For the Half Marathon, I don't know why runners were permitted to start in the Red Wave when they clearly didn't have the ability to run a sub-01:45:00. Entrants should be required to provide evidence of a recent HM time or at least be asked to state a recent HM time (that way the system can match and allocate accordingly). Furthermore, I don't know why they don't have another group behind the elites and in front of the Red Wave as the there's too much of a variation in times for the Red Wave. Perhaps a sub-01:30:00 wave, then another wave from 01:30:00 to 01:45:00.
