I’ve never seen snow and honestly I did not expect it to sound like this. Sounds like rain. I mean, I suppose it makes sense now that I think about it ... I just kind of expected it to be a lot quieter
This is the sound of snow falling onto an umbrella that protects the camera and microphone :) The snow falling onto snow is basically silent.
@@TheSilentWatcher Wow, I also thought that was the sound of the snow. Neither do I have ever seen snow, well, I remember sometime in 1986 it just sleeted for some hours in my city. Snowing is extremely rare in my country, except on the northern states or on the most high mountains when the temperature drops drastically. Thanks for sharing your videos, I love them, I've already subscribed. Lucky you can do this! Best regards for you and your channel, hope you can give us more beautiful footage like this :).
If the snow is fluffy and dry, it will be quiet. If the snow is warmer and wet, it will be heavier and sound like rain.

What about battery life? :)
Is this a gopro camera? The video is pretty solid and I would imagine there would be concerns with expensive cameras or 4k camcorders being exposed to such weather conditions. Sound sounds good on my standard computer speakers, but I've heard people say they like the sound on better quality ones (or headphones) which makes me think there is some kind of mic that feeds two channels of stereo sound at minimum or maybe some sound processing.
It is an expensive camera under an umbrella.

@@TheSilentWatcher yeah, i understand that making a straight long video will take more efforts but that would be much more realistic and better feeling than an artificial loop. Its like a real candle vs LED candle. Anyone agrees with me?

No, there is no creek there - just the sound of snow falling over an umbrella.

The video shows snow, but the audio is again for rain...

You could release two versions of videos: One with authentic audio, and the other with the separate audio tracks you put in so many of your videos.

I explained to you how the sound is recorded. It is recorded together with video. If you think I am lying to you, there's nothing else I can do about it.
snow is quiet when it falls.. to someone who actually gets to watch real snow fall on a regular basis, this definitely isn't relaxing..
This is the sound of the snow falling over my umbrella. People don't usually carry an umbrella when it's snowing, but I am using one to protect my camera from the snow.
