Your comment caught my eye. I grew up in the hood of Miami my school Edison senior high was closed for renovations and we got bussed to a school in a neighborhood where everyone was affluent. Houses were huge ! I thought they were mansions! ( they weren’t just regular houses but to me they were mansions back then not knowing any better) the kids had nice cars the school was clean the kids would have different shoes on everyday! The hate to us was huge by teachers by male students ( their girls all wanted us ! They flicked to us !) the racism was real. I didn’t know how shitty my hood was or the shit I had until I met them kids at that school in that neighborhood
Yup he needs some people around him that don't want anything from him except to know that he's happy. Family may not always be the people that can do that for you.
Beasley has a lot of childhood trauma to work through. I’ve been following the Pivot podcast since IAA days. I’m a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in trauma work. I would love to help Mike out. I had no idea how tough things were for him. All these years he’s gotten a bad rap around the league. I’m licensed to see anyone in the state of Fl.
"I've been looking for good people for a long time. I'm tired." That hurt. I always felt Beasley was misunderstood. These guys are made out to be our heroes. They need help like us. These guys are humans like us.
He had good people around him and he fucked them over. Go look at Curtis Malone, he did everything for this asshole and when he fucked up his money he threw him under the bus.
I feel the same way. Men's Talk Show is trying to change that. They're creating a judgement free space for men to express their struggles and support each other.
27:24 "Dwight Howard cried on TV and they called him soft, how about if they actually asked what made a man cry in front of 20mill people, what he was dealing with from the inside" What an profound observation, from a man labeled "unstable"...
This is clearly a man who is more intelligent than one would think , This interview was needed on so many levels .. Society needs to have more understanding and compassion for people without judgment.. His story is so powerful and could definitely help many . Wishing you nothing but peace and to be understood moving forward….. How much internal pain a person has to have to be heard ??? Great interview on so many levels .
I would love a follow up episode with Mike just to see how he’s doing now. I hope he found someone to talk to about all the things he’s holding in his heart. He really needs a friend.
You're tired because your country values money over everything Everyone desperate for fame or wealth or both America is not a Christian country- it's become an embarrassment
@@liferoller8935 you know how social media is lol 80% of the dudes who stay in the comments talking shit about a player who’s playing amongst the best in the world can’t even touch the net 😂
“Im Tired” I feel him when he said that .. people really don’t care until it’s too late . Happy to see him doing better than he was but he needs love . I wanna hug him. 🙏🏽
He needs a bone deep hug that holds on until he's cried it all out. I hope he finds the peace so he can evaluate his next steps. He's stuck. When they asked him what he wants to do next, he hadn't thought that far. He's stuck
He didn't even want to get up at the end. This may have been the most genuine human interaction he's ever experienced at one time. Much Love to that young man. This was beyond therapeutic. This was absolutely beautiful. The impact of the show is hard to put into words. Thank you for what you Brothas do🙏🏾🖤
Nah fr,this shoulda been way longer-ion think they understand that this is years worth of pent up conversation and emotion that he needed to spill….it’s like his door completely broke down when he realized these are ppl that he can rlly talk around. We DEFINITELY needa part 2 of the other side of Bease. This was jus the surface💯
He been so beat down he couldn't even understand how to respond. I'm sure they became uncomfortable hearing him speak and had to end it. Channing embraces him and his hands are at his waist. I truly feel for this young brother. Hope he finds the help he needs and embraces it fully.
I hope they kept talking after the episode ended. This was therapy for him. Everyone needs to vent from time to time. We all need to be seen, heard and known. Praying for this young man.🙏🏾
Man I hope Bease can continue to work through everything man. He been through so much shit and been soldering through it the best he can all by his self. Everybody need somebody to talk to and its dope that's platform exist so my dude can have a space to share. I know its hard for him to trust anybody at this point in his life but hopefully he continue to build a relationship with yall boys off camera cuz we all need those type of relationships. Respect to Michael Beasley man, thanks for sharing ya story bro 🙏🏾
They did a good job of letting him speak his his truth not a lot of interrupting him . Get episode for sure . Can't wait for u to drop some more heat yourself Flemlo . P.S I'm sick we could not keep our TE but I understand he got to make his money
You do some of the most powerful RUclips docs that I've seen it might be worth your time to put something together on him my brother because you always seem to find a very unbiased narrative to tell their story from you're truly blessed to do what you do God has gifted you with a crazy ability to see people through clear lenses
I rewatched the episode and I kept saying to myself this guy only needs to be surrounded by a higher caliber of people. He isn’t “crazy” , he truly needs to be supported. Too often athletes are lumped into one broad barrel, when they’re unique in their own right. He needs a supportive group of men with integrity around him. He literally told us what he needed in real time. A supportive ear. Listening to Michael speak showed me he just needs to be heard, not medicated, heard. I always say there’s no coincidence LISTEN and SILENT contain the same letters. I can’t wait until the day black men crying is normalized. Another awesome episode 🥰
