      Thanks David, I'm only on lesson 17 at the minute and didn't know why I wasn't getting the autocomplete like Paul does in his lessons, This is all new to me so if I encounter any problems it can take a while to find the solution, but I guess that is the learning curve when trying to learn your first coding language

    I installed OpenCV from source so I could use my GPU and this video helped me get intellisense running. Thanks Paul!

    Good Lesson, will be happy to have this working. Tried to find ways to make it work without success. Thank you David Westmorland for sending this in!

    Thanks, Paul. CV2 intellisense now working after updating settings.json as you outlined.

      That is a big step forward. I can never remember all the particulars of opencv commands, and having the popup reminders is a real help. Really appreciate the guy who sent me the solution, believe his name was David if I remember right.

    Hi Paul, Problem here. In my version of code-oss (1.32.3), "Preferences: Open Settings (JSON)" looks like this:
    {
    "workbench.colorTheme" : "Default Light+" ,
    "editor.fontSize" : 16
    }
    There is no Python path in "Open Settings (JSON)", unless you added a Python path to "Open Settings (JSON) sometime in the past.
    If that is not the case, why is my "Open Settings (JSON)" different from yours and how should I proceed?
    Regards,
    Tom Coyle

      I am by no means an expert, but would just suggest making your .json file look like mine

    What is your preferred coding language?

    At the end of the day one shouldn't have to be a super sleuth in order to get an update to function correctly....poor quality control on behalf of the programmers

    I'm on Jetpack 4.5.1, and now this doesn't work either. I've verified that I've got just what Paul has (which is still correct for my machine), but no joy. Anybody else having this issue?
