I just recently tried the light and I was surprised by how good it was too. I stayed away from anything that says milwaukee's best for a long time because that was our go to in high school over 20 years ago. We would get milwaukee's best ice and man that stuff was gross. But being high schoolers, we didn't have much money, and it was hard to get beer being underage. So when we could get beer, we wanted something strong and cheap (so the beast ice it was). And a lot of times, we drank it piss warm or even sometimes literally hot straight out of the trunk of my friends ford tempo in the summer time. Because being underage and living in our parents houses, we had to hide it and we couldn't just put it in their fridge... Good times.. But seriously. Give the milwaukee's best light a try. It's no better or worse than any other light domestic beer. You see time and time again people put miller lite, milwaukee's best light, coors light, etc up against each other in a blind taste test and most people can't tell the difference. The stigma aspect of being seen drinking certain beers plays a bigger role than the actual taste with a lot of people.
I haven't ever drank a Milwaukee's Best light. But I drank a few Milwaukee's Best back in the late '80s and early '90s. It was one of the worst beers that I ever had. I've heard that the company improved their recipe a few years ago.

I like the Milwaukee Best but never tried the light. PBR is a good cheap brew I've been drinking lately. Cheers 🍻

Keystone is discontinued as is the ice version. Milwaukee best light is the best cheap light beer.
