My mom is a musician and I showed her this video recently and she went “she’s the lead!” And I said “well they rotate” and she said “doesn’t matter; they let her open.” Fucking sick. 💛
Beautiful version, you can almost hear the words through the cello! the Cello creates so much atmosphere, always loved how Echo and the Bunnymen used it in their music!
When I first heard this song, the strings grabbed me like a choke hold. I got an imidiate sense of happiness and panic all at once. Rare are the musicians that can actually emote soley with their music...and Radiohead is among the best at that. Great cover guys. You captured the songs essence!
Stay in the shadows Cheer at the gallows This is a round up This is a low flying panic attack Sing a song on the jukebox that goes Burn the witch Burn the witch We know where you live Red crosses on wooden doors And if you float you burn Loose talk around tables Abandon all reason Avoid all eye contact Do not react Shoot the messengers This is a low flying panic attack Sing the song of sixpence that goes Burn the witch Burn the witch We know where you live We know where you live
Two things: A) I want to buy this in the iTunes Store. Make it happen. And B) this is a bit of a weird thought, but, it's nice to know that if we ever have a nuclear war or some other apocalypse that good music can still be enjoyed with no electricity
What an amazing performance! Radiohead should contract you guys to do the classic instruments part! And the percussionist, perfect pitch and interpretation!
I found you guys today from your cover at Lateralus. I’m shaken in a good way. Y’all are incredibly talented and discovering you for the first time was a beautiful experience. Can’t wait to see more.
God.damn. 5 yes late but god damn. That was so freaking good. Lifelong musician watching. That was amazing. I’m subscribing to you guys. Please don’t stop . Wow,just wow
Glad to see the group still doing your thing after all the years since Eastman and performing at University of Rochester. Hope to see you reach even greater heights.
By Jove, I think you are right! Don't you think, though, there is some serious DSP it goes through? I was expecting transducers and that could be an interesting enhancement. Hmm,,,
Hey guys, here is the Cajon Ivan is playing. It's called the Jumbo Bass Cajon. meinlpercussion.com/products/Product/PER-CAJONS/Product/show/2234/601/PER-CAJONS/ Thanks.
A remarkable artist speaking through a remarkable instrument in conversation with a remarkable group. Miraculous the lot. Thanks. A price for the instrument didn't pop up. Do you know it?
Hello Don, we don't sell direct and prices change from country to country. For a dealer near you please visit us at meinlpercussion.com/local-dealers/ Thank you for your kind words.
I can tell you guys really like this song, which is much more than can be said than a lot of cover bands. While most cover bands will just do whatever's popular, you guys see what would sound good and what you would enjoy. Great work!!
ravila704 Those songs aren't really orchestral like Burn the Witch is. They're both great songs, but they don't really fit this medium of covers in my opinion.
Dude that's awesome. Reminds me of when my friends and I would improve and have this exact same style; Have an epic bass line with eighth notes and then go crazy from there. Good times!
this actuality shows how good this song is
I thought exactly this too. it made me appreciate it even more than I already was
yes, Burn the witch is masterpiece and this cover is excellent
soo true
As any good cover of a great song should do.
Oh, I think the album did that just fine!
Everyone’s talking about the celli but can we acknowledge the guy in the box drum?? Dude was fucking killing it
Totally; just brings everything together
His name is Ivan Trevino, he's kinda famous among percussionists. I would definitely recommend checking out his music.
This shows how talented Jonny Greenwood is to create such a beautiful string section, pure genius
I nearly always dislike how string players cover modern music but this was fantastic. So glad I found this group.
The fact that it was already somewhat of an orchestral piece to begin with helped, but this was a whole other level
When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin had an unbelievable string cover (in my opinion)
Chills everywhere!
ILRidoppiatore yep
HOLY SHIT you're not kidding
This song has been haunting me for years i can't remember playing a song this much for this long music is food for the soul
The drummer's facial expressions are exactly how I feel about this song. Excellent work!
My mom is a musician and I showed her this video recently and she went “she’s the lead!” And I said “well they rotate” and she said “doesn’t matter; they let her open.” Fucking sick. 💛

Lol a choke hold. Perfectly phrased!!
Stay in the shadows
Cheer at the gallows
This is a round up
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing a song on the jukebox that goes
Burn the witch
Burn the witch
We know where you live
Red crosses on wooden doors
And if you float you burn
Loose talk around tables
Abandon all reason
Avoid all eye contact
Do not react
Shoot the messengers
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing the song of sixpence that goes
Burn the witch
Burn the witch
We know where you live
We know where you live
Essentially perfectly executed.
The audio engineer needs some praise, too. The sound quality is insane.
The three on the right are having a great time, but the guy on the far left is becoming one with his instrument.
Avacado's Constant he is magnificent
He's doing a Jonny
sometimes he gets outta the tempo
Just chanelling Johnny
@@deboraalves385 cos a hair on his bow broke off.
Touching. Fierce. Dirge. Masterpiece.
Rare treat - extraordinarily skilled musicians talented and intelligent enough to cover one of Thom and Jonnys masterpieces. Brilliant rendition!!
Goosebumps right where Thom sings Burn The Witch where the cellists took over. Wow!!!
Once again showcases how amazing celli are. Stellar performance, great job guys !
salut chef !
Phenomenal performance, incredible how three cello players can sound so amazing, guy on the box was mint too.
This was stunning, packed with passion.
This is brilliant! And is a perfect demonstration of how good and complex Thoms vocal melodies are!
the dissonance is much more apparent in your arrangement. didn't realize it as much when listening to the studio version. love it awesome job
This is the most metal thing I have ever seen
I'm officially awestruck. This is one of the greatest songs of their career and you absolutely nailed it. Chills. Fantastic.
Radiohead should bring these guys on tour with them.
This was amazing. Only cover i've heard where the drum beat changes like the original, 2:00 mark in this. What a great job
0:58 gives me the chills
I love the harmony between the guys, how they enjoy it, how they feel it, selfless, they let eachother flow in
...such a powerful song becomes even more powerful. Just makes me love what Radiohead have created even more. They stand alone for me.
Holy wow... one of my fave songs done with nothing but my fave instrument. What an arrangement. Perfect.
I think this is the best cover of the song ever.
Yeah killin it with cellos, turn it up
AMAZING and the use of the Cajon was so great, I usually hate the instrument as a replacement for drums.
Well the original song in particular doesn't have a powerfull drum so maybe thats why the cajon fitted so well (i think)
it would be such an amazing feeling to see and listen so good talented people playing covers to your own songs .. !
This is a low-flying panic attack...
Why am I just now seeing this!?! Wonderful job!
You Guys are an absolute Miracle....
It shows beautifully how complex the song is. 🥰
Two things: A) I want to buy this in the iTunes Store. Make it happen. And B) this is a bit of a weird thought, but, it's nice to know that if we ever have a nuclear war or some other apocalypse that good music can still be enjoyed with no electricity

Glad to see the group still doing your thing after all the years since Eastman and performing at University of Rochester. Hope to see you reach even greater heights.
That came from another whole dimension. Unbelievable experience.
I have to know what the percussionist was using. I mean, like, I really have to know.
Yes, and it seems to have been enhanced electronically. I'm wondering if it's a product or a piece of kit he made up.
By Jove, I think you are right! Don't you think, though, there is some serious DSP it goes through? I was expecting transducers and that could be an interesting enhancement. Hmm,,,

Wow, great!..
Mesmerising is just to begining of how to describe your performence!
Unbelievable musicality here. If you have a score I would pay for it.
I gave up playing cello about 8 years ago now. This has made me want to buy a cello and keep playing. I loved it
