Theory, shrine is the curse technique of Yujis dad's original body. Fuga is the activation word for Sukuna and the fire one is his. Yuji eats his brothers which parallels nicely. Also Yuji may be capable of more than 2 techniques even yet. Kennys, for example but that's a stretch. Maybe his biological mothers one.

This actually highlights something about Open Domains.
Sukuna's domain is open, not barrierless. How it functions is that Sukuna projects the barrier to a smaller degree and manifests his CT onto it thus forming the Malevolent Shrine seen.
How his CT and Sure Hit are projected is actually highlighted in an earlier conversation/gag between Miwa and Kusakabe, where Kusakabe asks Miwa to through him the water but not the bottle, where Miwa responds by throwing the water at him.
And thats the thing, 'throwing'. In this case, the barrier of the Shrine is the water bottle and the CT is the water. Making Malevolent Shrine effectively throwing his CT outward by squeezing the bottle.
Why it looks like that now is basically removed the barrier that was the foundation of the Shrine and used it to entrap everyone. Without its foundation, the Shrine came out a mess and can't be maintained for long, as we see.
Or an easier way to understand it is a normal domain is a tub of water while an open domain is a water sprinkler. Both have a means to contain the water(barrier) but only one of them can shoot it outwards.
Why was it able to hit the outside of gojo's infinite void despite the shrine being inside gojo's domain??( Am talking about that time gojo reduced his domain to a small sphere to make the outside of it harder to break)
@@michelebaldissera2784the domain has no barrier, so in reality the radius of its attacks still extended past the range of gojos domain. In a domain, sure hits don’t necessarily project from the center of the domain to a target. Rather they instantly appear at a target, so the slashes just appeared outside gojos domain and broke it.
That's nonsense. The purpose of the barrier is not only to hold the CT, but also to prevent others from interfering. If it's not barrierless, then it shouldn't be able to shoot it outwards since domain barriers weren't shaped as a bottle of water.
@@keif9447 Sukuna's and Kenjaku's domain have barriers, otherwise they wouldn't have the guaranteed hit. What they don't have is the shell/curtain which normal domains have.
That's why Chimera Shadow Garden doesn't have the guaranteed hit because that is an barrierless domain and needs an enclosed space.
My theory is that Sukuna’s technique is something to do with being a Cheif. Cutting, dismantling and fire. “Fuga” could be opening an oven or furnace. Probably a very broad explanation but, I think it works. Could also explain his obsession with eating

Yuji's leg already got healed this chapter. I'm pretty sure Sukuna's CT is generally based on a kitchen in general, which is why it has both the knives and the furnace. Heian era must have not had coolers tho, so he probably has Uraume to do that
What I picked up:
1. Yuji reattached his leg with blood manipulation + RCT within the same chapter. It was pretty badass that Yuji is so unfazed by the domain and is still locked-in.
2. I do believe that Ui Ui's technique needs to be consensual with its recipients. As to how this works, I think the soul swap works once at the BEGINNING of each month within a sample size of people. (this explains why Choso learned Simple Domain, as information of how to do a simple domain becomes easier the more people know about it. Since Ino, Miwa, Kusokabe and now Yuji knows how to do it.)
3. (THEORY) As for Sukuna's domain, due to Yuji's Soul nerfing his hold over Megumi, it becomes more like Megumi's Domain as it becomes a Half Complete Domain, with Sukuna using a Binding Vow to keep it active at the cost of having a incredibly shorten duration.
4. I think the Fire Arrow is apart of Sukuna's Technique of Shrine. As he cleaves and dismantles is food before cooking them with the Fire Arrow. Since Yuji has Sukuna's Shrine, he may be able to replicate this to counteract Sukuna's own fire arrow. But judging from how they think Shrine Domain was closed, they would be cooked for the meantime.
5. As for Yuji, since Sukuna is so salty at Yuji, the reason why his Simple Domain breaks while the others were fine is because Sukuna is specifically targeting Yuji. He is experiencing close to the entire output of slashes headed his way. Sukuna's priority as of right now is to get rid of Yuji, since he is the only one that can damage him directly. If he can get rid of Yuji, everyone can be easy pickings.
6. Yuji might get his own Domain Expansion after he gets boxed by Sukuna after Fuga hits.

@@sargonyami4292 You obviously weren't paying attention then. They just stated why Yuji's growth is so fast in this chapter and it makes alot of sense. The genius Gojo awakened when he was still a student and Yuji was showing signs of being a prodigy from season 1 by hitting the record for Black Flashes the same day he learned to do it properly. Using Black Flash as much as you Yuji has is more impressive than RCT or Domain Expansion. Yuji just didn't have access to a technique at the time which was holding him back.

