At least with Olympus and the pride lands, you get to actually explore those extensively with this arendelle level. However, you don't get the full scope of the movie. Hell you don't even actually get to go into arendelle. You're just in the mountains the whole entire freaking time. You don't even start at the very beginning of where the movie actually starts, which would have made a hell of a lot more sense. You're just treated to flashbacks and some singing b******* that actually happens. Not only that but you're actually treated the whole. Let It Go thing and it's stupid as hell. No I definitely take the pride lands and Olympus every time over this arendelle crap. Not only that, but at least with Olympus and the pride lands, the characters were at least engaging and they engaged you. They actually made you feel like you were in that world in real life with arendelle it kind of felt lackluster. It really felt like the characters had no idea what the hell they were doing. A lot of that was restriction because Disney wanted to follow the plot of the movie but it didn't really follow it. The plot of the movie to a t because it literally only followed the part with the freaking warrior in the snow for about half a freaking. Second they don't show you the town. They don't show you the lead up to why she's going on to the ice. We know that based off the movie, but it still would have been nice to kind of see Sora engage with that a little bit. It was a nice world and it could have been so much better is all I'm saying that's like same with the Kingdom of Corona. That movie was excellent and unfortunately we didn't really get to do much with it. I mean had The creator of Kingdom hearts actually been given the freedom to do with the world what he wanted. We could have actually had a better story laid out before Kingdom of Corona and arendelle instead. We got these bleak ass worlds. I mean they weren't all all that bleak. There was a lot of moments where that was fun but there were other instances where just kind of dragged on in one area because it felt like they were lacking in others. Parts of those two worlds felt long as hell and drained you of anything and others is just wasn't anything at all to it
How do you think I felt? This was the first KH game I ever played and didn't know much about Chain of Memories at the time, though I could immediately tell that both Larxene and Marluxia had some form of history with Sora and Co. (In spite of me being all too happy to race past cutscenes during my first playthrough.)
I like how Sora doesn't even think to go into town to check on the citizens through this whole world. Would've made a good opportunity to at least meet Hans once.
Look I can understand everyone’s opinions and hatred that Arendelle was the weakest Disney world in _Kingdom Hearts III_ which I can agree with due to the restrictions Disney put on and the lack of interactions with the cast compared to the _Tangled_ world. However in my unpopular opinion, I surprisingly enjoyed this world more than Kingdom of Corona. Yes the world had its problems and its flaws (Climbing the Mountain and being blown off from the mountain thrice, The restrictions Disney put on the world to Nomura and his team, SDG being treated as strangers to the Frozen characters, etc..) however their are a couple of good things the world had: *The majority of the cast reprising their roles from the film (especially Idina Menzel as Elsa) which is a surprise cause when compared with the other Disney worlds in _Kingdom Hearts III_ and in previous installments then tend to get 1-2 or around 3-6 of the original actors to come back but the other half are sound-alike actors. Deep Space based on _Lilo & Stitch_ from _Birth By Sleep_ was also another world that brought most of the original voice actors back. *The Snow looking like Actual Snow compared to the snow areas of Land of Dragons and Christmas Town in KH2. *Pre-Rendered cutscene of “Let it Go” * the Ice Wolf boss at the end of the world (Sköll) *The Music for this world *Larxene’s Ice Labyrinth (depending on how you view of the area). *Marshmallow as a Party Member In the later half of the world. *Getting the Crystal Snow Keyblade which has the transformation of Blizzard claws and Blizzard Blades. Hope that once the world returns in a future game and adapts the events of the sequel, _Frozen II_ Disney and the people who worked on the movie would be less restrictive than how they were in KH3.
@@cillbipher2613Everyone’s a critic and to each their own, but compared to the other Disney worlds in KH3, this and The Caribbean were one of the few Disney worlds with pre-rendered cutscenes and the visuals to the pre-rendered cutscenes from Arendellle and The Caribbean to the in-game cutscenes are complete night and day.
