Thanks for that Craig. I usually fit the standard IP rated downlights in soffits never had a problem (So far!) - might need to have a rethink now! Although those h2s are really expensive so not sure if I would be able to sway some of my clients!! Thanks anyway and keep up the great advice stuff it’s invaluable 👍
Thanks for watching Brian. Not sure where you’re looking. The H2 Pro Extreme are about £15 more than a normal H2 depending on where you buy them from which is why I get why people buy the cheaper versions. To a client they all look the same and do the same.
@Giffords Electrical Excellent review dude, I may sway from my go to JCC. Where do you source your Collingwood gear? If you don't mind me asking? I have a soffit lighting install coming up so this video is perfectly timed while I source materials for the job. I normally go to CEF for most things but according to their wrap sheet on the H2 Pro X, the 4 year warranty is only valid once registered. Not a major issue for me but want something that will stand the test of time and justify the extra spend. Thanks again. How is the hand? Has it grown to Popeye size yet?
Hi Peter. Thanks for the kind words. I get my materials for either CEF or a local wholesaler called Lamps. The info I could find on the H2 pro X just says 4 year warranty, this was on the paperwork in the box but didn’t mention it needed to be registered. Even collingwoods website says 4 year warranty nothing about having to register for it. The hands all better thanks. Was just badly bruised and very stiff for a few days.
Glad to hear it. :) No worries, I will continue my search. I do like the look of the Collingwood gear and to be fair they are not that much more expensive, take care.
Yeah not much difference in price. I have done some digging myself and found the warranty form. Link is below. www.collingwoodlighting.com/en/warranty-registration
Fantastic work Craig 🦾

Can you send link of where to buy?

Can I quote on some exterior down lights? I'm in the U.S.
Have you tried the jcc v50. Great video mate
My early videos I was using JCC V50’s. Just prefer the Collingwood as 4yr warranty without the need to register for the extended warranty.
Great video 👍
Thank you 😊
I like the new intro 😎
Thanks Richard
