@@mcspike5003 Well, if you read what he wrote in his Scene Report, he knew that the next intersection was bustling, he saw the opportunity to PIT and had to take it. When he saw the Pickup, he didn't stop his patrol vehicle but continued to push them into the ditch to avoid an accident. With the Troopers Blue Lights and Sirens, the truck should've begun slowing down in advanced anyway. There wasn't a 10-50 because the Trooper was aware of the pickup and did extra to ensure the crash didn't occur.

And he probably would have only received a citation for driving without a licence, in addition to whatever act drew the cop’s attention, and a couple of hundred in fines. Some judges might even waive the driving without a licence if they get a licence within a certain time frame. It’s actually quite common to do this in Australia, New Zealand and several European countries. It saves a lot of court time, and actually encourages people to comply.

Can you imagine fleeing in someone else's car and then taking none of the blame when the car gets damaged. He was driving reckless both before and after getting pulled over, yet he didn't think he did anything wrong. It's 100% your fault.
    1. You drive normal, you don't get pulled over. You say that you've had problems before, so this should be common sense by now.
    2. You pull over and take the tickets. Zero risk to the car and no jail time
    3. You do 110 MPH and the officer is right behind you. Give up and take the minimal jail time

@ipawilzon what video did you watch he did not pass another car and he was driving the pace of the other vehicles. When pitted he was behind another car doing the speed limit. So for you to make an accusation when the officer did not have his GPS to show how fast he was doing so you have no idea how fast the kid was doing. So if the pit would have killed the person in the other truck you would justify that to right. 2 wrongs don't make a right and until you have served to protect you will have know idea what I am talking about. There's responsibilities and police use this as a game there are safer ways to get the job done. Yes the kid fled and yes he should be punished but not by putting others lives in danger but it's OK as long as it's not your family in harms way right!!!!