I like your enthousiasm for the world; I've seen some other people like it a lot too. Personally, I'm more a fan of the movie than the world, mostly cuz it feels so... lazy? There's clearly a lot of work put into it, but when feeling though it myself, the feeling it's botched and patched together overrule most pf the enjoyment i get out of it. Compared to Kingdom of Corona, Arendelle feels empty, and the story feels so much less compelling. That last part for me is crucial, as I'm a huge fan of Larxene and 'inner struggles' as a theme... Wall of text aside, Larxene building ice palaces that were clearly mapped out to be Elsa's palace, the tone never reaching a logical conclusion (the point of the movie is not really focused on in KH III), and random glimpses of characters and scenes we already kinda know... it's unfortunate. I really wouldve loved to see Elsa struggling with the darkness more, maybe accidentally creating a giant wolf-like heartless earlier on to represent her inability to go back home by letting it stalk her, chasing her into the mountains, letting Elsa's sister play a bigger role or actually filling the palace with stort stuff. Rant over, good take tho
@@HideSeekDie To each their own although on your statements for Kingdom of Corona, I honestly prefer the movie, _Tangled_ more than the World IMHO and frankly the second and third acts of Corona it did went down hill and became bottom of the barrel with how linear and preachy the world felt. Not to mention Sora, Donald and Goofy acted as bystanders in the later half of Kingdom of Corona, but I did enjoy the first act of Kingdom of Corona and Sora’s friendship with Rapunzel.
@@cillbipher2613 I'd say the positive is that Square actually animated it better than Disney did. In the movie, there was an animation mistake at one point during the song where Elsa's hair clips through he shoulder. (Don't know if the mistake made it to the Blu-ray release or not.) Square fixed that.
I still find it ot funny that Larxene is officially labeled as a ninja of the organization, even though just about everything of her personality says far from the contrary. Also i been meaning to say this since they first met Marluxia but it kinda irks me hiw well Namine wiped their memories clean of these two. Like i get that's the point and this is what they wnated, but i still kinda expected some kind reaction of them feeling like they met them before, especially since they went out of their way to control and later kill him.
Elsa'a powers might be a reference to Naminé's. But what if they also predict the possibility of Sora's Nortifcation in 4 ? Perhaps Sora will be more successful than the other Vessels in keeping control.
Why would Sora become Xehanort's vessel again, for one? Last I checked, the Master of Masters doesn't really care for that kind of stuff. For two, no, Namine specifically had power over Sora's memories and the memories of those connected to him.
@@dragonbornexpress5650because someone informed me the loss of Sora's connection to Pooh stems from leftovers of Xehanort inside him. Plus, Xehanort said he wanted to live 14 lives. 13 to complete his plan. An extra one to see the world he'd bring about. At first I thought he was gonna reincarnate in a way similar to Stretzilia's, but the more I think about it, the less sense it makes.
@JabamiLain. The first thing is specifically from the Journal in KH3, albeit it's not really the leftovers of Xehanort: More just almost falling to darkness. (Leftovers would imply that Xehanort had successfully gotten his heart into Sora, which Lea stopped.) As for the fourteen lives thing, he settles on 12 at first before going to 13, and then here's the exact quote. "Scratch that. One more to explore the new world." There's no reason for him to try Sora again after already having failed back in Dream Drop; Hell, he didn't even retry using Ventus to forge the X-blade like back in BBS. ("I acted rashly. I can admit that now.") Why would he try to use Sora as a vessel again?
@@dragonbornexpress5650again, to see the new world. Quadratum is pretty much what he was looking to turn his own world into. And Nomura said Xehanort isn't necessarily in the wrong, so Sora might still need a peek into his mindset beyond some dusty old reports. And we still don't know how Sora is gonna go rogue. We're just sure it's gonna happen. And it's gonna have to do with his bottled up issues.
