Alt as a platform not bad (when used correctly) but “Alt value” price can be such a burden when you have stubborn buyers/sellers who don’t want to use the actual data and just want to use that number
@pokebb yeah I don't like it when people get too desdset on a specific number but they're best dealt with utilizing the shortcomings against them. Like one that I showed 😆. Buying all lv xs at 80% alt value lol
When you have multiples of the same card like you have with some of these, do you make multiple listings? Or one listing that gets updated with the next card every time one sells?
does your insurance only cover if it goes to your PO box? jw bc way you mentioned it sounded like maybe it wouldn't apply if it were being sent to another address (i.e. your house), assuming you still have collectinsure as well?
Do you only buy stuff over $250? Like I currently have 25 cards at psa.. but they are more in the 50-150$ range in value for each card. I’m assuming that’s not worth your time?
@PMTCards it's worth the time but only at the right price. When you're talking $50 cards that $5 shipping is now 10 % of their value so the offer would have to go down substantially. I also have way too many of these offered all the time and I know I'm not as competitive on them so I usually just recommend people go elsewhere. If/when I get streaming up and running though I'd likely start buying those a bit more often and a bit more competitively
I don't, sorry. Sealed its pretty much just pokemon. I could consign through pwcc magic sealed if interested but as far as I know that doesn't do super well.
Thinking about how seller made out in this deal…. 80% is fair. No problems with that. Could a person reasonably collect all those cards in a PSA 10, sell them for $10k and make a respectable margin? Was the sale under duress? Did the seller appear satisfied? Not being critical. Just doing some self reflection. Maybe some recalibration
That some people question it is wild to me lol. People who have never sold surely. 80% cash equivalent no 1099, guaranteed no hassle . 🤷♂️ some people don't like selling and the sourcing and grading often pays a better hourly
wot hoppens if this modern shit tanks b4 u can flip it 🤔🤔 or at least before it tanks more than the market price less ebay fees since there is no more vault tendies as a cushion 🤣🤣
Yeah man idk.. eBay is 13% fees plus .30 cents per transaction. Plus shipping.. you’re getting close to 80-85% plus you have to sell each one individually. And that’s if you don’t do any % for promoting it. Once you start going under 80% it gets wonky.. but some people willing to do that for “cash” to avoid taxes, etc (not saying that’s okay, just saying people def do deal in cash to avoid claiming all taxes).
Awesome!
Making them big boy deals! 🔥🔥
Congrats on the big sale Brad!
👀
I’ll circle back when there are more out of pocket comments!
🚀
Dan use all that money you have and get an HD CAMERA 😂
This was 1080p! I think it was more of a lighting issue 🤷♂️
lol
Some very popular cards there
Big numbers big species

The latter usually. Or if it's sub 200 bucks I do a stock photo with the multi qty all at once
@@KetchumAllCollectibles Gotcha thank you
Awesome video
Thanks!

I have collectinsure it covers going to me any pwcc vault, any sales sending to my buyers, covers going to me at my house or po box
You buy binder collections? I have my vintage Japanese binders
Mostly looking for high end slabs and sealed. I buy some raw but like to buy mostly high end collections or qty of highly popular promos

Any chance you buy secret lairs from magic? Trying to get out of sealed magic for pokemon
Thanks

@@KetchumAllCollectibles no worries at all and i appreciate it

Could you take a collection from the UK?
Yep I buy from intl folks all the time. My insurance also covers the inbound shipments fully if signature is required at delivery .
Money seekers.
I don't understand the comment lol. Me as the buyer? The seller? 🤷♂️

People just love cutting themselves short. Lol
? Selling for 80% no hassle is cutting short?

most people buy at 70% nowadays so 80% is more than fair since selling on ebay yourself has risks and nets around 85%
@@PMTCardsthat’s also if you can sell at full market value and in a reasonable amount of time to justify waiting for that full market value.
