As a retired MOW Union Pacific employee I have to say NS employees and contractors have accomplished a hell of a lot of work in such a short time . That kind of work is slow and hard . Hope all of them get a rest soon .
Great job by crews, but wow.. how close to river edge on some parts...track during and after rain storms will really need to be checked out before trains should proceed..
That rail road may be done be for I 40 gets all 4 lanes open may be be f or i 40 gets 2 lanes open and a lot more money has been poured in to I 40. Ns has not even tryed to get the Line open Bn rr was doing the Power river basin 10 milers a day
WTF is going on with this video? No explanation, just straight into fast forward then normal time and then it goes back to the start and goes normal speed.. why not do that for a start?
Maybe the New President in office ,can see what's the problem with All FEMA,and get what they all are suppose to do !!! Help American People's not give all and go broke to other countries. 😢
A large share of the money in the aid bills for Ukraine is spent in the United States, paying for American factories and workers to produce the various weapons that are either shipped to Ukraine or that replenish the U.S. weapons stocks the Pentagon has drawn on during the war. One analysis, by the American Enterprise Institute, found that Ukraine aid is funding defense manufacturing in more than seventy U.S. cities. The vast majority of this money never leaves the US and instead supports American jobs. For the modest amount of around 68 cents per day per American the US helps Ukraine dismantle Russia’s military without a single American firing a shot or being shot at. The US can easily afford to support Ukraine, but it cannot afford not to. Putin must be defeated! More than $100 million in FEMA individual assistance has been approved for North Carolina households affected by Tropical Storm Helene.

They fixed it fast because they're losing money
Wow….amazing work so fast. Great drone shots too….keep em coming!
I was out today between Green Mtn and Relief and CSX is mining rock from the riverbed to shore up/rebuild their track bed. It's crazy.
And that mining is damaging the riverbed further. They need to bring in material up there, not mine the river.
An incredible amount of work in a relatively short amount of time. I’ll be up by Walnut in about a week to check that area out.
Awesome Video my Friend new sub thanks for sharing looks like it was a lot of work.😊😊👍👍
Alas, the NS bridge over the PIgeon River near Newport collapsed, and that might be the hardest to repair.
It is going to be rebuilt, not repaired.

Great video!
I think I’m gonna get sick, too much speedy drone footage lol
Agreed!!!!
I thought there was something wrong with my feed! I had to quit watching. Did anyone review this before posting it? Literally dizzying.
@@Archerman.4514 hells yes!
Not a drone. Pet eagle.
After watching this, FEMA called to ask, "Is there anything we can do to help?" The section foreman answered, "Sanswiches and Gatorade would be fine!"
Talk about valuable sand plus an absolutely awesome amount of blow down.
Why are train tracks built next to rivers
Great video. Is that the NS main line through that region?
Yes
Asheville-Knoxville
Hey Can’t U Slow Down Your Video !!!!
I can’t !!!!
Was that a whole line of gondola cars stuck on the tracks? Not good.
Those are well cars in storage in the siding. They have been there for months.
