This is why GSP is such a wonderful person. How many fighters out there can honestly and openly admit to their fears? He's just great. This is why I relate to him so much.

Back in the summer of 1978 I met Randy "Macho Man" Savage quite unexpectedly in eastern Canada. I idolized the Macho Man in his early wrestling years so to actually meet him was unbelievable. He and another gentleman were going into a small town motel swimming and I happened to be walking by. Knowing I'd never get this chance again I summoned the courage to walk over to him and ask for his autograph. He was the "bad guy" of the local wrestling back then so I was very nervous. I was only 17. He was still standing beside his van when I walked up. He was completely different than the persona he used in wrestling. I got the autograph, a moment to express my admiration, he shook my hand, and wished me well. My heart broke when he died. Great experience and still regard it as the best celebrity moment of my life even though I've met many other celebrities.
