After all this time, this is still the best description I've found for the fractal and its mechanics. Excellent, but sadly under viewed, piece of work.
I’ll be the very first to admit that this video in particular is waaaay overdue, and for that I sincerely apologize. I wont neccessarily fling out any excuses, loads of things have overlapped; I’ll just say that I hope you all will still find this helpful for yourself or your friends :) The footage for this video was recorded months ago actually, so long ago that, in the video I actually have the Fractal Attunement Tier 2 (Fractal Prodigy), whereas, as of publishing this video, I am quite literally just a couple of days away from Attunement Tier 4 (Fractal God) :P However, though my daily clears have improved in quality from what you see in the footage, the strategies presented are still 100% valid :) Ps. Nowadays, with the most recent balance, even I discriminate heavily against bringing guards for DPS (despite their utility benefits). It just is not worth it, compared to weavers or holosmiths.
Thanks a lot either way, as always you realise again just how useful your guides are when one is missing :) Now the only problem is getting a group in a reasonable amount of time if you don't have a ton of kps...
Thanks dude. Discovered your guides when someone told me the npc was named after a RUclipsr. Really needed this one for that lnhb title. Now to find a group....... Btw curious, how long does it take you to do t4s and CMs? You seem to speed run so fast!
Was waiting for your guide for so long...anyway totally worth waiting! Useless to say its the best guide so far for shattered observatory CM out there. Thank you sir!

I am a simple man. I see Deroir guide video, i like.
Stijn I actually noticed myself sayinh that in the edit, but couldn't get myself to re-record, and didn't know where to put an asterix "70%*" correction label on the screen, so I just left it in :P Also, thank you!
And also sadly RUclips removed the ability to make annotation buttons, which was an awesome thing you used to have in the table of contents :( Nice vid dood
Skryah GW2 Yeah endcards in general has died off for me :( Right as RUclips removed the use of annotations, I also swapped to a widescreen monitor which has a format that is not supported by RUclipss overlay features... FeelsBadMan
Just got into CM100 myself a week ago or so. If I want a more safe clear, would you recommend the Mesmer taking Feedback against Artsariiv/Arkk? Also, do you prefer base Warrior or Spellbreaker, and why? Thanks for the video, I always look forward to them!
Mesmer taking feedback would reduce quickness/alacrity uptime (depending on which well you take out ) so it's not that good imo. If you want safer option you could either : have a Scouge using Corrosive Poison Cloud to block Arkk's ball attack ( it's called Solar Fury I think ) since the CD will line up perfectly with permanent alacrity or tell everyone to use special action key to block that attack and spawn no red AoE on the ground.
For mesmers on Artsariiv, bringing feedback should (in my opinion) be mandatory. With the proper build and thus boon duration, the extra alacrity from the second well becomes a redundancy since the phases are over so quickly anyways. This opinion however will be contested by others believing that "more alacrity > safety" is a general rule. For Artsariiv reflects can be key in allowing especially weavers to stand still and focus solely on the rotations. For Arkk however I would not recommend bringing feedback. The group will be more clustered there and will thus gain more benefit from having the extra alacrity. Couple that with the fact that not all orbs can be reflected in time due to the CD on feedback being longer than Arkks attack rotation. Plus the special action key is a super easy deboof method. As for base warrior vs. spellbreaker: as far as I see it they are pretty much interchangeable UNLESS the fractal has the "no pain no gain" instability, to which spellbreaker should be mandatory. Personally I prefer playing spellbreaker over base warrior, but I believe the DPS potential for base warrior is slightly higher. TLDR: if boons = spellbreaker. If no boons = whichever you prefer. Hope this helps! Good luck and have fun getting to know the 100cm encounters :)
Would reccomend bringing a Dragonhunter with wall of reflection. That way you dont have to sacrifice alacrity. But definitely do bring feedback if you dont have a DH in your team if you want a safe run.
By crowd control,(7:45) what types of non skills are we talking about ?Thank you for this video btw.I look at your actual hp, and marvel at how you simply avoid the damage. Glass, and bad @$$.Btw, do you have a build preference list for fracs. Say, a most efficient build list?
I'm pretty sure the Arkks green aoe doesn't work like that. It seems to deal same stock damage to everyone inside the circle and deal massive damage to the whole team if you are alone in the circle when it pops. Also it might have been nice to note that you can save yourself if you fall through the floor tiles using the special action key. Some people still don't seem to know that.
This content is 1 year old, but I hope you have any time to answer this question: If my personal level is not on Scale 100 yet (let's say, 50 below), can I tag along with my friend who has Scale 100 and get the same reward/achievement still (e.g., unlockables, celestial infusion chest, etc.)? Thank you for your response if there will be any.
You can! As long as a party member with the neccessary level unlocked *opens* the instance, then you are free to join in :) Just be aware that, at level 100, a minimum of 150 agony resistance is kinda required, otherwise you will take immense damage from certain attacks (If you even have beloe 140 when you simply enter the instance you will die, lol).
@@DeroirGaming Thank you for the abrupt response. Yes, you are right that 150 AR is required for this, which is why I watched your Agony Guide before asking this question lol. Good stuff. :D
The right gateway was supposed to have been a fourth boss that got cut due to its inclusion being too overambitious, I believe. Instead the area was replaced by a mini area where you can find the fractal cat, Simon, for your homeinstance :)

Nice guide, thanks for making it. It will save me a lot of explaining to players who are new to it.
12:28 Arkk phases at 70%, not 75%
But afaik that's the only remark I have. Great job.

Yeah, that's the thing for streamers and content creators sadly, using a widescreen monitor has a lot of disadvantages, sad frog :(

For ark u dont need feedback. SASkill is enough.

Would rather bring hollow ground to just ignore the knockbacks tbh
