wtf? grateful anyhow lol
Really?! When & where did you see them? Care to tell the story?
"Pay To Play" intro EXPLODES like no other song I've EVER heard!.....
i would love to have been at this show. they played SWAP MEET!
Swap meet was one of Kurt's greatest riffs tbh
ALL SMILES! I prefer live, raw concert Nirvana over the studio albums. And I really like that he's enunciating here vs. his soulful mumbling/slurring, esp in Aneurysm goddamn! Thanks for sharing. Now if anyone has a bootleg video of this incredible concert, wouldn't that be juicy. My comments so tame, concert so energetic! DANCE AND SCREAM SCREAM AND DANCE MOOOOVE!
Elena I agree is an incredible concert!! I hope to see this on Video
This version of Aneurysm is so awesome!!!
This has to be nirvana at their best
Agreed. Check out the Paris Canal+ performance. Just saw it a couple days ago. Knocked my kickers off! I was skeptical when I saw the venue & the SUITS, but they left me breathless. THE scream.
An awesome find. Love it!!
U are the best guy that I ever know... Thanx for the CD :D
Thank`s for upload this great show. They are so tight on Dave`s first gig`s, and first tour. Keep up the good work. Ola (Beeswax-78) The Swede
I definitely agree with the sentiment that this was when Nirvana were at their happiest that's in the description. Nirvana were just popular enough that they had a sizable fanbase and recognition for Bleach and the Love Buzz/Big Cheese single but small enough to still be playing small venues where the energy between them and the audience was way more felt and intimate. And I mean, if you just watch Kurt, he goes from powering through his stomach troubles to still provide an energetic performance to just barely managing any movement while playing WITH the absence of the stomach pain an just overall this kind of air of disinterest.
Btw, unrelated, but this version of Mr. Moustache is just amazing
OMG!!< thanks dude...you just made my day ^_^
I used to listen to this rare album more the commercial ones during high school, so glad to find it again.
His scream in Oh the Guilt is insane.
Awesome!
the thing about Dave Grohl, is that he played like his life depended on it
@@aldogonzalez1111 what?
metronome
is this dave?
and he did lol
this is great.
awesome !!!
Love it
This is epic
good load and looking out Tdrive!
You can definitely tell Dave is the more polished and heavy hitting drummer compared to Chad Channing. He plays the songs he wasn't there for the writing process better than the other drummers, dude is a genius on the drums.
Just great
Wow the chorus in mr. Moustache (his voice)
Perfect for me.
omg D7.. so powerful !!!!
These guys were soooo....dedicated, when did they sleep!!?. To pull something like this off would take almost constant practice in such a short time span.
on the floor.
constant and staying out there year after year - just literally a schedule that would kill most others, it was just exhausting watching them
sappy is my favorite. Hapi is one of four jars that held organs of the dead in ancient egypt, by the way
SALUDOS DESDE LIMA PERÚ
dude please please ulpoad it again!!
I would sacrifice half my spleen to back in time to be present for this show
Cool\,,/
In many ways audience recording can be equally as good as soundboard, IMO. The atmosphere is more authentic than in a soundboard when the audience is not so load. I also agree with u that this is one hell of a show and Nirvana was at it's best. After 91 Kurts voice and Enthusiasm is not as good, IMO.
I see you everywhere
I had them both..But now i just own 2&3.. Good to jam again. ThaNKS
btw mY 2&3 had Kurdt on them. Not Krist. Were there different covers?
Mine are goldish..?
NIRVANA para todo sempre !!!
I use to have this bootleg.
And the crowd went wild...
Saludos desde lima perú
Blew -- "This song goes out to ???? Buzz & Ralph????" Did their family members ever come see them in concert? Krist and Kurt had nearby family. Curious what they would have seen in their "boys" performance.
thAnks killer.
Will you post a link for download?
regarding your comment on thanking them for not slipping out to 7-11 lol - for what its worth, there's no law for comping alcohol during off hours, but cannot "sell" lol so that never was a problem for the band..heh SAPPY - meltzzzz
have as you please upload donwload for me to download again link is broken att grateful thanks
Oh , the guilt foi fenomenal