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the there’s no coincidence listen and silent contain the same letters blew my mind I never heard that before or even realized it honestly. You hipped me and it’s a game changer
"He literally told us what he needed in real time." Sounds like he's been telling people in real time and they've blown him off as a menace when he really needed people the most Its unfortunate for him, but I trust that he will get the help he needs through divine and genuine friendship. I think these 3 guys can rally around MB.
I’m a grown man in my late 30’s and Beasley’s testimony brought me to tears. I’m going through something really heavy in my life, and listening to Beasley has helped me a lot. Almost feels like the universe sent him to me. I’m rooting for that man.
He didn’t want that to be over. You can tell how he was looking around as Ryan was ending. He enjoyed having someone to talk to. I hope they all exchange numbers and he takes Channing up on his offer. I love how y’all allow people to express their feelings and thoughts ❤️❤️
@Michelle Trimble I got the same feeling. It was like he was just getting comfortable to receive any guidance they were willing to offer. I hope that they continued conversing after the footage. Such a powerful open dialogue. Too often our black men are misunderstood when they really just need someone to listen with no judgment.
Right, I would love for them to follow-up with him, and to continue the comradery and support that he needs. I want to see this man succeed and soar. I pray God places the right people and resources in his life, to remind him of the realization that he's not alone.
@@Miss_Dani_DWhit yea so I usually listen to these while driving or on the treadmill. I had to sit and watch this! The tears that fell from my eyes....This shit was real!
That crack in his voice when he mentions “I’ve tried my whole life to find GOOD PEOPLE” my goodness I can feel him… like my body was apart of his emotions. This interview was very much needed , surrounded his self with OGs who didn’t know him personally, so judgement was at Easeeee. He allowed himself to speak without being judged & that’s what most men of color need . Much respect to those guys who talked him through. This was warming . Head up chest out MB ✨💪🏽
But you’re gotta understand he has to be more strong minded and have more self control and discipline he had a lot of drug issues and sexual allegations and had lil run with fans in the past like he talking about people stealing from him like some people would wait until you not in right state of mind to take advantage of you.
@@DevonStrong I said nothing wrong like it’s the truth if you strong minded and hardheaded when it comes to not listening to negativity and do things ur way like Channing Crowder was saying to him you can control your own narrative in a good way and always stay on point and know how to balance things out and have a good circle around you who wanna see you win then people will have hard time taking advantage of you or say anything bad about him.
He’s doing what’s kept him alive. Survival is all he knows. Trusting himself is all he’s ever known. Listening to Bease talk, man. “I’ve shared problems with people that became me sharing information.” Im paraphrasing, but that shit hurt to hear. He’s always been more than basketball.
Bro F*ck what anybody say, This episode literally showed how much black men hold Depression and anger inside. Definitely felt exactly how he felt and I can’t wait until one of these days I’m given the opportunity to speak my story on a global level too. Much respect to Michael and the rest of the guys 💯💯💯💯💯
Don’t have to be global bruh, just help the ones you can touch. Never can save the world, but can always impact the ones near and dear to u, that’s all that matter in the end. Keep powering up yourself and ur impact will be felt!!!
One of he's last games when he came frm the bench on the sideline & had he's training shorts on, had to run back to the locker in fronna A packed arena, classik loll🤣😭☝🏼🌉💫
This interview really feels like it needs a PART 2. Did not feel like he was done expressing his feelings. I hope he comes back with triumph and feeling better about himself on a later show. Really hope he gets therapy and friends he can trust for life.
Beasley's 33 and we just watched him on this channel because he's ALIVE.... Now Fred (and RC, Channing) is in his life... Watch out! The book is gonna be amazing and M Beasley will impact & save some lives... We won't be able to quantify it prolly, but he will
I agree but, they handled it right... They didn't let him leave (Im 1000% sure - They're Real-Ones)... They kept it going outside of the podcast.... But, good Eye, tho💪🏾
Thanks for allowing him to open up and show us what he is really going through. Hopefully, in some way this can be a pathway to help with the beginning of him healing. Thanks for the PIVOT! 💥
From his eyes, his body language and emotions you can see he has a lot going on. A lot of things that he says resinates with me. I sincerely pray that he gets the help that he needs 🙏🏽
Facts it’s like god damn, I start thinking it’s me but I don’t do people dirty. I give people a free place to stay and he thanks me by stealing from me. I loan people money when they really needed it and they thank me by calling me a junkie and homo. I try to make money with people and they thank me by calling me broke as soon as they don’t need me lol. My own brother won’t even talk to me for more than 30 seconds, my mom told me he been jealous of me my whole life. Makes sense because he’s never did one thing to help me, instead of teaching me things he would just try and dominate to stroke his own ego. It’s part of the reason I try to prove people wrong so much. I had to learn everything on my own and of course it’s going to be the hard way. When your older brother won’t help you in life, who will?
@@cvgodd1432 Damn Bro stay strong King.. I don't know you but I truly understand. I wish I could help you or just listen. You not alone you have a lot of courage to open up. Respond back if you need to talk💯

