Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a mighty lion. One afternoon, as the lion was resting, a little mouse accidentally ran across his nose, waking him up. Furious, the lion caught the tiny creature with his powerful paw.
"Please, mighty lion, spare my life," pleaded the mouse. "One day, I might be able to help you."
The lion laughed at the thought of a tiny mouse helping him but decided to let the mouse go out of pity.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter's net. He roared and struggled, but the more he fought, the tighter the net became. Hearing the lion's roar, the mouse remembered the lion's kindness and rushed to his aid. The mouse gnawed at the ropes of the net with his sharp teeth, and before long, the lion was free.
"You laughed at the idea that a small mouse could help a great lion," said the mouse. "Now you see that even a little friend can be a great help."
The lion was humbled and grateful to the mouse, and they became friends forever.
