Hello Penny, may I please ask you to post information about world point degrees versus the critical degrees in a chart? Are they different? I have been taught they are, with different degrees. Yet the internet has many answers. Please share here your insights! (A third degree area is the anoretic 29 and some add 0 degree). And, I like the decision to move forward with presenting your astrology as you have been doing, which appeals to so many of us. Thank you for your videos!!
Hi Cecelia, I'm afraid I have never heard of "world degrees". I have put up the critical degrees on this video, but here they are again: 0, 13 and 26 degrees of the Cardinals 8-9 and 21-22 degrees of the Fixed 4 and 17 degrees of the Mutables. 29 degrees is the anaretic degree. Some astrologers refer to zero degrees as the anaretic degree, but you would be better considering zero degrees as a power degree, especially of the Cardinal signs. Hope this helps. Penny x

Im a virgo with libra rising and with Uranus at 29 degrees in Libra. @ThePennyThornton I did reschedule and just as well I did as the same day my landlord came back unexpectedly from abroad and looks possible I'll have to move again depending on his plans (which I'll hear tomorrow). I would have trouble moving if I'd gone ahead with surgery. On the plus side, heard today my old university wants to take a painting of mine into their collection. All very unexpected. Funnily enough, I've talked a little bit more about critical degrees in my upcoming video (August - Signs of Things to Come) which will be posted on Saturday (27th) but suffice to say, planets on a critical degree are stronger; their effect on your life more impact-full. I will probably do a little more about France on my Astrolutely Friday Bites. While I think the election got rid of the Far Right problem for the time being, the chaos and confusion that will now ensue isn't going to help France either. It's a wait-and-see. Pluto has a lot of wood to chop.

Hello Penny, may I please ask you to post information about world point degrees versus the critical degrees in a chart? Are they different? I have been taught they are, with different degrees. Yet the internet has many answers. Please share here your insights! (A third degree area is the anoretic 29 and some add 0 degree). And, I like the decision to move forward with presenting your astrology as you have been doing, which appeals to so many of us. Thank you for your videos!!

I'm afraid I have never heard of "world degrees". I have put up the critical degrees on this video, but here they are again:
0, 13 and 26 degrees of the Cardinals
8-9 and 21-22 degrees of the Fixed
4 and 17 degrees of the Mutables.
29 degrees is the anaretic degree.
Some astrologers refer to zero degrees as the anaretic degree, but you would be better considering zero degrees as a power degree, especially of the Cardinal signs.