You can tell just a few minutes in from the tension in his voice how much he’s been holding in for a long, long time. I really appreciate how all three guys pivoted the convo once they realized how much he just needed people to hear and see him.
Their awareness is damn near as important as Michael Beasley opening up. This was beautiful to see. Black men: know you have people in your corner regardless of what you provide. There are people who will show up for YOU not what you can DO. I'm a 100% disabled veteran and I'm only here because I have people I can lean on for the days I can't function. PLEASE know your village is out there. Don't give up. Don't give up. There are people proud of you for simply existing in this bullshit society. Don't give up.
I’ve never cried while watching someone else’s testimony; let alone crying during half of it. He needed this talk! He could GREATLY benefit from seeing a therapist, but I know that isn’t openly received. He was in the right place at the right time for this interview. This was a door opener for him. I pray he finds clarity, love, relationships, and guidance. Suffering in silence is painful. This is my first time seeing/hearing/knowing of him, but even with that I love you. ❤️
This episode had me in tears. I was triggered. The look in this young man’s eyes was the same look my only brother had in his eyes right before he took his life at the age of 25. It sickens me when I think of what People of Color, (namely men) endure on a daily basis. Not just out in the world, but in our respective families and communities. I pray this beautiful soul finds peace in the midst of his pain. I am sending love and light to anyone struggling right now. I know what it’s like to be tired, to have suicidal ideations, and to be too afraid to hope. I know what it's like to want to end it all just to stop the pain. I know what it's like to feel like noone hears, cares or understands. One day at a time, one moment at a time…that’s how I do it. I'm wishing everyone who reads this the absolute best. Don’t give up! Speak life into your own situation and be sure to surround yourself with people who only ADD value to your life not drain your energy.
“I’m not gonna make my problems your problems…”. This particular interview hit home for me on so many levels. His story is so relatable & genuine. I hope he gets the help he needs. You never know what a person goes through
I've heard that quote too many times and it always annoys me. Venting to someone is NOT putting your problems on them or making it their problem. Is that how they feel when someone vents to them? It shouldn't be. You just need a ear to listen sometimes. Hell, just saying the words out loud is therapeutic.
@@daniellejohnson1737 yeah but when you’ve been conditioned to always be strong and no one wants to hear you out most people give up. He said “do I have to be Delonte West to get help?” Delonte West, former NBA player was homeless and had all types of mental problems and it took a video of him being violated for him to get some help. He’s asked for help and it fell on deaf ears and most grown people don’t want to keep asking for help. It can make a person feel like they’re nagging or complaining. No one likes feeling inadequate.
Basically he just thug it out his whole career because he wanted to do his job and that’s play basketball which is respectable knowingly that he needed help along the way I would’ve done same thing but I wouldn’t wait to I’m down at the bottom to ask for help like there’s always ways to avoid that from happening and people gotta understand that when it comes to nba contracts is not always guaranteed so that’s why players have more than one endorsements set it up.
These hosts are good people. Love that they made him feel safe to be vulnerable. Sharing his story like this, he doesn’t even know how many people he help saved. Hope to see more of these type of interviews in the future.
Factz and he brung up a good point of how athletes have done way worst and got paid way more like for example Adrian Peterson had child abuse incident where he almost beat his son to death and the Viking release him and he’s still playing in the league until this very day and tyreek hill had the same similar child abuse incident and he still in the league and has gotten paid way more on the chiefs and won a super bowl after that incident.
@@jaygivenchi AP beat his child with a switch 😂 that’s a regular whooping for old school people and he was suspended for a year because of it and also he’s not currently playing so you don’t know what you’re talking about and Hill ex fiancé stated that hill broke his son arm with no evidence and his son literally stays with him and is around him alot still
@@4ransom437what’s so funny like bro all Michael Beasley wants to do his play in NBA again like I said again he made some viable points about some athletes has done way worse and got paid way more Adrain Peterson got paid way more in endorsements deals and tyreek hill the same read what you just said tyreek broke his sons arm and Adrian Peterson use a belt and beat his kids with it so how I don’t know what I’m talking about if you repeating the same thing I just said but In your own words like exactly they both shown endangerment to a child like have a good night bro your statements were pointless.
So many men are struggling inside and don't have anyone in their corner to support. Men's Talk Show is trying to change that. They're creating a judgement free space for men to express their struggles and support each other.
When Beasley said “I’m tired”. It’s not that he is fed up. it’s that he has lost hope in ever getting any sort of help from anyone. Some people can’t do it alone that why he has been asking for help. I can relate. No one sees what people really struggle with.
@@justme2333 I commend you for doing it alone. Yes people can be dangerous but there are “good”people out there. Learning to find them and trust them is the struggle.

