Wonder what the ads are like (how many there are, what are they required for are my main concerns) as well as what they bring and how the events are like. The thing I hated the most about IT was how the events basically required you to to stockpile and hold back from empowering your character only to pile on your resources at the very last minute of the event just for a small chance to snipe the title (and given how important titles can be and that only coming in first in the events will net you one, yeah). I was also not too happy with just how blatant and near-exclusively the game focused on P2W. I mean I know they have to make money, but the P2W is such that much of the smaller side events are basically worthless unless you P2W, not to mention how much was locked behind P2W or indeed required you to watch ads (the housekeeper token can only be gotten randomly from chests that you get from ads and even then the chances are low, and without that token quite a few stuff has to be done manually which is a pain (I hate fishing and answering questions from sect disciples the most). This made watching ads, a lot of them, pretty much a necessity). The events simply recycled over and over and were more a pain than something to anticipate due to the need to refrain from putting in resources until the 11th hour just to stand a chance (not to mention they simply made the P2W whales more and more powerful only for them to bully those less powerful). I can deal with P2W cosmetics as well as P2W advantages in certain PvP competitive plays as long as those PvP plays aren't required for anything essential. That sort of P2W is fine (and yeah the less ads the better). But locking some of the auto functions that frankly an idle game should have by default is frankly just asinine. I can understand if you need to unlock them by playing the game and getting in-game resources and such, but needing to pay for them? Or watch a LOT of ads just to ensure you get them? Uh-uh. Now that IT is practically dead (not that I care I left it a while back due to the drudgery of ad grind among other things) I'm considering looking at some other mobile games. (it's) Overmortal (I have the high ground) is one of my considerations, but if it has these same problems it will be off my considerations, non-negotiable.
There are about 4 ads a day if you want a little bit of extra (optional) Event wise there is definitely some level of saving up to hit certain milestones in the event which is guaranteed rewards for hitting them as opposed to needing to hold a rank IT has been a horribly P2W affair for a long time sadly, there is still P2W in this game though for sure - mostly in the form of artifacts This is a game where you play to unlock the automated stuff in the game though thankfully, no need to literally buy the mechanics (which is bs) Id say give it a go, you'll find out quickly if you want to keep playing it or not in the first week or so tbh
