Hello from Romania 🇷🇴 I have a 2001 Cadillac Deville DTS, the 300 HP version, night vision etc. Really Nice car. I changed the starter, cranks but no start. And IT cranks from the relay starter, i have to do it by hand. I got the cap of the relay and that's how it's cranking. But if i put the key in the ignition, radio works, lights in the car work, blinkers, BUT THE dash lights don't and also the lower and high beam don't work. Everything esle does, the windows etc. I put GAS in it but nothing. I tried this but i did not got a bolt fir the bloc, i need to find ine that fits so i can see if it works. The alternator it's kind of wet... I've seen that TODAY. If this metod doesn't qirk, what could be the problem ? Thanks and God Bless! ✝️
@@rockyvigil9273 i fixed IT ! The panel relay from the engine bay, the one on the passenger side, was not conected entirely. When you open the cap, IT has 3 bolts 7 MM, i had to tight them and after replacing the starter, that was the problem IT did not start. Now the car runs perfect !
My turn signals won’t work reverse parking sensors won’t work my speedometer both are not working check engine light won’t appear on dash even when ignition it’s on position I have P0650 but I check them fuses and they all good could this be a bad ground issue ?
@@BlownMoneyENT no bolt there only an empty threaded hole. I took the bolt out of the frame side of the ground cable and it fit so I matched it at the hardware store, I don't remember what size it was.
To be honest bro it's super easy just make your you blow any dirt or heavy debri away from the intake it's 10 bolts and 8 clips that go to the injectors and few other bolts other then that super easy just did mine took me a hour but I took it out took it to O'Reilly's passed the starter test mine had a little corrosion on it I cleaned it up now it starts every time
I know im late to the party but even well over a year later you helped yet another person fix their car, thank you for the help

Have you checked your battery? Low voltage can cause all sorts of odd problems

P0650 could be a bad bulb in the check engine light but the other problems indicate you make have a fault in the wiring.
What size bolt did you use for that threaded hole on the motor
I think it was the same size as the bolt on the other end attaching the wire to the frame.

Mine cranks but no start?
My 2003 Seville sts wouldn't crank when there was no tranny fluid in the car dash wouldn't even come on
What size are the rings on the ground wires?
I just bought a ground wire from O'Reilly and it had the ends on it already

No didn't fix my problem still just clicks at the fuse box under the Seat

Have you tried a new battery or a jump box, these draw a lot of amps and a battery that may seem good enough in most cars cars will not start these.