He opened his heart, shared his pain and struggles, they go on to tell him that his openness about his situation will help others! Give the man his peace, help him first, don't you see he is reaching out his hand to be pulled out of the swamp. And once he is been helped and is resilient in life again, then he can help others. Fred Taylor can relate to Michael Beasley when it comes to financial part and should already know because they’re were stories when he used to play for jags that his former agent was being overly greedy stealing millions from him a decade ago and other athletes in the nfl and karma is helluva a bitch because it finally catch up to him and he went to jail for it and then Fred Taylor still reached out to him and had cordial respectable conversation even though fred was disrespected and scammed over things he worked so hard for so with mike even though his family disrespected him by stealing millions behind his back without asking permission the only way he could retrieve all the losses back is if he had reported or reach out too his financial institution earlier then expected about the situation that’s what there for but like he said he didn’t build those relationships he didn’t talk to nobody but has reached out for help behind closed doors in the pass and was just dead end.
I've never watched anything that made me want to meet someone so intensely. This is the interview the world needed. Some people were prisoners inside their own minds, bodies, and in a way, you set them free. Thank you Michael Beasley for being Human. - R.O.C

@@deinaworld that was one of the most pure interviews I've ever witnessed. Like I was a class clown in school, still am. I just want to be in his realm. My gift is my smile, personality and genuine spirit. I'm the the everyone calls, to feel better. In school I was the class clown because I was Bullied for being poor and homeless. We lived in shelters, dirty hotels funded by the state, and also in our car. We moved alot because we'd Stat in one place then that time was up so we had to find somewhere else to go. I went to many schools just in elementary school because of this. I never had friends to call my own. But when I would have someone that cared to be nice, they were always white girls. They never cared about my Salvation Army Clothing. I was Bullied by my own race. I tried to take my life in middle school. It was rough. I remember one night in a hotel we had tuna fish, and dry corn flakes for dinner, but at least we were fed. One good memory from living in a homeless shelter was that we weren't supposed to have any type of food or snacks in our rooms. One night my mom opened up a bag and she snuck some snacks in for us😭😭😭 By us I'm meaning I also had a little brother and sister as well. I'll never forget that day. Fast forward my son was Bullied as well. I was so mad at God like WHHHYYYY!! It made my son depressed, he was Bullied probably for being overweight. What the kids didn't know was that My son had severe asthma, and was on steroids yearly, which made him continually gain weight. Now fast forward about 25 years later. I started working in a Hospital. On the Float Pool. Part of my assignments was the SI ( Suicide Intervention ) team. Half of my patients were The Youth. Majority of them tried to take their lives, or had a plan to because they were Bullied. You see where I'm getting at? I could relate to them and talk to them and tell them my story. They would confide in me things their own parents didn't know, because it's a fact children open up more to people they feel they can relate to. They never wanted to talk to the Dr's, therapists, Social workers etc because of that fact. But after talking to me, I'd always tell them. You have to talk to them like you are talking to me, they are the ones that can truly get you the help you need. However they can't try to fix what they don't know. It's like someone coming to the hospital in pain but not saying what the pain is or where it is, or what makes it hurt more. We don't know what to fix. They always had a change of heart. I realized in those years, that's why I was Bullied, it wasn't for bad things to happen to me, but for those things to help others. Now why was my son Bullied? Because at that Childs bedside was always a crying parent. You get where I'm going? Now I'm also able to relate to that parent because my son was Bullied. They didn't care that my son was never in the exact same situation and tried, or planned to take his life. They just Collapsed in my arms many times, because I could relate to their child being mentally altered by it. The many times I've just cried with families, or sometimes kept it in because I knew if I wasn't strong for them, it was like their last mental hope at that time. However I did cry many days. I just held it in until I got off, crying on my way home. Sitting in my driveway wat trying to get it together before going in the house. That's why my son was Bullied and he can carry that torch to help others as well. I told him he better. This video just made me want to run to him, offering nothing but a TIGHT SOUL FELT hug, and my listening ear. I became the class clown because loves to laugh, they never cared about what I had after that. That also showed me I have the natural ability to bring laughter to anyone, anywhere. Even to this day, in a grocery store, in conversation I have people laughing like we are old friends. That's what makes my heart smile. I know depression, so it's like I just want to help others making positive moments anytime I can. Sorry for the long reply, and please excuse any errors as I have to use speech to text at this moment. - R.O.C
One more thing I DESPISE!!!! THE STIGMA THAT MEN SHOULDN'T CRY, OR IF THEY SEEK HELP THEY ARE WEAK.!! My son is 22, when he was a little kid, I let him know it was ok to cry,, and always ask for help. Tears and talking to a neutral party are forms of inner self healing therapy. This is why so many Black men snap, then the world thinks they are crazy. They have years of stuff bottled in with no release. It sucks so bad on so many levels. Middle finger to SOCIETY AND THE MEDIA - R.O.C
@@deinaworld and that's so unhealthy. It's eating away at parts of them that they don't even know until it's too late sometimes. If there's no one in your circle you can trust to just vent to sometimes, because believe it or not that helps many times ( if you don't need things that are prescribed) because it's an outlet for release as well. If you don't have that in your circle or a circle period, find someone that can help you. The first rule of survival is self preservation, MIND, BODY, AND SOUL. Everything starts with the mind. That first has to have some kind of balance. If not everything is thrown off even when it looks like people or ok. The fact is you'll never find out until interviews such as this one. I'm a Certified Empowerment Life Coach. However I stopped because I'm Human and I don't like titles and really not the one I have because that's not who I really am. There's no title for who I really am. I'm the name given to me at birth, that's all I want to be. I am me, a person who just loves making people feel better, a good old Country Girl with an amazing heart. I had to realize I AM THE TITLE!!! My surviving things that's happened in my life, to help others, is my certification. Sometimes in life we have to even change our own aspects on things.
Man I wasn't expecting to get this emotional watching this. I was a senior in high school when he first got to the NBA, so I remember how good he was when he first got to the league. I had no idea he went through all this trauma. You can tell he needed this dialogue. Salute to ya'll for giving him the platform to speak.
What Mike is saying is so true. People everyday are crying for help, drowning right in front of bystanders who have the ability to help but never extend a hand to help. Watching the downfall, drama, and outbursts are more entertaining. Instead of helping someone struck by a car or falling into train tracks, people rather watch and record with their phones and then want to be the first to spread someone else’s misfortune or demise. I feel like Mike has gotten to the point where he’s given up and has become hardened and stubborn to any kind of help or uplifting; fearing he’ll only be let down once again. I myself can relate to the feeling of not getting my hopes up for anything due to being conditioned so much to be let down that it becomes normalcy. We all just need to do better with having compassion, empathy, and consideration for each other. Be willing to share information and resources instead of being “gatekeepers” of success and advancement. You can’t take it with you when you’re gone. Bless others through your own blessings and you will continue to be blessed.
This 100% facts, dude committed suicide in public yesterday in Philly in my neighborhood and while the police were there, ppl around just pulled out their phones and recorded. It’s a damn shame. It’s all fun til the rabbit got the gun. It’s true because it’s real. A joke is funny til it hits home. Beasley needs help and I hope he gets it. Bro gotta live for the sake of his kids and his family name, but it’s easier said than done
It’s sad to see, when I was dealing with stuff I took the approach that I’m gone deal with it on my own because that’s what I thought was the right way but it’s really sad to see a guy say he’s asked for help so much to the point where he’s given up. I hope decides or decided to take their help

This is the realist interview ever. First time watching the Pivot. Thank you Michael Beasley for sharing your story and being vulnerable. Thank you to the Pivot team for showing TRUE brotherly love and providing the safe space to share true emotions. He needed that. Black men we need you. Go get your healing.
The Pivot just pivoted to a whole other level. Nothing but respect for Beasley. You can tell he wants peace of mind and genuine relationships. Keep that goal brother. We can see you have the inner strength to find your way. Prayers and much hope coming your way.