@@sargonyami4292 Yes, but his growth from that point is not as extreme as you're making it. He learned how to automate his Infinity/RCT a year later. His next step was refining his domain.
Yuji is not even close to his peak yet, he's fighting a much weaker Sukuna than Gojo which affects the efficiency of his attacks. The thing that's scary about Yuji though is that he is so good at using Black Flash which unlocks more of your potential with each strike and it also helps you better understand your abilities. Yuji surpassed Gojo in that regard. This is something that he was naturally talented at. Even Sukuna can't land Black Flashes the way Yuji does.
His mouscle memory was assisted by Sukuna though using high level abilities in his body. Yuta was also right when they said that they cheated, but I doubt anyone would turn down an opportunity to grow as fast as they did by using Ui Ui
Yuji was designed to be the next Sukuna and even surpass him. His growth makes alot of sense. Kenjaku wants to push the boundaries of what he can create and he succeeded with Yuji.

just a remember, but Sukuna wasnt able to kill Mahoraga with his domain expansion because Mahoraga was already adapting to slashes in general, but wasnt adapted to flames, so he used the domain to cause as much damage the slashes could, and used the flames to finish him off since he wasnt adapted to that, and about Gojo, well, the flame arrow would probably be useless against the Mugen, and Sukuna cant use Shrine and 10 Shadows at the same time, so it was more worth to just use the Shrine domain and then the 10 shadows

About Ui Ui retrieving the dead, right after Gojo unsealing and before his fight against Sukuna there's a mention about how they were now sure that the "secret ingredient" to create a cursed tool in a human spirit.
If they somehow figured out how to do this, a piece of evidence could be Nanami's tie getting his CT engraved in it now, Maybe they're retrieving the body of the dead to turn them into Cursed Tools?
That MMD about Gojo that was released a few weeks ago kept putting a weird emphasis on one of Gojo's eyes for some reason.
I mean… We see Yuji lose his lower leg/foot in the one panel, and in the next, his blood is forming a trail to said foot. So I’m pretty sure he is still fine. That’s why Yuji’s thoughts are on the others surviving it.
It seems the ability Choso was mentioning from the beginning was working. And in a sense, as long as Yuji doesn’t lose composure/focus, he’s almost immortal. And with hitting all those black flashes, I’m thinking those will be the key to staying alive in that focused state.

I do think that they technically aren't separate abilities that Sukuna has... It is literally a kitchen. So essentially the major components of his kitchen are all or to a degree his Arsenal. Based on a kitchen from his era. So basically a fire, blades, and his mouth

When you said sukunas techniques are the process of cooking, it got me thinking about when maki fought the sumo guy and it said that domains started as ways to form a ring for sumo. It also got me thinking why and where ct come from. Maybe cts started as the ‘height’ of a profession like sukunas ct started as something chefs would use to cook and he’s jusr twisted into something violent. Tldr I’m thinking ct started as harmless professions and was twisted.

I think Megumi has essentially lost 10 shadows after Gojo killed most of the shadows or at least just the merged ones, and now Sukuna perhaps made a binding vow using megumis domain to remove its effect and add shrine to it, but probably a 1 time thing and now Megumi also now no longer has a domain expansion 😂. Sukuna also can't use his domain expansion due to him not being able to perform the proper hand sign. I noticed in one of the panels that sukuna is using a hand sign more similar to gojo's for domain expansion which could explain why it looked so deformed.

17:51 sakuna may have only taken over eugie's body, probably a couple of times, but in those couple of times look at the things that he's done. He's destroyed an entire city. He's basically curb stop multiple special grade spirits. Then on top of that, the man did his own special trick in the bag of transferring his soul into a body part and pushing it over. Sakuna's curse techniques have been inherited by eugie, but because his body hasn't used them himself just yet. That's why we're getting this learning curve from him
The fire makes sense with the kitchen theme: Cutting, Cooking and eating are all things/abilities we have seen Sukuna do through the manga. I wonder if he'll have some sort of chopstick attack later.
Simple answer to Sakuna having two curse techniques is that Shrine is the curse technique of the brother he ate in the womb thus explaing how Yuji a descendant of the reincarnation of Sakuna's brother has a version of the technique and his Fuga/Stove/Furnace (whatever it's official name is confirmed to be) is the curse technique he was born with. I mean that's just my theory anyway guess we will find out next week
I don't get it. It's said he didn't even give his all against Gojo, yet he was also forced to make a binding vow that reduces the effectiveness of the world slash like that? It's kind of stupid because now he can't hit anyone with the world cutting slash, making it nearly useless to anyone who knows about it.
The World Cutting Slash was developed to bypass Gojo's shield specifically, but against anyone else, although I wouldn't say it's "Useless" it's kinda of a pointless technique.

