thanks. I just went through that exact process earlier today and was left wondering if I'd done it right because there is not icon for recaptcha showing anywhere. This could be because I couldn't include the staging site web address (google wouldn't accept it), so I just loaded with the 'live' address (which hasn't been shifted over to the new Divi build I'm almost done with). Hey, Nelson - thanks for the background and the walk-through. Here's the one unanswered question that I have regarding this implementation: What exactly do the contact form or email optin modules DO with this score? Assuming that, in your case, the score is below 0.5, what happens? Is there a complaint displayed? Does it just act like the form was submitted but it gets thrown in the trash? I am a little concerned for the case where a real live person did something to have that score go below 0.5 and they would not know that the form never submitted. In the Google Developer area, they talk about a secondary challenge for failing scores ala reCaptcha v2, but not sure who has to do that coding - Google or Elegant Themes? Also a useful thing would be to be able to test this in both human and bot mode to see what happens. Any insights on that part of it?
Hey Randy, I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that. I think Google support would be able to answer that about how the score is based, like if the score is wrong. I wouldn't know how to test this as a bot, so I can't help there either. Hopefully some reCAPTCHA experts will chime in!

The information regarding the recaptcha is added at the right side of the site and follows along all the time. Is it wrong to hide that with CSS? "This site is protected with google Recaptcha" Since I dont want it in the design of the page to be visible. I used .grecaptcha-badge { display: none !important; }
It kinda annoys me that the only option is v3, where everything is invisible. For some reason, I keep getting "You must be a human to submit this form.". What are the minimum "requirements" to successfully send something with v3?
I was having that issue too. I dropped the minimum score to 0.2 and it seemed to work..although I'm not sure how well that will work for my client but time will tell.
Yeah I suppose it would be nice to have both options, I believe Divi is thinking that in the future Google will probably only support v3. Just my guess.

@pee-aye-creative I have below the plugin Divi Extended Column Layouts Version 1.8 But I am not able to find spam protection tab in Divi editor Do you know the reason?
Hi David, that plugin wouldn't have anything to do with this. You can find it in the Email Optin Module or the Contact Form module. If it's not there, contact ET support.
Oh, was also going to ask; "What about all the codey stuff that Google have for us"? [ grecaptcha.ready(function() { grecaptcha.execute('_reCAPTCHA_site_key_', {action: 'homepage'}).then(function(token) { ... }); }); ] . This is shown in Google/guides/Recaptcha V3. Where are we supposed to put it??!!
no actual recaptcha form is visible, this tutorial doesn't explain how it works, it's invisible to the visitor, and it will return a message "You must be a human to submit this form." is there some scripting that must be assed to a php page?
Hi Mike, I'm not sure what mean, because version 2 was visible and had a checkbox that says I'm a human. What about the message? Are you saying that you are getting that when testing it?

Why is it that no tutorial addresses the issue of invisible reCAPTCHA?
Try asking on a tutorial that doesn't address it? How weird
@@PeeAyeCreative Precisely, nothing proves your tutorial works because you don't show it working.
how to save divi contact form data ? in dvi
Try Divi Contact Form DB plugin.
@@PeeAyeCreative where to find that?
@@praweshpanthi980 It comes up pretty easily in a search on Google, or try Elegant Marketplace.
Thanks Buddy. Constructive comment: the first 5 minutes are kind of wasted time. Thanks again
Interesting perspective, thanks for sharing!
Oh, was also going to ask; "What about all the codey stuff that Google have for us"? [
grecaptcha.ready(function() {
grecaptcha.execute('_reCAPTCHA_site_key_', {action: 'homepage'}).then(function(token) {
...
});
});
] . This is shown in Google/guides/Recaptcha V3. Where are we supposed to put it??!!
Divi takes care of this now!
no actual recaptcha form is visible, this tutorial doesn't explain how it works, it's invisible to the visitor, and it will return a message "You must be a human to submit this form." is there some scripting that must be assed to a php page?
Hi Mike, I'm not sure what mean, because version 2 was visible and had a checkbox that says I'm a human. What about the message? Are you saying that you are getting that when testing it?
I have the same issue ! I set up the recaptcha, but then it doesn't show anywhere on my contact form
Hi everybody - I have the same problem. implemented all required data and strings but only see the message "You must be a human to submit this form" at the top of the contact form.
I have the same problem, I have configured the captcha, but it is not shown in the contact form
Doesn't work. I get the message "You must be a human to submit this form.
"
Okay, that's something with Google or you could check with Elegant Themes support.
why this isn't working for me?
What isn't working?
@@PeeAyeCreative I'm brazilian so I didn't understood that wouldn't apeer the "I'm not a robot" thing, so I thought it didn't worked. But it is! Thanks to you, actually hahahahaha thanks so much, you really helped me
Glad to hear it is working for you!
You didn't;t show it working in the end
Correct, but what would I show? It would be pretty boring to see me sign up, wouldn't it?
@@PeeAyeCreative Sorry, yes I. can delete this stupid comment. My problem was that I had it all set up and didn't see a "Are you human" button but I now know that version 3 doesn't have that any more. Thanks for the vid and apologies. I'll let you read this then delete my comment.
This module is absolute trash. Never use Divi's contact form. It says I must be a human even on 0 ...
Well, that's the stupidest thing I read today. Just because you are frustrated at Google does not give you the right to say a perfectly fine module in Divi is trash.
@@PeeAyeCreative yeah sure, whatever you say. When they pay you it's good, right.
Thank you Nelson! Very Helpful. Thank you