I've said that so many times and currently feel that. People don't get it. I've been my own worst enemy and put myself in so many bad situations. I'm in a better mindset now and have been for awhile now. But the shit I out myself. I will forever be "tired".
@Ellie5621 People so quick to jump to depression and diagnosis people they haven’t even met or don’t even know with some type of disorder. NO. It’s called life, you go through it and it builds character. Just because you can’t relate doesn’t mean something is off lol
@Ellie5621 Beasley has a schema right now that is known as "the world is a dangerous place". This is probably the first time he has opened up like that. IMO I don't claim to know him. But it seemed fresh and it seemed raw. Beasley had 3 people let him vent and they showed compassion and empathy in return. He was grateful for this, but at the same time said many things that proved to me that he sees "the world as a dangerous place". He didn't know how to reciprocate what Channing, Clark, and Taylor were showing. He won't be able to trust people for a long time. I don't blame him though. What is core values are and how he views relationships....people in his life...those who he thought were close to him violated his core values of relationships. I'm not sure if Beasley depressed or what. I know he is suffering and trying to be a man the best way he knows how. If I'm rambling I'll just sum it up right here. This was his first time opening up around people who wanted nothing and didn't need nothing in monetary value from him. In his current mindset he couldn't fully accept that and stayed on his guard protecting himself. I hope he finds relationships where people are friends with him because he is Mike. Nothing else. It starts with him rationalizing his own world view and seeking out healthy relationships and learning to build trust in himself and in those around him.
@@matthewmccann7108 the thing is I don't think this is the first time he has opened up because he says he has asked for help but no one helped him BUT this is the first time he FELT HEARD and FELT LOVED!
As person that been depressed man that quote “I’m tired trying to find good people” man thats shit made me feel so sad right now I hope they checking up on bro
The fact that the entire show PIVOTED from original talking points to THIS...... this is the reason why I'm a subscriber. Real Conversations, Real Answers in Real Time. Salute to the show, don't stop
Mental health it's a serious pandemic.. this episode was so intense even Channing wasn't able to throw a joke or be off topic. Well done to the whole team ... well executed 💯 👌🙌
I know exactly how he feels, but how these brothers embraced him and reached out is inspirational. I need to find me a group of friends like these guys ❤️
The Pivot Podcast, this conversation is so powerful and heartbreaking at the same time. The reason for the Pivot is crystal clear now. The Pivot platform is going to save lives(did you hear what I said), because so many people are in pain, and some have absolutely no support. Fred, Channing and Ryan, I am blown away by the empathy and compassion you showed, and how open Mike Beasley was to telling his story. Do not underestimate the power of your voices. Oh my goodness!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@malissa29soulmoxiefoods you're not alone, I did too. At the very least, the conversations are starting to show that real, grown men have feelings and emotions, and it's ok to ask for help when you need it. Thank you!
I’m from the DMV, went to Oak Hill with Mike and can genuinely say the media did a good job of trying to destroy him. He wasn’t you’re cookie cutter athlete. He was 6’8 and intimidating to those who never took time to connect with him. At OHA he was free spirited. You could hear him singing gogo throughout the halls and he often put smiles on faces throughout the campus. He was beloved on and off the court up on the hill. I hate to hear nobody was able to help him. Idk if he’s able to see this or how to get in contact with him as someone who knew him before all the shit hit the fan but me & mine are here for you. Much love MPB 😢💜
From the DMV as well Mike was a Celeb/goat at Oak Every game was pack. Us from the DMV knew mike was going to the league from his DC assault AAU days. D1 ran here
@@andreadelaney1214 he was different on that dc assault team ppl don’t realize if he was soft and unspoken like kd was coming into the league there roles could easily b reversed Beasley could have been one of the greatest scores in nba history
Seriously over here shedding tears as a grown ass man, cause I’m watching the pain in him as he tells my story. I can relate to bruh in many ways and I know it’s many out there with a similar story. Life isn’t easy! Everyday passes by I tell myself “Keep Pushin”. As long as your blessed to be here on this earth you have to give it all you have to become the best you!!
Crazy.. Mikes a good dude, I’m from the DMV area. I can tell you he gets a bad rap, people need to understand the trauma and mental health issues he went Through!😿
I am in agreement with your words, ... "As long as your blessed to be here on this earth you have to give it all you have to become the best you" .. as illustrated by the following prayer using caps as emphasis to speak the LOVE OF GOD THROUGH THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST to bless every heart. On a balcony of space STEPPED A PURE AND HOLY GOD. IN AWESOME SOLITUDE YOU STOOD ALONE. Not one faint star to give YOU light; just endless darkness, it was blackest night. But somehow in the darkness YOU COULD SEE. YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Then through YOUR COMPASSION STANDING OUT THERE IN YOUR TOMORROW, YOU SAW forum's visitors, their families and friends. 🥰 YOU SAW them as sinners (missing the mark resulting in their weaknesses prevailing causing guilt of wrong doing) because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive the grace by justification even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."(John 6:29 KJV) YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏🏾👏👏🏾👏👏🏾 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow. If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:46-47 KJV) Awesome thanks to YOUR GREAT PARDON for being easy on the heart. 🥰 They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh. They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES. LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain. LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏🏾👏👏🏾👏👏🏾 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌🙌🏾 LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰 LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their door until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌🙌🏾 If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee. Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh. O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... "at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore"... (Psalms 16:11 KJV), and the nail print for them to know YOU by answering the following question. How did CHRIST LOVE people into a relationship with HIM? 🥰
when he said "i'm tired" that shit made me instantly cry because if anyone knows that "im tired" feeling and you can hear it in his voice its that same exact one. I hope someone is there watching his back and lifting him up because he needs it more then ever.
He seems like he finally had a chance to talk about his past and his trauma and that’s all he wanted to talk about. He had to get this out. I hope he gets a circle of people that help him!
@@mattk8810 I didn't watch this while interview yet, but man that's one thing about us as people. We try so hard then have a moment where we fall. In the moment we fall that's the hardest point to take responsibility for. We give up. Getting back up just seems like the wrong thing to do, and that thinking makes it hard to take responsibility. But as you said we NEED TO. We need to push forward, cause if we don't.... Bruh
