Nací en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, vivo aquí y si hay un motivo por el que jamás viviré en otro lugar, es porque... ¿dónde va a haber panaderías para comprar unas buenas facturas argentinas? El "secreto" de las medialunas es comerlas con un buen café con leche y sumergirlas un poco en el café a medida que las vas comiendo... eso es el paraíso!!! Muy buen video!!
@susybacci antes me gustaban, pero me aburrieron pirque son muy secas además ya no tenían el sabor rico que caracterizaba, así que volví a comer los de mi país y otros.

No es mermelada,es dulce de membrillo,son dos cosas diferentes, sobretodo en la consistencia,la gran diferencia entre una cosa y la otra es el AGAR-AGAR.
Eso no es pan, son facturas, como pasteles, y vienen de recetas italianas, francesas y alemanas. La diferencia es que aquí a muchas les agregamos dulce de leche. Si vas a una panadería y pedís pan, te van a dar pan flauta o pan francés, para hamburguesas, etc. Eso es pan y hay de distintos tipos, pero todos son salados. Las facturas suelen ser dulces y llevan otro tipo de masa. 😘

Es un tema de traducción y cultura. La pizza es pan también. Facturas no tiene traducción. Otra forma que podría aver dicho es pastry.
Las facturas de las panaderías son excelentes , las de los mercados no tanto.
El caramel no es lo mismo que el duce de leche porque se prepara distinto
El caramel es leche condensada ( azucar + leche en polvo + suero) hervida en su lata
Dulce de leche basicamente es leche escencia de vainilla+ azucar + bicarbonato de sodio hiviendo a fuego lento hasta evaporar el suero y obtener la consistecia que depende de la cantidad de bicarbonato que le pongas ( lo aprendi en un paseo a La serenisima)
Ese será en Argentina, en chile tenemos el manjar de leche qué es leche y azúcar, caramelizadas

Empanadas hay de muchísimas variantes y sabores....inclusive por provincia varían unas de las otras

Las facturas en argentina tienen mucha historia y más historia tienen los nombres de las facturas que surgieron después de protesta cuando los panadería quisieron hacer su sindicato, en forma de burla surgieron los nombres suspiro de monja bolas de fraile calzoncito vigilante librito etc.

en Argentina también entendemos la palabra "factura" como ticket o boleta que es un comprobante de pago, pero no es de uso común. No es raro el termino usado para esos "pastries"porque algo elaborado, fabricado, es una factura... y que ricas!
Como no es de uso comun? ¨Haceme la/una factura¨, es mucho mas comun que ¨un ticket¨ y mucho mas que ¨una boleta¨. Al menos en Capital, se usa mucho mas el primero termino

Well, that's what happens when your bakers are Italian anarchists and decide to name their creations.
You took the wrong meaning of "factura", it's not a bill, it means craftmanship, as in the product from a factory (same root). Bakers were immigrants that brung with them the fight for workers rights. They wanted to point out the pastries were their job outcome that followed a lenghty proccess. Many individual facturas also got names that mocks authorities and the statu quo, like "vigilantes" (cops) or "bolas de fraile" (friar's balls).

G'day Jon, another awesome episode. Have you ever found flash pasteurized milk in Chile. Or Argentina. Not raw, pasteurized, kept in fridges and a shelf life of maybe 7/10 days. I've been going to Chile for months at a time since 2013 and as yet have never seen it. And I've looked, and looked, and looked again.
I never found any in Chile too. Wasn't a fan of that boxed milk
la leche que se consume en Argentina es pausterizada. Viene en bolsas pequeñas llamadas "sachet" de 1 litro y en botellas o packs las que son "larga vida".

where exactly are these milk fridges amigo, and I did mention flash pasteurized which raw is not. My Chilean partner who still lives in Chile has never seen it there. She was here in Australia recently and has never seen milk like ours or the USA's milk in her life. @@erasedblood737
My partner is Chilean and has never seen real milk until she visited Australia, she has had raw milk of course because that is easily found in Chile.@@susanlopez8819
