Looks like no one in the video heard of 2πr = 2*3.14*radius - just estimate the radius as 5cm and your answer is approx 30cm - well above the height of the glass!!

@@prateekkumar8979 For the bottle you can still take an educated guess based on the formula - although it'll be slightly tougher to judge - even Suhani was clueless about the bottle. Anyways the bet was about a glass and not a bottle!!

Mathematically speaking, circumference is more than 3 times the diameter (3.14x) so you can get some idea looking at the diameter while comparing it to the height.

This won't work for Engineers bcz we know Circumference is 2(pi)r =2*3.14*radius and for glass Radius is arround 3 to 4 cm now Circumference will ne arround 18 to 20 cm so we can negotiate upto 20 cms Height. 😅😅😅

Bruh it was damn easy circumference bol diye tha toh hi idea agaya tha agar bottle ka height bhi 15-20cm hoga and radius of the glass or any circular object will approximately - 5cm then to it will be greater than the height cuz the formula states that circumference of Circle is 2×3.14 therefore if we multiply it with the height of the respective object it would be lesser than it by 10cm or if the height is 15cm it would be half of the radius that is if we use formula 2πr will get 10×3.14= 30.14 which Is approximately double of the height

Broo it's 4th std maths 😭 Circumference = 2 pi r If we assume that the radius of the glass is 5 cm den the approx circumference will be 30 cm so until the tower exceeds that height, circumference will always be greater, hope the next episode's better

Every time Suhani is not satisfied with the decision she changes variables to make us reconsider our decision.
Its easy when Suhani says *Lets add more height Now?* that means she wants you to change your decision in this case by adding one-two books at a time.
Same goes for select a card trick *Do you want to change your card or are you satisfied with this card?* she asks these questions because she wants you to change your decision/card.

Many students know the answer actually.
Circumference is 2πr = 6.2×r (approx) . Means it is 6 times radius of the circle or 3 times diameter of the circle.
So obviously it is not that much small as it look like . 😅

The trick is circumference is double its height.......There is a question in my maths book thats why i know this.
Common guys you pick up the glass daily, does your middle finger and thumb meet ??? try stretching them and measure it will surely be greater than the height of glass and the fingers weren't touching (increase the measurement by x) moreover we do not hold it at the brim of the glass (increase more height). @Suhani Shah nice one tho but I guess an intuitive mind can solve this but you can surely trick the rest of the crowd and its trippy

I mean - yea that seems like a hack for people not related or not in touch with Science/Engineering field.
It's the basic aptitude question for all placement exams! :D that the circumference of a circle is a little more than 3 times greater than its diameter.
And other facts are that a circle's area is always larger than the area of other shapes with similar perimeter. Now saying that, in a 3D world - a circular sphere has the largest volume compared to the other shaped objects of similar size.
Combing the above-: A circular sphere will always have the largest surface area for all similar volumed objects, which is why the most naturally occurring shape in this universe is the circle or circular sphere to maximize the space covered and for a stable existence

If anyone knows Maths practically, he/she could still tell that circumference is more than height(including those books), coz circumference is much more than triple of diameter, and if we see clearly we could say that height is very comparable to the diameter of the tumbler.
This is not a hack, because if you know the formula of circumference i. e. 2πr, you can easily compare height and circumference. Its more about knowledge.