I hope y’all read this; us men, we need this show!! Please don’t ever stop doing what y’all are doing bc it’s helping so many of us to hear the real. Thank you, Ryan, Fred, and Channing. God bless
All men need real people around them. Especially in a time where it’s all about clicks and views. You don’t know who to trust anymore. We need realness one our circles.
Bro.....it's crazy to realize how powerful RC's words are but the response strikes on a whole different level. You know the interview is some deep shit when Channing can't even manage to laugh. Channing was the main one like "Bro, that's not healthy" RC was trying to sit back & analyze. Channing was being the drunk uncle. Lol. Like "Boy, just bring yo ass to my house & drink some beers" but in a positive way. Fred was shook. He's the perfect example of reaching stardom, being talented but always remaining humble & grounded.
I feel him. Him opening up could have saved his life and a lot of people watching. He’s fighting tears from the first word he said. I’m really rooting for him, and I was at KU when he was in Manhattan. He was incredible, still is.
Powerful! Mental Health is so important, but so easily ignored. Let’s not dismiss people as “crazy” when they are crying out for help. Let’s take care of our people. Thank you Michael Beasley for your vulnerability and sharing your story.
This episode is the most heart-felt one yet; had me tearing up heavily. He's seen a lot of pain in his life and he has suppressed it for so long and to finally hear 'I will be here for you [with no strings attached]' was still painful yet freeing for Mike, I'm sure. What amazing group of men you guys are (Channing, Ryan, and Fred) and I'm so thankful for the love and support you genuinely express to people. While indirectly being great role models to others in the process.
WISH I COULD LIKE THAT COMMENT A MILLION X'S!!!!!!💐💐💐💐💐 SO OFTEN WE AS BLACK MEN DONT HAVE THESE DISCUSSIONS,,,A SAFE PLACE TO EXPRESS OURSELVES & LET OUR GUARD DOWN!!!!! YOUR COMMENT WAS EVERYTHING!!!!💐💐💐
Michael Beasley was really preaching. The things he said about himself and other people. The things he pointed out about the community and so on was on point.
Yes, indeed! Dude is a whole ministry within himself. He's going to be very powerful if he accepts the right help and support system and walk into his purpose.
This episode had me crying like a baby. I felt his pain and cry out for help. I am truly grateful for the PIVOT!!! You gentlemen listen to your guest, you let them speak and most importantly you offer help that is coming from a place of real love. My prayers go out to this young man. I pray he take Channing up on his offer and one day call you all to talk. Wow this was powerful.
Are for him to just come over and hoop with his ball like he would do at his home or gym but this time….he would have the presence of someone else who is safe and give himself permission to take another step of lowering the wall just a little bit more. That’s my prayer for him…
"We can't just take our ball home and die" - RC - This forum is untouched. Every time I think it can't get more real or engaging they come with something like this. The empathy and compassion they show is undeniably good and kind and needed.
Y’all not letting him give up on himself is inspiring, a lot of the things Michael said is how I feel everyday. Just seeing black men not ready to give up on another black man is inspiring.
“I’ll be it. Whatever you need” has me in utter TEARS. So much love here. These are good men. All of them. Michael, if you read this comment: I love you. I love you. I love you. I’m here for you.
The fact that he reached out to other ballers and black people high up in the game or world and didn't help breaks my heart. They close circles trying to impress whyir people who don't care about them no matter how much they earn they look down on their own thinking, 'he/she is too new to money and potentially reckless to be seen or mentioned being affiliated with and cost me investment.' These people you care about immaculate image don't care about you, they'd still call cops on you mo matter where you live since you're black and their 'friend'
Man. Just found Pivot a week ago and have been binge watching. Not sure why I clicked on this one. I’m 51 and never really followed Beasley but this one wrecked me. This man was reaching out and these amazing men answered that call. The spontaneous way this interview turned toward helping this man was a blessing to see. Wow.
So many men are struggling inside and don't have anyone in their corner to support. Men's Talk Show is trying to change that. They're creating a judgement free space for men to express their struggles and support each other.
Michael Beasley Saved some kids/people's lives with this interview. His pain is real on his face, in his eyes & in his voice. I hope he finds his peace. He deserves it
I knew he was struggling with holding back tears the entire time. His conversation was so rich and heavy. This interview is so appreciated. Beasley I love you ❤️
I never knew Mike was like this,, when he cried out of nowhere I felt that!! Reminds me of Delonte West,, I love the game of basketball but we don't know the half of what these men go through,, keep dude in y'all prayers...
I just got done watching this at 4 am and my goodness I am in tears. That’s why it’s so important to always be kind because you never know what a person is going through. I pray 🙏🏾 that he is able to heal and become the best version of himself. A good dude foreal ❤️.
Man, this is a true testament of “you never know, what someone is going through” shoutout to Mike Beasley for opening up. Mike, please take Channing up on his offer to bring your kids to his crib so y’all can just chill and do whatever. I understand you don’t trust nobody and you have all the right to feel that way but, Channing, Freaky Fred, and RC are some great dudes to have in your life. They solid as they come. Check in with them!!!!
This episode is so heart breaking but I’m so glad that he chose to tell his story and be vulnerable! I appreciate hearts of these men extending themselves to help him!
I've watched this about 5-7 times now. I cried the first two times because I could legitimately feel the ' I been reaching out for help for so long, I'm tired now '. Mentally wise I've basically handled life the same way, stay inside unless I'm working or getting essentials. The weirdest part is when you are finally emotionally stabled people start showing up, but when I was on the brink of death I couldn't get anyone to take me into consideration. I learn eventually that no one owed me anything, while it definitely would've been nice it wasn't something I ' deserved ' so I learned to forgive everyone I was angry at. This is honestly one of the most earnest messages I've heard in my life which is why I can always come back to it and it still remains impactful. Genuinely hope you find your peace as well as everyone else because I didn't get mine until I was in my 30's. Things will always affect me because the past is apart of you even when you've found healing but I'm so much better now. Good look bro and thank you to all you guys especially you mr. Beasley. And I definitely believe you should've went #1 overall lmaooo but D.rose cool too.
This broke my heart. From the start of this conversation, I just seen pain…you can just hear it in his voice. His guard is sensitive to anything, neuropathways all kinds of miswired…I just want to hug him. Words ain’t enough at this point.
@@mdhcccc you sound depressed, the smallest or biggest thing can change a lot in a person, it can help them to see and confirm they are loved by God. I hope you find happiness or more of it ;)

