I cannot fathom the lack of awareness you have to have to run from GSP thinking they are not going to chase and catch you, one way or another. Especially a boy from Georgia.
Best pay attention to the color of the police cars and those uniforms, folks. Because GSP doesn’t need permission to pursue, they already have it and will. And they don’t need permission to P.I.T., they already have it and will. And they are encouraged to P.I.T. as soon as possible because the longer a chase goes on, the longer the risk to the public. Anyone who watches GSP pursuit videos certainly knows what I’m talking about. Heck, include ASP as well.
All true, but most of the ones I’ve watched the officer has made sure there wasn’t oncoming traffic when putting the left rear. Lucky as hell he did go head on with that pickup. This one was poorly executed. Got very lucky
@@stewartleec My initial reaction was the same, however I wonder if based on his experience, he was confident the truck wouldn't be impacted (literally). I'd be interested to know the thought process. 🇺🇸

These people really are unredeemable. Not only the victim complex but also the way he immediately blames the trooper for something he caused. I wish we start holding families and communities accountable for raising these people with such a mindset.
The back of the trooper's car jerks over to the left right as the pick up gets close - I think the truck hit the back of the trooper's car, and pushed it over.
@@chadmark88 I wondered about that clockwise movement too but unless it was redacted, it would seem a collision with an innocent bystander (or would that be "bydriver"? 🤔😁) would've been documented in the report. 🤔 🇺🇸
I can't believe he did that pit with a pickup coming in the oncoming lane. That could have gotten an innocent motorist and passenger(s) killed. Unacceptable.
He pitted because the suspect almost rear ended the car turning out. He was a danger already, doing 100+ is reckless abandon. You’re going to kill yourself or someone else going that fast. While risky the pit was definitely calculated. I say well done.
Agreed it was risky but if you read the report it stated they were approaching a busy intersection so the PIT was done before the idiot t-boned someone. I wouldn't want to have to make that decision but that PIT may have saved someone's life.
Turns a simple traffic citation, worst case a misdemeanor, to full felony and get his moms car destroyed in the process. The victim mentality in this is outstanding. Everything that happened isnt his fault at all. Just thinks he can do whatever he wants with zero consequence.
@@haydn-db8zYou say that, but if he didn’t and the perp collided with an oncoming car 20 seconds later, killing them, everyone would be screaming “why didn’t he pit when he had the chance?!?”
Tell you what, that Trooper got lucky. PIT on a hill into incoming traffic. That white pickup saw his life flash before his eyes. Remember that video where the PIT was into another oncoming vehicle? The officer's vehicle, the oncoming, and the perp all almost died. Tunnel vision is a real thing.
Yea that pit was risky but it worked. The camera could also make distance and stuff look a little skewed, so it might look like they almost hit when really he was no closer than 30ft away, besides they were going like 35mph a car can stop from that speed on like 15ft.
I had both parents, grandparents, great-grandparents plus aunts, uncles and grown cousins making sure we were raised properly. My older brother found out first hand what it's like to have the family come down on you when he did what he did on an elementary school field trip. He still thinks he knows everything...
Holy shit that was so unsafe. Thank God the white F-150 was paying attention. Cops aren't supposed to pit with oncoming traffic. Could've been so much worse for everyone involved.
Can you imagine fleeing in someone else's car and then taking none of the blame when the car gets damaged. He was driving reckless both before and after getting pulled over, yet he didn't think he did anything wrong. It's 100% your fault. 1. You drive normal, you don't get pulled over. You say that you've had problems before, so this should be common sense by now. 2. You pull over and take the tickets. Zero risk to the car and no jail time 3. You do 110 MPH and the officer is right behind you. Give up and take the minimal jail time Hopefully the mom is smart enough to realize her son is 100% at fault here and she doesn't put false thoughts in his head that he didn't do anything wrong.
Do you honestly think that young man would be acting like that if he had any home training? Come on. He is the epitome of entitlement. He doesn’t think he did anything wrong. It’s the troopers fault… He didn’t get into that mentality over night.
Right. And some of them got out to gawk. Do these morons know that that suspect could have run over and hijacked their cars and driven off? Think, people, think!!
GSP has to make up for all of Midwest Safety's videos where they terminate pursuit if a suspect gets above 60mph. Glad some departments still care about cleaning up the streets.
Reminds me of a conversation I had with my mom when I was 6 years old: “Mom… you always get me in trouble. -no son, you always get yourself into trouble.” This guy is 17
"I didn't know what else to do" The thought of telling the truth and taking responsibility for his actions apparently never occurred to him as an option.
he exceeded 110 mph.... putting TONS of innocent civilians in danger and still tries to put it on the cop... like really does he think ppl just have the option to drive off?? jfc... we're doomed.
@ipawilzon what video did you watch he did not pass another car and he was driving the pace of the other vehicles. When pitted he was behind another car doing the speed limit. So for you to make an accusation when the officer did not have his GPS to show how fast he was doing so you have no idea how fast the kid was doing. So if the pit would have killed the person in the other truck you would justify that to right. 2 wrongs don't make a right and until you have served to protect you will have know idea what I am talking about. There's responsibilities and police use this as a game there are safer ways to get the job done. Yes the kid fled and yes he should be punished but not by putting others lives in danger but it's OK as long as it's not your family in harms way right!!!!
Guy in the truck could have seen the lights way before they got close that’s why your supposed to stop and pull over even it they are in the other lane 🤦🏼♂️
I didn't want to go to jail so I did something that gave them no choice but to take me to jail. Bruh...why did you have to do that? All i did was flee from you at 110+ mph through a residential area. You're going to have to pay for this damage that i am in no way responsible for due to fleeing at 110+ mph.
Honestly this is probably the less risky pit I have seen, when you're highly trained and don't second guess yourself then it works out great, overall good pit.

100%. Cop was way too emotional in this situation and did not assess the risks around him. Loads of other divers were at risk of being hit.
They weren’t going too fast and I’m sure the truck saw the emergency lights. Definitely was risky tho

Zero risk to the car and no jail time
3. You do 110 MPH and the officer is right behind you. Give up and take the minimal jail time
