We were hoping to add High Res videos on the app, potentially movies/short films in the future, do you think that is possible? I saw you added videos to the programs, perhaps you have an answer! Great video quick question how would somebody find your app in the store is it just as simple as typing in the name of your app and it shows up?
Greetings Emily. I actually use the FREE Spaces App for our members. However, I was thinking of adding the branded app...but other than getting on the Apple or Google store...what are the benefits? Also how did you get that dedicated video tab...i use RUclips for my videos but not sure how to get them on the app...i can in the groups but not a special tab in app.
Somehow I missed this comment, so sorry! The benefits of the branded app would be the listing in Google and Apple as you stated as well as a fully branded experience for your user.
In regards to the video tab, I have Wix channels set up in Wix Video and then sync my RUclips playlists as channels. Then, in the app, I made a page listing those channels.

Can members/participants log scores or upload videos if they are in a program that can be seen by others in the same program?
Hey! Thanks! If you attach a group to the course you can have a community page (similar to a Facebook group) for all program members. Hope that helps!

My name is Emily too :) I am looking at this app to drive members to my " networking platform " then as i was browsing through wix templates i came across a template that had integrated commmunities and like yours groups. I WANT THIS! lol. I want my website users to be able to sign up and use this group to sell their products. I know this app and template can do that. Thanks so much for the info. I'll keep on plugging away :)

Do you know if we will own our branded app in the app store? I am trying to find out if i will have an option start now in wix and move to custom code later and retain our name and continue to own the app in the app store. Please help

My main concern is the lack of functional tools that apple is allowing for wix customers which degrades sale potential in the U.S.A at least
Hi there! There is a way to create a fairly seamless workaround in the app for subscription style purchases. II recommend adding a link to your payment page in your app. Should work great! Let me know if it works or doesn't work for you.
How do you add a video in the app? when I create a new onliv=ne course it doesn't give me the option

If you build the course in the Wix Online Program App you can add videos there that will show up on the app. You can also add videos to certain pages on the app while building the app using the Wix Owner app. Hope that helps! :)

Great question! I know that I was not able to set up the option to sell a membership via the app, however, I'm not sure about selling products. I'll research and do an updated video with my findings - stay tuned!
Hello again, I wanted to let you know that I am currently working on an app that sells physical products and it looks like it will work on Apple and Google! I will keep you posted. Also, the price of the Wix is $169 a month.

This is not the definition of an app. The design options are fixed.
You are right in that the design options are fixed in this app set up. However, this app I created works, is available in the App Store and is a great asset for this client.This Wix app design tool does use a template which makes it a cheaper option than hiring a custom app build which can cost upwards of $10,000.

It's default package name is "com.wix.branded.dev". Do they change this package name to your preferred once you have purchased?