This man is a prime example of how you can have supreme talent, maybe even a little access, but if you don’t have the support you need (financial, emotional, mental, mentorship, etc) your life can turn out way different. Becomes a little harder to “control your own narrative.”
This was HANDS DOWN the best athlete podcast segment I've ever had the honor to witness. Real bruh's make this pod stand out. I'm root'n hard for my man Beasley to get around positive Black influences that he feels comfortable being around. Loyalty is SOOOOOOO under rated.
Every time I saw that one clip online I felt his pain and would cry. This man needs love and good energy around him. The men on this panel were so amazing and showed empathy towards him. He has no idea how many people he helped feel heard and understood with this interview. I pray for Michael to find the strength inside of himself to continue spreading his testimony and find peace.
Your normal ain’t weird or bad until you actually see what’s actually normal
Channing that invite to the house is EXACTLY what he needs. Man he need some homeboys and some OG's. I love y'all boys for this show!
Yup👍🏾👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Yup he needs some people around him that don't want anything from him except to know that he's happy. Family may not always be the people that can do that for you.

I feel him so deeply
Beasley has a lot of childhood trauma to work through. I’ve been following the Pivot podcast since IAA days. I’m a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in trauma work. I would love to help Mike out. I had no idea how tough things were for him. All these years he’s gotten a bad rap around the league. I’m licensed to see anyone in the state of Fl.
Liking this so your comment can get more visibility. My mother is a counselor so I’ve seen just how needed you are. Kudos to you.

I hope he takes you up on it. It's hard to find black counselors, especially black male counselors. Thank you for what you do.
Worked with Forensic Psychiatrist for years, reminds me of PTSD clients.
Please reach out to him, he's definitely going thru some bad times.
"I've been looking for good people for a long time. I'm tired." That hurt. I always felt Beasley was misunderstood. These guys are made out to be our heroes. They need help like us. These guys are humans like us.
Lot of ppl feel this way too
He had good people around him and he fucked them over. Go look at Curtis Malone, he did everything for this asshole and when he fucked up his money he threw him under the bus.
I feel the same way.
Men's Talk Show is trying to change that. They're creating a judgement free space for men to express their struggles and support each other.
It’s because you dorks need to stop thinking someone is because they get in trouble sometimes. Most people just need help
That's what hit me hard
This is one of the most powerful conversations we’ve been apart of

27:24 "Dwight Howard cried on TV and they called him soft, how about if they actually asked what made a man cry in front of 20mill people, what he was dealing with from the inside"
What an profound observation, from a man labeled "unstable"...
It’s like we are the unstable one’s. He was human and neutral enough to see, when a man cries know it’s not pretty internally
Such a profound statement!
Men are disposable. It’s next man up. No one cares what a man is going through

wtf is a hug going to do for him?
He needs a bone deep hug that holds on until he's cried it all out.
I hope he finds the peace so he can evaluate his next steps. He's stuck. When they asked him what he wants to do next, he hadn't thought that far. He's stuck
I wanted to hug him as well. And let him know he is seen as heard.
Felt this...poor baby
When he said that tears came to my eyes bc I understand him I feel the same way.
He didn't even want to get up at the end. This may have been the most genuine human interaction he's ever experienced at one time. Much Love to that young man. This was beyond therapeutic.

Man I felt it in my soul when he said he's tired... smh
WOW...didn't realize that either with those two words! NO thing is ever a coincidence. ☝🏽
"He literally told us what he needed in real time." Sounds like he's been telling people in real time and they've blown him off as a menace when he really needed people the most Its unfortunate for him, but I trust that he will get the help he needs through divine and genuine friendship. I think these 3 guys can rally around MB.

He didn’t want that to be over. You can tell how he was looking around as Ryan was ending. He enjoyed having someone to talk to. I hope they all exchange numbers and he takes Channing up on his offer. I love how y’all allow people to express their feelings and thoughts ❤️❤️
Great observation
Yo, first thing I thought
i didn't want it to be over either.
@Michelle Trimble I got the same feeling. It was like he was just getting comfortable to receive any guidance they were willing to offer. I hope that they continued conversing after the footage. Such a powerful open dialogue. Too often our black men are misunderstood when they really just need someone to listen with no judgment.
He definitely will come back, this was good for everyone involved
THIS NEEDS A PART 2. I didn't want it to end. I feel like he had much more to say
You damn right he did. He's keeping it away from his kids because they're the last ones he wants to judge him just sad.
Right, I would love for them to follow-up with him, and to continue the comradery and support that he needs. I want to see this man succeed and soar. I pray God places the right people and resources in his life, to remind him of the realization that he's not alone.

You never know what a person goes through
Sister I am telling you!!! I felt the same way.

