You've probably been asked this five times before, but what is your compositional method? Do you have any specific patterns or textures you prefer to use?
Hmm I haven't really been asked this, but since I've never attended music school, I sort of only follow my ear. Sometimes I take inspiration from great artists and try to write a piece using similar structures they used, or try to add specific textures to my music, but I don't really have a go to method. I really like the late romantic era and do use the harmonic minor scale more than any other scale, I do believe!
