- Deuce Call It Love. 1995 single charting at #11 in the UK in February 1995, #14 in Ireland, and #199 in Australia in April 1995. From the album 'On the Loose'. Tony Mortimer from East 17 makes a cameo appearance in the video. Official music video HQ call it love if you want I can see does it have to be here and now if you want can't you see why is it always here and now. ohnoitisnathan
This takes me back to be being 12 years old singing this in my room. Im now 40 and still love the song.
Why has nobody remixed this for the 2020s!!!!

Leave that song as it is.@@laurabevis5
@@michaelmontano4280 I wasn’t suggesting they do it, just surprised it hasn’t been picked up given half the songs I hear these days are remixes or sampling oldies
Tune!
The forerunners to Steps (Let's be honest) who really deserved to be bigger.
The mid 90's was tough for 'pure' pop groups. Brit Pop changed the landscape until the Spice Girls exploded the bubble!
If Deuce came along in 1997 rather than 1995 - it could've been a lot different.
you had the venagaboys you had steps you had scooch you had aqua!
but deuce were the most underated dance act ever!
mix a bit of pop and dance together and you get real cool tracks like this!
i love this band, and i still some of there cds at home! and the remixes are fantastic.
i wonder what happened to them all!
deuce forever xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Same producers as East 17
Such a under rated tune & look at what we have to put up with today.
EuroMusicFreak&Beyond I'm goinna leave your likes at 22 cuz I like that number and cuz I'm 22.
I was 4 when this came out. I’m now 30, and can still remember every single word.
I was 16 when it came out and I really hated this style of music at the time because I was a big 80s fan and this was deliberately trying to be anti-80s. But now I love it.
Think it was 13! 😂. Really such a memorable song though and Pre-Steps era
Hmmmm...I'm having a cheesy 90s music marathon today. I actually liked these guys. Good to hear this again...I'd completely forgotten about them.
I know what you mean I'm 47 now i still love this song
1995 Omg I Was 15 😲😲 Don't Get Songs Like This Anymore Xx
I was 19 lol.. your right a lot of todays music is not so good too be honest
95 was the best for music over the world nowadays its shite music
Deuce's best single, for me.
Year 1995 was the best season of dance music. Fantastic song
This is questionable.
What other dance songs from that time do you like? I'm enjoyin the sound and might discover something new
1997 and 1999 were also good , from 2005 onwards music went downhill I think
1993 - 1995 was the era of edm and eurodance fantastic times
Lisa ( the brunette) was married to Ant of Ant n Dec. She’s a rich Lady now BUT she’s still working doing make up a on strictly. She was highly praised for her work in 2019 , gud on ya gel x
Use to complete against her in freestyle disco dancing championships meet her years later when she was handing out awards at a comp she hit the big time 30 million pay off from ant not bad for a girl from a oxford council estate
I can't believe this was from 1995! That was friggin' 20 years ago! CRAZY!
25 now!! 😱🙈
27 now 👍
29 years ago now!! 🤯
and in year 213542353425 it will be 213542353406 years ago omg
I only turned 16 in August 1995, this takes me back to the tail end of my school days! This would certainly put (most of) todays 🗑️ to complete and utter shame IMHO!
Ye very true, I was 14, were does the time go, 😁
Get a fucking grip of yasen
I loved this. I was 8 when it came out and I could never stop dancing to it
Takes me back to when I was 18... the great old days
I’ve been looking for this song for years. That year I was at uni and a friend and I visited Spain and this song was constantly played in discos.
2wo Turds and the shy and retiring Tom Watkins, along with big Tone from East17 in this video.
I met Paul once in a coffee shop in Notting Hill, back in the 90’s around the time this came out. Nice chap.
Brilliant song. Brilliant music. Bring back the 90's! :D
Really underrated song - I still have the 7 inch picture disc of this!
God I remeber when my ex use to give me a ton of music from his travels around the world. I loved this song when I was 18yrs old and first heard it. So young and impressionable..lol
I remember buying the 7" pic disc (still got it) and it was such a catchy piece of simplistic power pop. Of course their follow up "I Need You" should have represented UK at Eurovision in 95!
