Awesome video. True art right there. Love it!! 😁👍. I’ve been dabbling in making my own salutes lately...only thing I don’t do is use quickmatch. Just fast fuse. Works just as good That knowing exactly how much flash to add to each shell...

I will never forget the time that my friends and I, took all the fireworks that didn't go off "Duds" and put all the explosive powder into an old aluminum Pie Pan and then lit it!.... We NEVER did that again!.... It incinerated the pie pan, left a permanent burn mark on my parents drive way and the heat flash was just as painful as the light flash was on our eyes. We were lucky that we stood far enough away, but we quickly learned that fireworks are NOT toys to play with!.... In just those few seconds, it felt like we were standing directly next to the Sun and it took awhile for our eyes to return back normal as well!.... 🤯
If you can get potassium nitrate, charcoal and sulphur you can get black powder. Try having a look online about how to make it, it’s actually quite easy
Great video... how or where did those supplies come from being this is a 2020 video.. everything here was shut down and black powder was off the shelves
Qussan ye to be honest I can’t quite believe it either. It’s actually very easy finding the chemicals online as most of them are unrestricted. If you’re a Brit trying to source the chemicals I’d suggest inoxia or amertek and eBay will also most likely have what you’re looking for. However I had to get a licence to buy potassium perchlorate . As for the equipment (shell casings, tubes, tooling etc.) that might prove a bit more difficult as they can usually only be sourced from America. Overtime I’ve managed to get my hands on most of what I need by just having a really good look online or by buying off eBay sellers (which come and go). Good luck to you and stay safe
Always wondered how exactly they make fireworks. If I had gunpowder and all the materials, I could try to make my own but only after learning of course. Besides, that might be illegal to do myself so I could just go and get a job at a firework factory lol
Lift powder is just granulated black powder. 1.) Potassium Nitrate - 75% 2.) Airfloat Charcoal - 15% 3.) Sulfur - 10% You need to buy or make a ball mill if you don't already have one and mill the 3 chemicals together for at least 5 hours (that's assuming you have high purity chemicals and an efficient ball mill/lead grinding media). The type of charcoal you use is an important factor. Willow charcoal has produced the fastest/most powerful black powder for me. Eastern red cedar or pine also work well.....but any charcoal you can get your hands on will work, you just have to vary your milling time. So if you use a lower grade charcoal like mixed hardwood, you will have to mill that for 12-24hrs to get your powder burning at a sufficient speed. You have to do your own burn tests though to determine your mill time due to all the variables such as ball mill type, grinding media and chemical purity. Every few hours, stop the mill and take a spoonful out, lay it out in a line and light one end of the pile. You can look up vids on here to see examples of how fast BP burns and slow BP burns. Slow BP leaves a lot of slag and residue on the ground or surface where you burned it. Something to remember is granulating the BP makes it burn faster, so if you can't your meal powder to burn fast, granulate it, let dry for a day or two and burn test it again and see how it does. Hope this helps.
Only Exam between the charcoal tail mix and the red mix there was some black powder prime to ensure ignition and the outer prime was just a thin layer of black power
If you only use one layer then the burst will be quite weak. In terms of it fitting in the tube, you can launch slightly smaller shells from the same tube.
