"Rebonds B" by Iannis Xenakis, performed by DJ Talbot, 11/07/2021

Rebonds B, is a multi-percussion solo focused on the idea of music being a form of structure and mathematics. Iannis Xenakis was a Greek composer and an architect. His philosophy of music consisted of seeing the notes on the page as a pattern and manipulating that pattern to its fullest potential. In this piece, there are only two themes present but Xenakis finds every possible way to invert, flip, or shift these themes around. I hope you enjoy my performance of Rebonds (B) by Iannis Xenakis.