When Beasley said “I’m tired”. It’s not that he is fed up. it’s that he has lost hope in ever getting any sort of help from anyone. Some people can’t do it alone that why he has been asking for help. I can relate. No one sees what people really struggle with.

"You can't explain MILLION DOLLAR problems to somebody who's never had $10." - Michael Beasley
I. FELT. THAT. 💯💯💯

This 100% facts, dude committed suicide in public yesterday in Philly in my neighborhood and while the police were there, ppl around just pulled out their phones and recorded. It’s a damn shame. It’s sad to see, when I was dealing with stuff I took the approach that I’m gone deal with it on my own because that’s what I thought was the right way but it’s really sad to see a guy say he’s asked for help so much to the point where he’s given up. I hope decides or decided to take their help
That’s a hard lesson to learn but it is definitely a fact of life. People are the biggest disappointment.

Ikr, it wasn't all shallow, but you. Why you do this, what happened..etc. they still had more to say and ask but it gave him the place to let it out
“Everybody you thought loved you, just love what you can do” man that’s deep
Mental health it's a serious pandemic.. this episode was so intense even Channing wasn't able to throw a joke or be off topic. Well done to the whole team ... well executed 💯 👌🙌
I know exactly how he feels, but how these brothers embraced him and reached out is inspirational.
I need to find me a group of friends like these guys ❤️

If “I’m not my brother’s keeper, I am my brother” were a podcast.
Keep being the example. 🖤
this comment got me....
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I had tears man.. because this man has suffered. Is suffering and ain't nobody in his corner. That's gotta feel debilitating.
@@malissa29soulmoxiefoods you're not alone, I did too. At the very least, the conversations are starting to show that real, grown men have feelings and emotions, and it's ok to ask for help when you need it. Thank you!
Great Build, next level guerrilla journalism.
My heart is with Mike. I hope he can find that again
From the DMV as well
Mike was a Celeb/goat at Oak
Every game was pack. Us from the DMV knew mike was going to the league from his DC assault AAU days. D1 ran here

Man this one here hit home hard and a lot of people just don’t realize it’s a lot of people out here just like him or feel like he do
Seriously over here shedding tears as a grown ass man, cause I’m watching the pain in him as he tells my story. I can relate to bruh in many ways and I know it’s many out there with a similar story. Life isn’t easy! Everyday passes by I tell myself “Keep Pushin”. As long as your blessed to be here on this earth you have to give it all you have to become the best you!!
Facts.. keep going bro‼️🙏🏾
YOU SAW them as sinners (missing the mark resulting in their weaknesses prevailing causing guilt of wrong doing) because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin.
They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME.
LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. 🥰🙌🙌🏾
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV.
Same bruh . I feel you

When he said, "I'm tired", I felt that. Bro needs some good positive vibrations in his life asap!
when he said "i'm tired" that shit made me instantly cry because if anyone knows that "im tired" feeling and you can hear it in his voice its that same exact one. I hope someone is there watching his back and lifting him up because he needs it more then ever.
Yeah, i might not have been through the sams situations as him but i know tired! I've been there. It's a crazy feeling to have.
He seems like he finally had a chance to talk about his past and his trauma and that’s all he wanted to talk about. He had to get this out. I hope he gets a circle of people that help him!

No. But he always had that chance. He has to take accountability that he didnt present his case and chose not to.
Bruh

Homie really feels for him. You can see it in his eyes as he addresses Beasley.
Bro.....it's crazy to realize how powerful RC's words are but the response strikes on a whole different level.
You know the interview is some deep shit when Channing can't even manage to laugh. Channing was the main one like "Bro, that's not healthy"
RC was trying to sit back & analyze.
He was legendary at KSU

Yes, indeed! Dude is a whole ministry within himself. He's going to be very powerful if he accepts the right help and support system and walk into his purpose.
This episode had me crying like a baby. I felt his pain and cry out for help. I am truly grateful for the PIVOT!!! "We can't just take our ball home and die" - RC - This forum is untouched. Every time I think it can't get more real or engaging they come with something like this. The empathy and compassion they show is undeniably good and kind and needed.
This shit cut me man. When he said he’s tired… I felt this in my soul. I hope he gets the help he’s asking for 🙏🏾
Y’all not letting him give up on himself is inspiring, a lot of the things Michael said is how I feel everyday. Just seeing black men not ready to give up on another black man is inspiring.
One of the very reasons I respect and like Fred, Channing, and Ryan. They are all really genuine and compassionate.
“I’ll be it. Whatever you need” has me in utter TEARS. So much love here. These are good men. All of them.
Michael, if you read this comment: I love you. I love you. I love you. I’m here for you.
You can see and hear the pain and how tired he is. Emotionally he is spent. And i salute him for fighting everyday to still be here
The fact that he reached out to other ballers and black people high up in the game or world and didn't help breaks my heart. They close circles trying to impress whyir people who don't care about them no matter how much they earn they look down on their own thinking, 'he/she is too new to money and potentially reckless to be seen or mentioned being affiliated with and cost me investment.'
These people you care about immaculate image don't care about you, they'd still call cops on you mo matter where you live since you're black and their 'friend'
This show lived up to it's creed. Did That Pivot like no other show on air (to care for their guest).
Michael Beasley Saved some kids/people's lives with this interview. His pain is real on his face, in his eyes & in his voice. I hope he finds his peace. He deserves it

Man, this is a true testament of “you never know, what someone is going through” shoutout to Mike Beasley for opening up. Mike, please take Channing up on his offer to bring your kids to his crib so y’all can just chill and do whatever. I swear!!!
Man Beasley didn’t want this interview to end. He has a lot to get out. Great episode
This episode may need a follow up!
I assume they continued the discussion, I assume they wanted to have a more personal convo off camera
No follow up, if anything they will do the rest off camera not everything is for the public.