Ah! I miss this music 💓 They sound like Steps. They were good. 90s 👍
30!!!!! Year's old now. Was in the UK top 40 in January 1995.
Was trying to remember the name of this songs for ages, finally stumbled across it.. happy days, makes me feel old though :-(
possibly the most underrated tune from the 90s. absolutely brilliant pop track that would've been huge if it was recorded by a more serious or established artist / group.... musically it was quite far ahead of its time really, the backing track was borderline hard house / hard trance for the time it was made, but sadly fell into that category of cheesy eurodance / hi-NRG.
JX did a remix of it on the single, I'm sure a few other big dance names were on it too. suprised Tony De Vit never did one.
This song just never ages and sounds just as good today.
Such a shame it wasn't a massive hit, although it definitely is one of the tracks that would make up the soundtrack to my early teens.
If you look closely, you can see Tony Mortimer from East 17 making a cameo, as well as the backing dancers from 2Third3 (incidentally were part of the same management company)
You are not a real woman, are you?
I love the outfits in the background that the people are wearing!
I was in love with Kelly in '95!!!
Awwww ..great memories n a great song! I bought all their cd singles! Love this ..and the guy does have a great voice as well sas the girl. The blonde guy loks like Stephen Gately a lot. Thanks for taking me right back to my 90s !!
I have been singing this song today and had to listen to it! Great tune from the '90's and I agree with the comments this band was very underrated! Lisa, incidently, is now married to Ant McPartlin
One of the best gold eurodance classics 90's is all times
So glad to find this here! Even Shazam doesn't know this tune.
I just bought The Best Dance Album In The World... Ever! Part 5, My mum used to play it at parties and they were the best memories of my childhook. Been tubing some of the old tunes and now I can't wait for it to arrive! We used to have the album on cassette tape and If anyone loves tunes like this, you gotta check this album out. I got it for 1.75 on Amazon. Brilliant.
ha i loved this song remember buying this record n played it all the time. the girl with the short black hair is now married to Anthony McPartlin (from Ant n Dec)
who's listen this masterpiece in 2020?
me!🙂
New Year 2021.
What a year we've had... Need a trip down the memory lane 🎉😊#90's
2021!
Aaaah, Kelly O'Keefe - my first crush!! This track is an utter classic and gives me such happy memories of growing up in the 90's when the charts were bouncing with the best dance-pop and eurodance :)
Miss the 90's music. I was born 89 but as a youngems mum used to crank the music in the car and at home whilst cleaning lol all of the greats of the 90's reminds me of her.
great tune,,great times,,miss the 90s badly
Takes me back to early 95.
This is like Steps on ecstasy pills raiding a Teletubbies studio
I bought this on single as a kid, lol
15 years on and i still find this song strangely good.lol
I cant believe it this song missed the top10 in the uk😔
The babies in the video are now older than the members of Deuce in 95. Let that sink in!
Well ..duh, it's a music video from the 90's .. Are we expected to believe they didn't age ?
Omg had this on tape used to make up dances around the house lol
Thank you! I fancied him back in the day and still do now!
Always great to hear this song.
This track has got Tony all over it! Forgot how catchy it is!
Perfect 90’s pop
Cameos in this video; Two members of Two Thirds (who Tom Watkins managed) Tom Watkins holding a baby, and Tony Mortimer from East 17 who Tom Watkins managed. Tom Watkins also managed Deuce.
Managed ? Or groomed
Is there a reason why Lee from 2wo Third3 wasn't in the video yet Danny & Victor were?
@@Vicki-stfcbecause that's 2/3 of the group.
loved this
I have to share the love for this. I was obsessed with this song and band during my G.C.S.E.s! (Oops :-/ ). So love them to do a comeback gig! Kitsch Goes Klassic! ;-) X
i used to love this song when i was little lol
1:17 East 17's Tony Mortimer making a cameo.
ShaiyaStudios Didn't he produce/manage/discover or something Deuce?
Outrageously good spot
Super!
Yeah still gets me 🙏🙏
This needed to be on invincible best music produced by Deuce damn this is a real thowback to 90s music. Deuce keep them hits man. Hope we can get more choreography for the dance shiz maybe on like best of me get dancers. Bad attitude would look great with this group dancing they have good talent. 👍
YOU are just too BOLD .
i can see where the inspiration for Steps came about.