Sukuna's technique is a kitchen and with it comes abilities that are analogous of kitchen tools. Knives and oven are a part of a kitchen. Yuji's modern version of the oven must be interesting.

I’m also glad you mentioned Gojo being able to escape my malevolent shrine. Maybe it’ll be brought up during the end credits of the whole series or something, but Gojo never tried to escape. That more than anything else cost him to fight. he never needed to clash domains.
unless his goal was to lose, and just weaken Soukouna for his team, to beat him, which doesn’t seem like him at all.
gojos ego and the whole idea of the 2 strongest sorcerers ever clashing is the reason he didnt try to escape, but its also likely that sukuna just wouldnt let him as he says in 226 after he first destroys gojos domain. gojos teleportation seems to be conditional so he cant just teleport out whenever he wants and if sukunas applying pressure on him he wont be able to just run out of ms range
Gojo couldn't teleport away because his domain was destroyed and his curse technique enter the cooldown period post domain expansion

If you check the panels, his left leg is re-attached, similar to how Choso seperated his arm and reconnected it with the blood connected to it
Shrines can have Kitchens in them I think the whole Shrine CT is everything that goes with With a kitchen Cutting and preparing food that would be Cleave and Dismantle and Fuga is a furnace and or The fire arrow, which represents a Furnace and that’s where the fire comes from, I think you said it in a previous video a year or two ago Sukuna’s CT is everything that has to do with preparing and cooking food, Cutting and Cooking(Fire)
Sukuna is using an open domain with an entirely seperate barrier enveloping it (the kind of barrier used to trap civilians in Shibuya) with a condition to it that doesn't allow Maki to pass through it.
That is how he's able to trap Maki.
The beat way to explain uiui ability is that its like taking a envolope and putting it over a stove with a pot of ateaming hot water. The envolope as long as its paper white will get damp and then you can read whats inside the letter itself without opening the sealm basically hes reading the soul and then able to manipulate.
With all this new information the way I see it, the Shrine cursed technique has at least two extension techniques along with the Malevolent Shrine Domain.
The first extension of Shrine is the default slashing technique Dismantle. If the user adjusts the slash specifically to one-shot their target it becomes Cleave, but it seemingly requires physical contact unless it's applied to the user's Domain. The most lethal application of this extension technique is the World-Cutting Dismantle which can slash the fabric of space itself.
The second extension technique is Furnace "Open," which takes the form of a flame arrow hotter than even Jogo's flames. It can seemingly also be used as the sure-hit factor for the user's Domain.
Now, Malevolent Shrine can be edited but the standard settings placed by Sukuna divides the slashing technique to Dismantle inanimate objects and Cleave targets with cursed energy. Sukuna can also expand his Domain without a barrier to increase its potency.
I feel like the likelihood of Sukuna being able to absorb cursed techniques, like everyone's been theorizing, is low but not far reaching. It would probably work differently from Yuta's Copy technique.

I think Sukuna's black box thing is an application of curse energy or his way of manipulating it freely. I think how he does is that he made a binding vow allowing himself to change the properties of it. It's similar to how it was mentioned that curse energy has a property to it like how Kashimo has a lightning like property to his curse energy and how Hakari has a rough edge to his curse energy. So when Sukuna say's "Open" is his way to activate that binding vow to manipulate his curse energy. It's similar to how he made his binding vow with Yuji when he says "Enchain". So it's an activation for it. Then "fuga" must be another binding vow to turn his curse energy to a fire or flame like property and be able to shape it like a bow and arrow and shoot it. The thing I get from this is that Sukuna understands curse energy to the point that he understands how to manipulate it's property into something different. The only thing that I can't figure out is that if it is a binding vow that allows him to do all of this, then what would the binding vow be in the first place?
Though it's possible that it's simply just Sukuna combining his shrine technique with a reversal of his shrine technique to create a new technique. It's similar to how Gojo did blue and reversal red and combined them to make hollow purple. Sukuna then made a binding vow just to say the black blox thing and "open" to trigger it and that fuga is one of the techniques of it.
The other possibility is that if it's not a binding vow is that Kenjaku did an experiment on Sukuna which allowed him to use different techniques that he doesn't inherently have. And that Sukuna made a binding vow to not use it unless he says "Open". Though, there's something missing that doesn't explain why Yuji doesn't have it or why he can't use it.
The panel you’re showing is him attaching his leg back but you’re saying maybe he’ll grow it back next chapter lol he has the same properties as Choso so can he attach it back with the blood which is what the panel is showing because the panel before his leg is on the ground and then the panel after where he is on his knees that’s the same leg that was chopped off
Also seeing weird talk of people saying that sukuna’s domain has a barrier which we know not to be true. They’re called divine because they create their domain/zone without the shell so while their is technically still a Barrier as in the layer and or circle of cursed energy on the ground like with a simple domain there’s no shell to keep in your opponent

