I'm 75 and all my life it seems that as soon as they find out my name, I am rejected. They must have known what it took me 30 years to understand and realize. Names are labels and they knew what my name meant more than I did. I now what you said is true. They must have been put in place to "tend" me when I couldn't tend myself. I thank God that He takes care of me when I don't realize who and what I am.

You have to learn to let of go that things do not work out … you have to learn to accept it first that not everyone going to be thinking like you or agree to live in a reality defined by you for everyone. Some people live in their dreams, let them be if they survives better and happier that way, don’t need you to tell them what their reality is, the universe is created out from nothingness, people create their realities, if your reality provide discomfort for them, then they are going to seek for their own, just simple as that. Better for you just mind your own business; sticking your hands to twist, bend, or paint other’s reality based on your preference is an annoying job, lol.

Insightful! Once people realize that they are created to do something unique to who they are; they will free themselves from slavery to others. We were not designed to work jobs or create businesses to be our identity (despite what the matrix tells us). We are created to impact others and the world beyond us to make it a better place.
If that’s the impact I leave - whether it is in an under qualified job, outing the horrors we are inflicting each other or to piss off the holier-than-thous in the spiritual realm- I am doing what I’m called to do. Praise God!

OMG!! THIS IS UNCANNY! This sounded so much like a personal reading. I can't list all the times I was told that I was "too qualified" by a hiring stiff. I would walk away grumbling under my breath that the snorklefish who rejected me didn't even have the mental "wherewithal" to assess me fairly. In many cases I felt much "more qualified" than those who rejected me. I came from a working class family and put myself through college. I regret that I spent almost ten years getting a doctoral degree in ethnomusicology because the main reason I struggled for it was just to "prove" to meself that I could. Been a long road from high school daze when I almost didn't graduate but "squeaked by" on half a credit. My life has had more than its share of brushes with death, which makes me believe that somebody "upstairs" likes me. I have been blessed in many ways. Oh, and I write poetry too! Thank you, for a very enLIGHTening reading!

Loyalty has to be spoken in context, families, friends, lovers, supposed to be stick to each other and loyal to each other forever. But it does not need to be if it is wrong to put these people together at the beginning that they were unaware their minds would never fit and make discomfort to teach other, but full of abuse, control, and perversions. In such a relationship, doesn’t matter is father-son, Mother-daughter, or husband-wife, it is not obligated for sticking forever. Some people are okay in a toxic and abusive relationship like there are a lot of people do actually find comfort and joy in incest and polygamy, I’d say don’t separate their relationship if people born to fit into that style but stop holding people that’s unfit for whatever it is. If you do not give Adam his rib the rib that fits him, Adam has a right to depart the wrong rib. People messed up at at the beginning in their relationship that they just take whatever they can get and available in their imagined advances, not necessary the one that fits. Loyalty to relationship should be praised, but obsession, control and abusive is another story.