Y'know on one hand Disney should've let Nomura and the writing staff go wild with this world. BluNctrn used to have this one remix track that had I think Final Fantasy 8's Edea/Ultimecia's theme remixed with Frozen. Like right there there's a pretty cash money idea, have Ultimecia sort of act in a role similar to "Ursula" tempting Elsa to embrace her inner darkness. And yeah I think you could mix it up with Larxene still observing and probably still being coy and what not. ...and on the other, I still kinda think they should used either Fantasia 2000, Wall-E, The Princess and the Frog or Treasure Planet instead of Frozen
Fantasia was already done in Dream Drop via Symphony of Sorcery. (And it was arguably one of the best worlds in that game, to boot.) As for the others, the only hint of Treasure Planet was a scrapped ship model in Dream Drop's files and there's been no hint on Princess and the Frog. (Presumably they were holding off on Wall-E and other Pixar properties until after the game released as both Toy Story and the Monsters franchise were very much overdue for KH ever since Nomura wanted to get those two IP's back during KH1's development.)
I honestly don't get what the disappointment is with the whole whole of The pride lands. I think it was an amazing, amazing world both times you went to it in Kingdom hearts 1 and 2
Not going to be in the comments for these Arendelle parts much but just saying Don't believe there's restrictions from people who are just making uo conspiracies I don't know what people wanted but you know as well as I do the second half of the movie, we aren't in Arendelle, we were in the mountains pf it, just like here in the game You know exactly why Elsa wasn't a party member, she spent much of time trying to stay away from others until she made her palace and froze her sister's heart And lastly, get over it about Let it go
The guidelines thing was actually confirmed by Nomura before the game released, which also lines up with the situation within Disney: Just like any company, it's not a hivemind no matter how much the execs may desire it to be, and some staff will make bigger requests than others or certain members may put heavier restrictions on what can be done while others more or less say "it's on the house". Regardless, most of what you said here aren't even good counterarguments and don't actually address the complaints at hand. As someone who's first game in this very franchise was KH3, your dismissal of these complaints only makes you look ignorant. (Not sure if that's actually the case, mind you; Just the optics don't look good for you right now.)
There are restrictions. Nomura went into detail about how the world approval process works around when the game released. Nobody said (well, _hopefully,_ nobody said) they'd like the entire world to be centered around the town. But I'd like to at least be able to walk around the town, just like I was able to do in the Kingdom of Corona (despite the town being such a small part of that movie, too). Besides, as you said, the _second_ half of the movie took place on the mountain. So what about the _first_ half? There's no reason aside from the restrictions that they couldn't create the town in the game. I understand why Elsa couldn't be a party member. Her whole thing was about being alone and separate from everyone else, so it makes sense why she wouldn't let Sora and Co. join her But why not Anna and Kristoff? _That's_ the question I have. All those three (including Sven) are doing is going up the mountain to see Elsa, same as Sora and Co.. And I really don't have a problem with Let It Go.
@@Gestrid. To be fair, when it comes to the first half, what would you even DO in the town? Not much happens there for most of the movie's runtime aside from...generic medieval fantasy town stuff.
Oh my goodness , Arendelle . Let me start off by saying that this is the third worst world right next to Monstro and Atlantica . I did not enjoy going up and down a mountain throughout this level . As if it wasn’t bad enough to get lost in a forest when it came to finding treasures and lucky emblems . Arendelle makes this even worse with getting lost when it came to finding treasures and lucky emblems . I hated the ice labyrinth because it was very confusing . Who thought that it was a good idea to re-create a full CG remake of Elsa singing let it go with the trio in the background ? I understand that song was popular after the movie came out, but it became very annoying to listening to after the first dozen times in my opinion . Who had fun looking for Olaf’s torso for almost half an hour ? Because I surely didn’t . Having past Anna singing in a flashback while present Anna explaining what happened with their childhood was just bad writing . And to top it all off the worst thing about this level would be the frozen slider mini game with finding 10 treasures . That’s where I draw the line when it comes to kingdom hearts mini games . But if there’s one positive thing I have to say about this world would be the wolf heartless boss because that one was pretty awesome . Other than that, I’m so glad I decided to finish Arendelle first before finishing Monstropolis during my second official play through on this game .