Was thinking the same
Yeah said it at the time. DEUCE were better x
The tragedy video was such a copy of on the bible
@@asbocazbo oh…. Disagree there hahahaha
@@unidan82 think in terms of minor and major, Steps was too happy melody wise for me.
This is a banger ! Don't care what anyone says! 2019 and loving it ! ✌🏻️
2021 & I'm still loving it
July 2021, amazing band, sweethearts xxxxxx
Not heard this in years
One of my favourite songs of all time 😁❤
Do you get out much?
Lol 😂 Alrhough I suspect he was being heavily sarcastic!
Am.azing song, funtastic music, i don't have words to describe it, awesome
Cool song & video! ))
Loved Duece!! Classic pop
Love this song, and the album rocks to
I also think the group's outfits are pretty neat too!
very underrated band
I like eurodance a lot, don't think is cheesy at all.
And yeah! I've been looking for this tune for maybe ten years by now -I had it recorded on a really old cassette tape-, and at last I've got it!
I agree it's the most underrated 90s dance music song, definitely.
January 2022 xxxxxx amazing music great people
I’ve loved the song for years but never seen the video. What’s with the babies lol - I know “stop acting like a child” is in the lyric but I think they took the idea a bit far lol
It just goes to show how true the phrase "right time right place" is. Loved Deuce but when they hit in '95 they fizzled very quickly. Three years later along come Steps, virtually the same, and they are massive!
The look on Tom's face when he's holding the baby! 😂
Absolute banger !
I was only 10...
Wooo, I'm young! :D
Andy B me too
My era 1990s much better back then
Not heard this for ages
Как же мне светленькая солистка нравилась. Да и сейчас тоже.
GREAT BAND
I didn't realise Tony Mortimer was in this video. I know East 17 & Deuce were both managed by former Bros manager Tom Watkins (I think that was his name?) & I see he was in the video too.
YEAH , Ignore the paedophilia being flashed at us
What a brilliant song! I loved I Need You too. They were ace, and kind of a precursor to Steps.... :)
It's my nephew lee holmes, and paul holmes is my cousin in the band :P
Jordan Kelsall Are you serious?
They should have been massive, and then Steps came along a few years later more or less same sort of thing and were massive
この曲も好きだけど「On The Bible」 や「I Need You」「I Was Wrong」「Rumours」も名曲だと思う😊
青春時代に聴いてた歌です
The blonde… well you just WOULD
The pants are hot
The blonde guy went onto act, remember this song and still have it on an old Now album, still didn't realise he was Alex in the early dream team series but turned up in Lost and Fringe.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! It's been ages since I've heard this. Wobbled around many a dance floor to this track! I always thought this was a young Tony Mortimer. Were the guys from TwoThirds in it too?
great words
Loved this song very catchy . Video shite though lol . But I fucking loved it .
Couldn't pull a bird then or now great tune though, rocky 4 rate film
This is still a beat in 2019💕💔💖
Tom Watkins - manager of all those bands is in here too, one of the old guys with the yellow hat on. Great song.
why do they have little babys in the video anyway?
I read at the time they were so poorly treated financially one of them had to take a part-time job in a cinema and one had to sign on down the job centre in disguise. At the same time when they were called upon to do a photo shoot or Smash Hits interview having to look like they were living the dream they were fighting over tins of beans, poor sods. Music business be ashamed!
Unless you're a successful, well established artist and can pretty much call the shots, own the music copyright or release through your own publishing company/record label, the record companies just crap all over you. They don't care as long as they get their money's worth. It's really hard for the artists.
@@Sunset_City_Blues They got the wrong people in power.
@Best DJ Releases Huh! I guess I'm not the first person you heard that from.
@Best DJ Releases Clock? I never heard of them before are they another group?
This video screams paedophilia
Спасибо за хорошую песню
Basically, Deuce were an early version of "Steps".
The dark-haired girl is married to Ant of Ant and Dec.
This was a slightly weird period for pop music in the UK, although I've always liked this song very much.
Andy JS slightly better than today’s shower of shite
gosh went seeing them at gay pride imn manchester yr after, great memories
