My wife and I were at this show and I tell you ...from the bottom of our hearts....Thank you....thank you....thank you...While my memories of this show will forever be with me....seeing it again makes me feel a little better on a day where it's hard to feel good about much right now. That concert was much much more than a show...it was an experience in how much love and humanity one arena can hold. It was a celebration of the good feelings we all have inside of us. TP - Never forgotten...you always will make me smile upon recollection of this night and your music will truly live forever.

I just came upon the show and boy does he look sick. In pain, I know because I have extreme back pain that goes down my legs. I understand why he overdosed. Pain is a horrible thing it makes you angry, not fun to be around and just destroys your life. And yet he's out there doing what he does, what a guy! It's so obvious that he loved playing music. So grateful we had all these years with him. And thank all the people that were in his crowds at his concerts, as I heard in an interview that he really loved the crowds, and you made him feel really good.
Yes, I saw him crash on the floor when the pain got to be too much. I love him as a brother. My heart is broken. It can't be glued back. I will bawl like a baby if I see him in pain.

When TPHB was beginning their journey in Gainesville, I was 21, from FL, (newly married, then eventually a cute kid, husband on submarines but he died, blah blah life life life...the usual.). I missed all MTV, TV, TP, etc. In 80s & 90s... Choice had no TV and still by choice don't have a TV. I can get all of the good, the bad and the ugly on my iPad. But in the 80s and 90s on, I was listening to WXPN which was on the campus at the University of Pennsylvania and was an adult alternative station. So we got current news from NPR and then flipped into interesting music of all genres. Maybe a dab of rock 'n' roll in there but just everything you can imagine. And it really helped expand your taste in music. And it was there I listened to Lucinda Williams for the first time, Bonnie Raitt, Keb' Mo', Buddy Guy Mississippi Fred McDowell, Elmore James, Robert Johnson, god so many you start to forget. With all the deeper, older blues folks no one was playing. Fast forward to the 2005 to 2014 time..back to FL to take care of my mom who had dementia/cancer the whole caregiving route. Rough stuff. I bought my first Beetle and got three free months of SiriusXM! music. WOW..you add MSNBC, CNN, 3 blues stations, a little classical and Tom Petty's Buried Treasure. Whoa. Always an excuse to be on the road to anywhere. And by 2015 I was in the deep dive into all things Tom Petty. It saved my battered soul. I am still watching documentaries, interviews, concerts I have never seen and am thoroughly enjoying all of it. I do love Bonnaroo. I love the Wells Fargo Philly concert in 2015 since I lived in Philly for 23 years. Philly always knew how to kick ass and this was no exception. Wildflowers documentary. I love it all. It's just gives me an interesting take and perspective from another person that managed to escape Florida and lived to tell about it as they did their best to stay true to the their coreiefs. Good damn deal. Which leads me to today's interesting post of a criticism to me that somehow by not timestamping a Bonnaroo concert and sharing with others..blah blah blah and commenting on his health and how the whole thing was so meaningful that I was being very selfish and not really caring about other people...So I suggested that they obviously have the time to spare..and...gasp...the knowledge to do it themselves. And I'm sure TP would approve. Nothing gets me more started then some shallow-brained fool who wants to project whatever insecurities they have within themselves onto me. That is not my problem. I am not their mother. And I am not their therapist. But I would safely suggest that they also look in the mirror before they start to criticize others who comment. And I'm going to make a leap that TP would also agree. He didn't write "I forgive it all" because he was trying to make another MTV video. So again, thank you for taking the time and using your gift and recording it and posting it and all the others that you are working on to share it with us. Everyone has gifts in life. Yes,God I remember the first time I saw T.P. Blossom Music center,Cleveland,Oh. It just seemed like yesterday1985. I cant believe hes gone. No fuckin justice in the world.
J about every week or so I watch this video and Bonnaroo. And the Philly Wells Fargo those are my two favorite just go twos to work around the house singing and upsetting the cats since I'm waking them up also. But I was looking at him with the tambourine and the two girls. And you can tell just how much pain he was in and it was like dare I say damn the torpedoes I minute. It hurts to see it even now. And his bandmates are not naïve to all of this. And I think they did their best to keep him going well in a forward way without doing more damage than was already done from all of the falls and the fractured hip to fully broken. And the good thing is they have been together for so long but they were good friends. Some of these little pipsqueak groups that got together because the promoter thought they looked good together would never understand this kind of camaraderie and compassion people can have for each other. You know you get born to a family but sometimes the people you adopt in your life are the peop,e that are your true 'family' . Ok. Enough of that. Blessings

I had no idea a digital camera could hold up to record 2 hours of video. Good to know. My video from the concert is okay, but not nearly as good, plus cellphones heat up and shut down after a while. Thanks again.
Yeah, I'm using 128gb SD cards with multiple batteries. The camera will automatically stop recording every 30 minutes so you just have to be aware to push the record button again. You're welcome David and thanks for your support!!