@@pasalasaga I was the opposite. I liked the ice maze (I weirdly love puzzles where you have to slide and lock things into place to make it through), but I _hated_ the mountain. Especially falling down it. _Again and again._
I get why this world was added for economic reasons, but it was utterly boring for me. I couldn’t care for the plot, it wasn’t a fun world to explore and it lacked a sense of fun. I get some people love it and that’s fine, but I’ll be glad when we move on from this world after a few parts.
@@underscore55. Disagree. Wardrobe in KH2 Beast's Castle first visit is the almost literal bottom of the barrel of minigames in the franchise for me: Not only is it very obviously padding, but it's not even like Frozen Slider or the Jungle Slide from KH1 Deep Jungle where there's at least SOMETHING happening. (In fact, I REALLY hate how a good chunk of the KH2 worlds just randomly shoehorn minigames in for no reason and the first visit to Beast's Castle is probably one of the worst examples.)
@ Im well aware that Disney have the rights along with SquareEnix. I’m just saying due to their meddling they pretty much ruined what could have been an interesting and very good world in Arendelle for KH3.
@@jalenjohnson0339. No, Square Enix don't have the rights at all; They never did. That being said, again, not that simple: Different teams have different mindsets. (Not that I disagree on the result. It is definitely disappointing, though at least the world design matches up with KH3's environments.)

I can’t stress enough the purpose of this project-this doesn’t want to be the best or the perfect way of experiencing the Kingdom Hearts saga.
All of the titles should be played following their release dates. The Timeline is simply an alternate way of experiencing the story we already know and only players who already played the games should watch it. New players would be spoiled about some plot points, so be warned.
This project gives you a different perspective on specific events, and the adding of new musics, flashbacks, callbacks and secret reports, makes the whole experience even more unique and immersive.

@@orokuro9600 Personally I think they should’ve had one of those worlds or Inside Out instead of _Monsters Inc._
Ohhhhhhh Arendelle. My personal biggest disappointment in this game.
Still not as disappointing as Pride Lands if you ask me. (Not to say they aren't BOTH disappointing.)
I honestly don't get what the disappointment is with the whole whole of The pride lands. I think it was an amazing, amazing world both times you went to it in Kingdom hearts 1 and 2
Not going to be in the comments for these Arendelle parts much but just saying
Don't believe there's restrictions from people who are just making uo conspiracies
I don't know what people wanted but you know as well as I do the second half of the movie, we aren't in Arendelle, we were in the mountains pf it, just like here in the game
You know exactly why Elsa wasn't a party member, she spent much of time trying to stay away from others until she made her palace and froze her sister's heart
And lastly, get over it about Let it go
The guidelines thing was actually confirmed by Nomura before the game released, which also lines up with the situation within Disney: Just like any company, it's not a hivemind no matter how much the execs may desire it to be, and some staff will make bigger requests than others or certain members may put heavier restrictions on what can be done while others more or less say "it's on the house".
I didn't mind the mountain. But I didn't really like the Ice Maze. Even if the design was cool.
@@pasalasaga yeah but design of the world looked amazing . Can’t argue with that .
@@pasalasaga I was the opposite. I liked the ice maze (I weirdly love puzzles where you have to slide and lock things into place to make it through), but I _hated_ the mountain. Especially falling down it. _Again and again._
@@Gestrid I felt the maze was too slow.
@@pasalasaga yeah I kept getting lost in the labyrinth for a little bit .
I get why this world was added for economic reasons, but it was utterly boring for me. I couldn’t care for the plot, it wasn’t a fun world to explore and it lacked a sense of fun. I get some people love it and that’s fine, but I’ll be glad when we move on from this world after a few parts.
Man, you should’ve seen my comment about this level . Because I couldn’t agree more .
@ I just saw it mate and I’m glad others agree with us. Every KH has that ‘one world’ and this is for me for KH3.
@@jaxpavan2123 yep . And frankly frozen slider is where I draw the line when it comes to kingdom hearts, mini games.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 there are mini games that we can stand . And there are those that can really test our patience if you ask me .
Worst world in KH3 screw Disney because it could have been so much better with Nomura plans for the world but nope they wanted to follow the movie
Not that simple. Also, I've got bad news for you on who owns Kingdom Hearts.
