Fair play to Garry Dennis for giving him the info. Shame that so many anglers these days aren’t willing to share knowledge
If I’m on a water that I won’t be fishing for a few weeks and or a lake I know like the back of my hand I’ll give info. However if I’m on a lake that’s difficult and I have found something that works, I will not give you the info until I’ve caught my target fish. I’d say that’s fair enough

it great to say find the caro first and move swims unfort most people can't do that on day ticket carp waters as most of the time you have to book your peg well in advance and you only allowed to fish your peg

“No privileges” yet you turn up to the lake set up in an unabated swim which you no nothing about then see a guy catch a 40 go over to him he then says he’s leaving tells you we’re he was fishing to and how many wraps it is and you then jump in the pre baited swim with all the knowledge of it and catch one. Kind of defeated the object of the title there 🤔
I dont think local knowledge is a privilege however he 'may' have been more forthcoming to Darrell with the info than to you or I but he could just have been that sort of guy.
End of the day anyone could have done what Darrel did, he got it right because he’s a top angler, this vid stuck to the ‘ no privileges’ in my opinion
@@samcaton3924 whole point of this was to turn up to a lake and catch without knowing much about it or having any advantages and he just jumps in someone elses swim with all the information he needs, all he need to do was cast in the swim and wait.