From what I seen and read is feels like shrine isn't actually sukuna's CT, it might be more along the lines of cannibalism and in doing so he can retain the victim's CT or a version of it. Shrine might just be his brother's CT and since he ate him he has access to it. This would also explain why he strictly goes after strong opponents in the modern and hein era. Even in the chapter where he eats his own corpse he goes after the head first, where the CT is ingrained. IDK, just a lil theory on my part.

When Sukuna made binding vows. What did he trade for the vow?
Idk seems simple enough, shine is a CT with 3 abilities, the slashes, cleve, and fire to cook the food. Plus in the official last chapters it says sukuna CT was shine, same as yujis. Limitless, 6 eyes, red, blue, purple, 10 shadows all the same CT with more than One ability. Plus the Interpretation and the era can change the same CT some. Just my thoughts from the officials. I hope Sunday clears some things up

I think the fire thing is a base technique cause even when he used it against Jogo he said “I thought everyone knew about this” like it’s a regular technique or item that most ppl (sorcerers/CS) should have knowledge of. Could be a forgotten skill or something

So imo, that directly implies with all the other unsaid things, that when someone with Shrine eats someone, they get their technique. Or at least eats a significant portion of someone's cursed energy.
Because Sukuna had cleave/dismantle and Yuji ate a significant portion of his cursed energy via all the fingers, he's got them too. He may have fuga as well just doesn't know how to activate it.
Because he ate the paintings, he's got blood manipulation. Same concept cause he ate three individuals in their entirety.
This doesn't get confusing with the angel stuff cause Sukuna didn't eat q significant portion of her body. Or it's possible that she removed the cursed energy from the wound location at the last second and he only got flesh but no cursed energy.

I still feel the fire is a property of the cuts. Sharpening CE against each other could create friction and heat it could be way he moves his hands back and forth when he stokes the flames, could be hinted at when he creates small chainsaw like dismantles in his hands and rotates them like chainsaws when he catches Yutas blade
No fuga is a separate technique, hence it being individually named at the end of the chapter.
My theory is that the cleave/dismantle was actually yujis ability and sukuna ability has to be about fire or something bc in his fight vs jogoat he (said im not going to reveal my technique ) and if you and someone have the same technique it Will be used differently
Fuuga is definitely just part of Sukuna's Cursed Technique, it isn't something outside of it. When Sukuna spoke with Jogo he said something along the lines of "Oh, I thought you would know about this, but I guess it makes sense with you being a cursed spirit" implying that Sukuna thinks his technique is widely known because of who he is.
If Malevolent Shrine is Melevolent Kitchen; then wouldn't Cleave be cutting things up, dismantle would be separating/preparing stuff to cook (like cuts of meat, or removing seeds, or skin). So wouldnt Fuuga be the fire you use to cook stuff?

Sukuna is a cannibal but the cannibalistic of him is not enough to make a cursed technique, or it is actually possible but that's forbidden according to the ethics of Jujutsu hence why he get the moniker "The Disgraced One"

What if Sukuna has a has a flavor pallet for cursed techniques that allow him to understand them on deeper level from consumption. From there he can alter his own techniques and improve them.
Maybe Yuji has a specific ability that allows him to learn cursed techniques through consumption. He’s the only thing that was able to eat Sukunas fingers.
The whole theme of Sukuna's cursed technique seems to be cooking. Cleave and dismantle are obviously chef's knives and fuga, or whatever it's called, is the kitchen hearth, which would've been used in the heian era before electric ovens. Malevolent kitchen may have actually been an accurate name even if it wasn't an accirate translation.
