I dont know what to type other than thank you for the detail of allowing me into a part of one of the most gentle beautiful souls of a woman I have held with such great esteem and, I know she was manipulated by the film industry this film gives me a form of comfort in knowing that there were true friends for her at a time of awful abuse of such a gentle soul. Wonderful movie thank you.

Watching this movie now . Its not to bad . The actress who plays Marilyn has to much of an accent . She doesn't seem to feel comfortable with the role . I have always been curious about the relationship between Marilyn and Whitey . After all he created Marilyn's iconic makeup look .
She seems to really be giving it a bang up try.
I still can't believe the gall of greenson being there since he was on of Her murderers.

You can see it's an amateur movie (low-budget)but in a good way.
But I like that they remembered her respectfully, you can't say that about many movies...
No matter what budget surely they should get an actress with the correct accent and look a like to the amazing wonderful goddess in fact this actress has the perfect voice for subtitles!!! And if you squint in a dark room u might think it’s Miss Monroe ,I as a fan of Norma Jean I’m upset by this ,it could of been a great movie not a slap in Marylin face !!

Very sweet film, low budget but with a heart. Marilyn a bit stiff - in fact she looks more like Jayne Mansfield - but some of the makeup and lighting does evoke Marilyn (who had straight teeth...) 5/10. I think it's impossible to impersonate her - no-one comes close - even professional impersonators only achieve a tawdry imitation of Marilyn and only in character - dressed in one of her movie costumes where she is not actually being herself. She had inner and outer beauty which I haven't seen any other actress possess who's tried to be her. This is an interesting take though - it must have been so painful for Whitey to make her up in this circumstances. RIP MM
Not sure bad movie at all. Just too much accent for Marilyn. Love the way they made the perspective of Whitey and Marilyn.

They could never find “replacement lookalike” of MM no one is or was that beautiful so they do the best(perhaps) had they can. Just my take…

A really good idea for a bio on Marilyn, but the actress was unbelievable as Marilyn. Not even a good impersonation. And as usual with all Marilyn biographies the wigs are always terrible.

The accent is weird. I thought the same thing. But this movie doesn't exploit Marilyn's life like the crappy blonde movie. Truly that movie was really really bad.

Well, what do you know, eh? Everyone is entitled to their wrong opinion. The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe was awful. Blonde was awful. At least RM is authentic and true to the facts about Monroe and her life, without all the sensationalism. May I suggest you do some research ;)
