apart from the 2 sec tea ceremony there's nothing chinese about this the chinese have a beautiful culture with beautiful traditions yet they choose to abandon it and imitate western culture and look more western like, even though the westerners rejects them why would anyone do that?
+Wael A in practice, traditional chinese wedding ceremony is impratical to do in other nation beside China. because the nation culture itself not support it.Like in my country indonesia. so they usually just have to do a simple one.
Some Chinese customs and traditions involve certain superstitions, if the couples' beliefs are against it I don't see why they have to carry out those customs. I think a wedding can tell a lot about the couple getting married, what their beliefs, principles, personalities and priorities are.. It's ok for the wedding to be modernized keeping only the custom and traditions that are truly meaningful and that allows 'who they are' to shine through.
