This videos gives me so much nostalgia from my watercolor journey 4 years ago. I was learning how to draw watercolor with your first videos 4 -5 years ago. Then i stopped for personal reason and the nostalgia keeps bringing me back.

I haven’t made a habit of painting in layers so it’s always good to hear you teach about it.

Hello Mr Singh and greetings from the UK. I enjoy your channel and am so grateful for your wise words. I have learned a great deal and finally found a philosophy and method of my watercolour painting that I have made my own. Thank you. 👏👏

Painting with water colors is a unique experience in itself. Generally people ignore the depth of this technique.

@@NitinSinghwatercolorpaintings Thank you Sir! I also forgot to mention how much I appreciate your whole relaxed approach to painting. All too often I hear teachers telling students to be in a rush, basically to fight the nature of watercolors! Not enough people understand what you can capture in watercolor if you approach it with a calm mind and you’re helping to bring that. It is amazing what watercolor is capable of if you allow it do what it’s trying to! Most excellent!

Three things: First of all, I love your style of painting. It is somehow very loose, yet it expresses the subject's essence well.
Second, you are good at clearly explaining your techniques. However, you do not need to say, "you know" so often. Maybe we know and perhaps we don't. Just say what you feel you want to say without the "you know."

Another wonderful video, I am such a fan of your work. Do you always paint for yourself and what inspires you or do you sometimes paint with solely the buyer in mind? I am finding it difficult when someone asks me to paint a picture for them that does not inspire me at all.

-Question....I see many WC artists paint without covering the entire painting with a first layer. They may only do the sky first then let it dry and then painting something else. Is it just personal preference to paint the whole sheet in a first layer instead of sections? Please explain the advantages.
