I thought I would pop in for a moment while I was washing some things, but as usual you caught me and I stayed to the end! ☺️ For the currently nameless shawl, what about the Don't Forget To Remember shawl?
For the shawl … PICKET FENCE -- looks just like one. I ran into the same situation with the granny square yarn … was too stressful to try to match up,the tension to the granny square, so after several tries, I just did the C2C in DC clusters, and liked it a lot better. Not even going to entertain the Flower Power line, but I agree with your number one choice being the darker one. Totes Jelly on the Big Twist yarn … I saw I want, and they aren’t even on Joanne’s site yet. That yarn you ordered from Tracy is gorgeous
New recipe started for my granddaughter for Christmas... a whimsical foxy rug/ nap blanket one hook size up to be more drapey... only rather than standard red, I'm double stranding a lavendar solid colorway with a lavender sparkle colorway...
Loved all the BigTwist colours but especially the speckled ones. James C Brett is one of my favourite yarns. It always knits or crochets up really nicely. The colours of the vintage yarns are so nice. I can't wait to see them crocheted up. I have lots of my mum's vintage knitting patterns. Some of them have the price 6d (sixpence) on the front and are stamped with the name of the shop she bought them in. I remember those shops from when I was a child...I loved seeing all the yarn and the unique smell new wool has. When I got older I used to spend my pocket money in those shops and knit clothes for my dolls!!
Hey Juan! I'm late and watching the replay! How about "Cobblestone Shawl" as a name for your newest shawl design?! All the texture is what made me think of a cobblestone street. It's lovely! I look forward to making it!!!❤ P.S. I absolutely love your new JC Brett yarn from Tracy! My favorite of the two is the one with the teal. Both are beautiful. Great sweater yarn!!! If you are interested in a beginner knitted sweater to try, check out Tin Can Knit and the "Flax" sweater!!! It is a beginner knitted raglan sweater, and there are lots of RUclips tutorials if you just look for Flax sweater. The neat thing about this sweater is that there are instructions for adult men/women all the way down to toddler and infant!
Enjoyed your podcast. Lots of fun yarns. Your unnamed shawl is great - love the Scarfie yarn. I saw some new (?) Scarfie yarn today at Michael’s that had too much ‘halo’ for me. Beautiful colors but not fun to crochet. I have used JB Marble a few times. A gorgeous yarn crocheted up!❤JB knows how to do the yarn for sure. See you!
That sweater you are wearing gives me Norwegian vibes! I like it. My coffee was DD peppermint mocha with an almond croissant! I just may need one of those croissants everyday as long as they have them!!! Loving your afghan, loving the color! My mama always taught me to buy the same number of the dye lot. There was only one time I listened to a clerk who told me the manufacturer said it wasn't necessary to do so. Stupid me...I listened and learned the hard way. Dyelot numbers do matter. Shame on me for not channeling my mom's teaching!!! Name your shawl Angelic Hug or Angel Hug...it looks heavenly! I got the Flower Field too. It reminded me of a daisy but my Joann's didn't have it. My Joann's is small. I usually have to buy online. Get cracking! I want to see how the christmassy yarn works up! I bought the Big Twist hooks since I had that mega coupon for a non sale item. I like them. My hand is small unlike yours. I am doing my granny with it! My knitting projects is a scarf from beautiful wool made in Vermont called Making Tracks, loving it! Your sweater yarn is stunning and looks so soft. Happy creating!
Hi Juan and I think the name of the shawl should be winter wonderland and right now I am working on my cottage core core blanket and granny squares blanket and butterfly mosaic blanket and granny squares for billie for boggy creek and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting and keep up the great work on your RUclips channel and keep up the great work on your crochet projects
Hi Juan how are you doing tonight I am doing fine tonight your fos and your wips are very beautiful colors and very beautiful work thank you for sharing stay ❤❤
Your no name shawl is too nice to be anonymous . When I saw it I thought of Foggy Morning wrapped around me with my Dunkin (BTW, agree 1000% it's the best no matter what flavor!) warming me from the inside!! I can't wait for the naming reveal. You're so creative I know you'll find something inspiring. When I saw the new Christmas colors you found, I got a little itchy, but then I fell across the box of my Herrschners Halloween purchase and came to my senses. I have yarn crammed in so many places, I've lost track of what's there. Also, my arthritis got the best of me for the past year forcing a "crochet vacation ". It feels so good to be back at it. Enjoy your new/ vintage acquisitions and thanks for sharing. PS: I met you on It's Raining Yarn and am glad to now be a subscriber.
The "no-name lighthouse" shawl would be great--you have been doing a series of lighthouse patterns, so why not do this one? Or maybe call it the winter lighthouse?
Hi Juan. Today is my 8 month Anniversary with you. Since I became a member, I am having a blast. You are kind, generous, genuine, caring human being. You definitely wear your heart on your sleeve. Also being a motivator, a creative designer as well. I have a new suggestion for you. What about "A Scarf for All Season's " it can be crocheted up with any weight of yarn. Love and always support you. ❤💜
Hello Juan, I love the shawl it’s so beautiful, to me it looks like comfort, so how about (pure comfort shawl)? No matter the name it’s gorgeous and I will be making one. Thank you for all that you do! Also you truly are the best crochet buddy! Thank you!!! 😊
Some Caron One pound and redheart yarn have no dye lots. I try to use one of those yarns for blankets. I have three blankets started in the cabinet throw pattern. 🧶❤️
Hi Deborah, I’m from Colorado and the flower yarns and Christmas yarns are at the centennial Joann’s by park meadows. I’m not sure where you are but I’m in Littleton.
Hi Juan again. I forgot to mention all the yarn is beautiful. The biscoff cookies, Walmart sells them. They are so addicting. The Clover you brought. I have 4 of them. I like them. Would you please let us know, on what you think of it. Please and thank you 💜💜🧶

Juan I like the same Big Twist colourways that you do. The lighter colours just scream spring to me. Are you getting an Etimo hook, if so I’d love to hear your thoughts about it.
I thought I would pop in for a moment while I was washing some things, but as usual you caught me and I stayed to the end! ☺️
For the currently nameless shawl, what about the Don't Forget To Remember shawl?
I suggest Snow on the Mountain for the scarf. Beautiful.
Hi Juan. I think of shawls as being wrapped in a hug so I would call it the wrapped in a hug shawl.
I use the clover soft touch , I have very small hands . I need to go to Joann and get the flower power yarn
For the shawl … PICKET FENCE -- looks just like one.
I ran into the same situation with the granny square yarn … was too stressful to try to match up,the tension to the granny square, so after several tries, I just did the C2C in DC clusters, and liked it a lot better. I love the James Brett Marble Chunky yarn, I have some of that, it's beautiful
Zendreams for the shawl...love the flower yarns.

Love that Marble yarn will make a lovely sweater
I look at that particular scarf/shawl as one I would do for winter because it reminds me of snow on bare trees ❤️
