Greetings, indeed it was an adventure. The train ride was comfortable, reliable, and we met some amazing people. Stay tuned for the second part of the adventure, the falls are amazing.
I went to Erewan last June just before Thailand pass was lifted , I was so happy I did it then rather than endure all the crowds we basically passed 30 -40 people the whole day .
Hi John, that sounds like a great time to travel and experience Thailand without the crowds. Things are getting back to normal here from what we can tell, but there is a long way to go. Comparing our experience to the pre-pandemic trip we took, we would say it is about 60-65%
Thanks for posting the video. I'll be taking the same train to Kanchanaburi next week but am planning to board the train at Taling Chan, the station after Thonburi. Would it be easy for me to find a seat on the train if I board at the second station? Thanks
Greetings and welcome to the channel. From our experience that should not be an issue, the train was about 1/2 full when we travelled. If you get a chance, go to the very back of the train and enjoy the view off the back of the train.
I’d be curious to know what one of those cauliflower are worth at the market vs our $12 usd here in Bermuda. Normal price is around 4.50$usd but they must have had a “special” that day lol….😅
We found Cauliflower at a supermarket yesterday priced at 89 baht per KG. Assuming that the average head of cauliflower is 850g, that would mean that 1 head of cauliflower would cost about 75 baht, or $3 CAD ($2.25 USD). I hope that you REALLY enjoyed your $12 cauliflower a LOT :D
Love to know you guys happy with Thai train and enjoy exploring Kanchanaburi , have missed the mountain view there so much , laid back and stay safe..(anyway Pa Tong Ko would not let u down= hot one is always good)..
The train is amazing, efficient, and a pleasure to ride. We will definitely be using it again to explore Thailand more. Thank you for the comment, be safe and be well.
What a great adventure!
