Etc) really helped me to understand the big picture. And, your point of NOT trying to create a “portrait” really struck home. I’ve never heard that before,and you really shifted my thinking. I dont think caricature can be taught like painting . Perspective, definition of lines, etc...yes... but capturing an emotion, is difficult. Not to say it cant be taught methodically, but a true caricature is one shot. No going back...if your doing a live caricature.
